So far a decent vacuum. It does do as it advertised however, it almost didn’t make it up 13 stairs in my condo/townhome in one go. I charged it for 48 hrs after receiving it so it had a full charge. I didn’t know about the levels of suction so I was on the lower level for the 1st 5 out of 13 stairs. I have two cats so I thought I why not use the higher setting. Well don’t do that. lol. My battery went from being full to empty in a matter of minutes. Which I do understand that high setting will use more battery but wow! So if my math is matching, of my 13 stairs the vacuum only was able to do 8 on high before petering out. I will say that on low, it does a pretty good job. I did have to go over some spots more than once but I think that is more my carpet than the machine so will let that go. My favorite things about it is the dust bin and the fur buster cleaning tool. Mine did get a bit of tangling but nothing I can’t cut before my next use and it would be dealt with. It’s a decent weight. I don’t like the placement of the on button. The way I have to hold it to do the vertical part of my stairs caused me to accidentally shut off the machine. Since the battery was draining I thought oh no! It’s dead. So if you are looking for any feedback in design, place that button elsewhere. Would I buy this again? Absolutely! I hope it lasts. As the price is higher than I normally spend on these gimmicky type of cleaning devices. Oh and also don’t hold your hand over the screw hole while operating in dry winter areas. It will shock you! I got zapped pretty good but my humidifier broke last night so it’s really dry in the house today. But thought I would warn those who don’t like static cling shocks haha. Again not a design flaw just a me flaw, and educating others on how to avoid those things while using the vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dustbuster Advancedclean Handheld Vacuum is great to grab to clean up messes and dust throughout the day. I like that the crevice tool is attached to the vacuum and just requires you to extend it. I do wish it came with a tool for upholstery as well so it would be easier to clean sofas and car seats. It feels great ergonomically in the hand and is well balanced in weight. My favorite aspect of this vacuum is the ability to empty it without having to touch the filter and inside. All you have to do is open the bottom of it to empty. It stands up on its own so it is easy to store in a corner or cabinet. There is one button to turn it on, turn it onto turbo and then turn it off. I like that you don't have to keep holding the button while in use. It definitely sounds powerful and is incredibly loud. The first mode sounds like the level expected of a plug in standup vacuum so it is surprising to come out of a little handheld vacuum. The turbo is a lot louder. Unfortunately, you do have to press the turbo everytime you use the vacuum in order to turn it off so you get a blast of the volume everytime. The tone is almost like a siren. The sound and volume is fine for quick uses but not great if used for a few minutes and not trying to disturb the entire house. I like that the charger is simple without having to store a huge dock. I do wish that it was a usb-c charger so it could be used for multiple devices. Overall, I do find that this vacuum is strong and that I reach for it everyday but would love it more if it had a lower volume.

This does not hold a charge for very long. It also comes with only one battery so you have to share it both tools. I leave it constantly charging. If you unplug it, it loses charge. I edge my grass in my front yard. My yard is very small. I have to immediately place it back on the charger. I can then mow my yard but cannot use the blower just yet because it is still charging. So Im not too happy with it. They are both lightweight tools and when charged do work good but again, the battery doesn't stay charged long enough. I feel the tools are made cheaply. They could easily be broken if not stored. The weedeater also replenishes by itself so no need to "tap" it on the ground when more string is needed but I'm not sure how to replace it when needed. I wish atleast two batteries were supplied and I wish the charge would last longer. Otherwise, if you have a small yard these will do. But not a large yard. And I would not be able to complete my front and back yard on the same day because charging takes forever. I charged it the first time and it took over 4 hours to get a full charge. I used the blower once and then the battery had to be recharged again already.

This vacuum is pretty good, but it has an unfortunate design flaw: there is no way to turn the vacuum off without first turning the vacuum to its highest-powered mode, which terrifies my cat. The vacuum has three modes: low power, high power, and off. The power button simply cycles between those three modes. Therefore, there is no way to turn the vacuum off without first turning on high power mode, which is very loud and terrifies my cat. There should be a way to turn it off directly from the low power mode. The low power mode is very quiet, does not bother my cat, and cleans very well for my needs. If they were to fix that design flaw, I would give it 5 stars.

Only used twice, but very happy with this vac. Nice size, balance, and looks. Suction is very good. The power head is easy on/off, and works very well. Have only ran this for less than 5 minutes, but that didn't drain much at all. Charging time is as expected. Really only one small con-the small plug to the vac is small and requires you to line it up to the vac just one way. Once the one way orientation becomes clear it's not a issue, but attention to this detail must be know when recharging. I would recommend this vac. Can't speak for the long term, but Black&Decker is a good named brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the dustbuster handheld vaccum for just about everywhere in my home, small corners, my couch, stairs you name it. It has 3 speeds low, high and medium the suction on low doesnt pick up everything, but medium and high speeds do so i would keep it on those. It picks up everything from cereal to marbles and to empty all you have to do is remove the back end and dumb. It also holds a pretty good charge so it can be used for quit some time. I would definitely recommend this dustbuster.

After years of carrying a regular vacuum cleaner up and down the stairs, I decided to buy a small, hand held model. I really like the ease with which this one works for the stairs. It also works well for quick clean up on the carpet in the room where the ‘boys’ have their litter boxes.\n\nMy only complaint is the noise. It has a really high pitched sound especially in the highest setting. But the noise is a minor inconvenience compared with the ease of use on the wooden stairs. I also use it for quick clean up in other rooms, too.

Great product, as you’d expect from B&D. Lots of suction - I rarely need to use the high power mode. Love the extendable nose like Pinocchio. Just two suggestions for improvement:
1. The little power plug is annoying. Takes both hands to either insert or tremor it, and a good hard push or pull. I was looking for a small vacuum to do my upholstery and the carpet on the stairs. This has good power to do that, which was what I was really looking for. One issue I've had is that the power nozzle stops spinning when you pull back on the vacuum sometimes. The clasps dont seem to be strong enough. And I do wish the power nozzle was flexible rather than being stationary. But overall, I"m pretty happy with my purchase based on the options out there for cordless hand vacuums.

It's lightweight & easier than dragging out the large vac. Watched video reviews before purchasing & people are a tad more excited about it than it deserves. Mine is mainly used for the carpet under a high human bed and (crevice tool only) collecting the "hair bunnies" that gather daily on the hard floor in corners & along baseboards. My main issue is a super annoying design flaw; the opening where stuff enters the dust canister is next to the internal washable filter cylinder, with little gap between. Hair almost always traps right at the entrance, clogging the opening (not filling up the bin) & reducing suction to non-productive. So I often have to stop & clear it a hair clump at a time. My dog is a German Shepherd cross, so maybe this is specific to longer hair, but pretty tragic for a "pet" vacuum. This replaced and aging Dyson cordless. Still true that you get proportional performance to what you pay in vacuum technology.

Removes fur well enough, maneuverable enough for stairs, lasts about a long as I need for two flights of stairs. Wish the cleaning nozzle or brush roll tool had an adjustable angle; it's awkward to tilt the entire machine with its canister and battery to get the angle you need. The nozzle is also completely custom, so you can't use any other vacuum accessories with it.

This is a nice machine. It has good power and makes hair disappear. The brush attachment goes deep and finds hair and the crevice tool is efficient and nice that it extends. It saves my \nback.\nCons: The canister is too small and requires frequent emptying and the battery doesn't last long enough. \nAll in all, it does the job very well.

This was a replacement for our older unit that has been a workhorse with no problems. The first time I used the new unit and cleaned it out the interior "door" came off. It was very difficult to replace and it noticeably not as substantial as the older unit where this never happened. I doubt this will last as long as our first.

Very good purchase. My only complaint is: The nozzle is so narrow. To have it wider you must fit the "pet" adaptor to the nozzle which adds a bit of time to the process. That's no big deal except it would be more convenient to start off with a wider intake.

I use this for my cat's litter and dry food around their litter boxes/food stations; it picked up but I wish it had done better. It doesn't seem to have strong suction. Also the filter gets clogged/dusty very quickly. It's ok but not as heavy-duty as expected.
