I wish I’d heeded reviews before purchasing! We purchased two, one as a fridge and one as a freezer. The fridge one is ok (thus, the 2 stars), but as a freezer this is junk! We’ve had for just under 7 months and the compressor won’t come on to cool. I’m going to have to get rid of almost $400 in meat and this, of course, is not covered under the warranty. I’m still working with the company, but it is a huge hassle!

I am thrilled that I got this Vissani 11cu ft freezer/refrigerator. The best feature is that the shelves are vertical and everything that is inside can be seen without having to shift everything around. The one thing that I don’t like is that the temperature only goes to zero degrees. They might seem cold, but for frozen food to last a long time, it needs to be at least -7 degrees or colder. So this freezer is great for short term freezing such at 6 months. This unit can also be turned into a refrigerator if need be. That can be very convenient for many people looking for versatility. Overall I do recommend this unit for the garage as it take up very little space.

I absolutely love that this unit can be a refrigerator or freezer. There have been so many times in my life where we run out of either refrigerator or freezer space (especially around the holidays) and wished we had another unit. Having this convertible unit, addressed that concern and am extremely thankful. We got this for our basement as it’s compact, relatively lightweight and easy to maneuver. Even though I may transition to my shop for garage beers at some point. The unit itself comes with 4- glass shelves, LED lighting, easy to read control panel and auto defrost. I appreciate that Vissanni placed the control panel in an accessible location for ease of adjustment and viewing. The glass shelves and interior door bins are removable and can be adjusted to accommodate various goods. The interior and exterior finishes are low maintenance, modern and easy to clean. Freezer/ Refrigerator runs efficiently and silently. Additionally, the door hinge can be installed on the side of your choice. They provide color match plugs for the two un-used door handle holes.

Missing screws to attach the door handle, also the door had 2 dents. Its the little things that make a product suck.

This is a small refrigerator but still the freezer compartment doesn’t cool down past 23 degrees Fahrenheit

So far = GOOD! I just got it a month ago and had to convert it to a fridge because my refrigerator is getting serviced, and that works very well. I'm glad I had it to use. I have not used it yet as a freezer but expect it will be excellent. It is smaller than I thought it would be, but holds a lot! Delivery was outstanding! The delivery person put it right where I wanted it in my garage!!!

I bought this in Sep 2024 and had been delivered with a broken drawer and missing glass shelf. Was told not to bring it back and Home Depot started a warranty claim. I got 3 of the wrong shelves and finally got the drawer and correct shelf Apr 2025. I returned home from a trip and now everything in the freezer is soled since it stopped cooling. I called and they stated since it was over 12 months nothing they could do even though it took 7 months to get the parts. The customer service is not there and it is black and white to them even though they can't deliver on time. DO NOT BUY!

We bought this one year and two weeks ago and it stopped working and we almost lost all of our food. When we called Home Depot they couldn’t do anything because it was 2 weeks beyond the warranty and they gave us Vissani’s number. They also couldn’t do anything and gave us two more phone numbers reaching dead ends. Then I called local appliance repair people and was told they can’t find anywhere to order parts for a Vissani freezer so couldn’t help me. Spend the extra money on a more well known appliance and maybe go with a store with a better warranty.

For the unit - it's perfect and exactly what I needed. I was going to buy two of them, and have one as a fridge and the other as the freezer. except for an issue with a screw. \r\nThere are two screws in the handle that attach it to the door. one was missing. After a quick chat with CSR and then a phone call, several emails, and a promise to ship the screw.. I just received an email requesting more information from a different company and it's been three weeks. for a screw. Unit awesome, CSR bad

This freezer didn't last 9 months. Found hundreds of dollars worth of food defrosted and wasted. Called HomeDepot & even though the ad says "free returns to store" they had me call Vissani. We're now 2 weeks later &STILL no repair person scheduled. They refused to just reimburse us. When I called Vissani AGAIN today I was told "sorry about that, if the repair dept doesn't call you in a few days, call us back".We will never buy this brand again &will advise everyone we can to stay away from them

Worked 8 mo, made noise, stopped cooling, warranty frustration started. Made calls to Galanz. I should receive an email about repair within 48 hrs, then 3 days, now possibly tomorrow. "G is having a large volume of claims". Hmmm, great quality! HD support you ask, haha, non-existent, I have to wait for G. HD should refund my money. Lesson learned, buy appliances from companies that service what they sell. You might get lucky and not have any problems. Purchase at your own risk, good luck.

The freezer itself look easy to operate, but that's not the case. The manual said I can adjust the temperature up and down for freezer and fridge setting, but it is actually all auto, hence the menu and the way this freezer was advertised was quite deceptive. Also as you can see in the picture, they actually shipped me a defective product with a broken piece inside the freezer, rendering us not able to use all of the freezer after receiving it for a month already. Very unacceptable.

Decent product. Way more room than what we replaced. Drawer was broken- home depot replaced. Had to reverse door. Double checked directions. Was completed as directed... bottom right does not seal but still freezes. Just has icing problem because of lack of seal.

This Vissani 11 ft.³ refrigerator or freezer is a great thing to have. This is for our garage and we use it to store long-term food. We buy it portion it out and vacuum packet and put in the freezer. It’s great for storage and it gets really cold sometimes down to below zero. It’s very bright and opened so it’s easy to find things when you put them in there. It’s also easy to clean, and its electronic temperature panel lights up as soon as we open the fridge freezer so I can see exactly what the temperature is. it runs on less electricity than our other freezer. I reversed the door to make it easier to access, and that was simple except after I turned it on, I realized that I did not expand the rubber around the door, and after I did that, it was fine. This is truly a good thing to have.

Horrible. In 15 months the freezer part stopped working. We used it as refrigerator for 5 months then switched to freezer. Started making loud noise at about 10 months and freezer stopped working! Surprise... right after warranty! Don't buy.\nWe purchased as a second refrigerator in our butler's pantry and should have known better! Garbage! \nHome depot and Vissani said to bad so sad.\nStay away.

What a nice Refrigerator or freezer. I am using it as a freezer for now. It can be either or. I saw another review stating that it cant go below 0 degrees F. It actually goes to -8F. It also has a quick freeze mode that stays on for 24 hrs and supposedly goes to -22F. I plugged it in and put it on -4F and selected quick cooling mode and it is cooling off fast. I can't speak for longevity, but as far as a freezer goes, this one has some nice features. Love that it can be a fridge or freezer, love that it vertical with shelves for super easy access. Nice stainless steel w reversible door and handle. Great door shelves for the smaller items. Intuitive controls. Cools quickly, looks nice. Now time will tell, but so far 5 stars and happy.

The Vissani convertible refrigerator is just what the doctor ordered. I have this in my garage which I use to both store meat in the winter, and use it as a refrigerator during the summer. I’m looking to get another one to put side by side in my garage, so that I have one as a refrigerator and one as a freezer. What I really like is that it isn’t too large, or to small. The 11 cu. ft. convertible upright freezer/refrigerator is perfect as an extra cold storage unit. Another great feature is the auto defrost, and child-lock protection features. The stainless steel finish also helps to keep it clean as it wipes down easy. The unit is energy star, and is convertible from freezer (-8°F to 5°F) to fridge (33°F to 45°F).

I bought this Online on 1/30/2025. It stopped working the last week of August. The company Will not replace it, even though it is Obviously a Defective Product. I have spent a week trying to resolve this issue. I will not be shopping at Home Depot since they obviously Do Not Care that their customers are being sold Defective products.

Lasted 5 months. Started making a rattling noise about a month ago and came home today to a half thawed freezer. Lost over $300 in food. Very upsetting! Called galanz and received poor customer service. Never received an email like they mentioned. Said they would send a repair tech out after they receive information .BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Garbage bought 6/30/25 and within 24 hrs wouldn't hold freezing temps, condenser was super loud. Never worked right out of the box!!! After a week we are returning. Now we know why Home Depot has sales! Shame on Home Depot for selling Garbage to keep margins high.

We purchased this freezer from Home Depot 2 years ago. We thought that it would work in the garage... as it says "garage ready". Well, it died this weekend, just under 2 years of ownership. Dont bother with this freezer unless you want to replace it in 2 years.

Bought from Home Depot and in less than 6 months it has stopped working twice. We have lost almost $600 in food stored in this freezer. Repair was made a little over 2 months ago and today it is not freezing again.\nZERO STARS.... I need a refund or reimbursement.

I bought this freezer in February 2025, it lasted until Oct of 2025 when I came home from a brief trip to a freezer full of thawed out wasted food! Now I’m down the original cost of the freezer and about $300 worth of groceries!

I bought this on Christmas and it stopped working on March 10. Fortunately, it was just inside the return window so we got a refune, but after we had to dispose of roughly $400 worth of meat and frozen goods. Do not recommend!

So I have had 2 of these die on me within a year, Home Depot won’t take them back unless you go to the store and get irate. They might work for a fridge but don’t buy this for a freezer. You’ll lose all your meat.
