Only had them for a few days. Concerned that someone stealing my car with SmartTag2 onboard will be able to pick up that they're being tracked, and then make it beep so they can locate it. Needs answers from Samsung (not publicly, but only available in paper instructions, and not online) if this is an issue, or how they stop it being an issue? If it has time delay before notifying thief, giving time to tag as lost, to avoid notifying thief? Who knows? Love the functionality. Need yet to test its reliability. Will do this week. Does every Samsung phone that gets close to it, collect location data from it, or only those with smart things loaded and option to "help" people track/locate turned on? Really needs more robust outer holder for robust dog collar. Don't want it to be a chew toy for another dog. Also active swimming/rough and tumble dogs might be a bit hard on it as it is. As they are with anything.

Been using since Tag 1 and now Tag 2, no more lost house keys and car keys. \nHave more than 10 tags in total.\nWith the extra loop at the end of Tag 2, I can hook my keys to it. \nLooking forward to a slim version.\nNot sure why so many -ve reviews? This product is a life saver and I do hope Samsung continues to develop on this, despite all these negative reviews that doesn't seem to make sense.\nJust tested a few tags again just to make sure and they work.\nOnly complaint is the find my tag sometimes receives strange "ghost signals" which detects a tag that isn't there. Not often but it does.

Bought this for my mother-in-law's cat. She is an older kitty that is used to coming and going as she pleases. Kitty is now forced to stay indoors because of her age and physical health. She has gotten out a couple of times causing a great deal of stress to my MIL. She now has this easy to set up and track device just in case she gets out again or is hiding under the bed.

The tag is small and easy to setup. Just a couple minutes after receiving i has it hooked to my phone. range is actually a little better then i expected after reading other reviews, about 80 is best guess. Not crazy about the tracking function. it shows a large pin on the map so just pretty much tells you its at or near the address. Would love it if it was a more precise. Overall im happy with the tracker.

The SmartTag 2 tracker is great that it offers a reliable way to locate a lost pet. It offers a rugged build great battery life, but it does lack compatibility with other smart phones like an IPHONE which does make it a significant drawback for many to purchase this item. It should have multiple compatibilities for users.

Attaching this has given me such peace of mind. \nThe alert volume when trying to locate my key fob could be considerably louder, but that could possibly just be my phone setting. ill have to check. Considering a replacement fob is around $500, I feel much better now that I have this option

Works well for me for the past year or so.\nI have them in each of my kids cars, but they need to be in an external position such as inside the tail light etc or the metal door blocks them.\nTracked my luggage well internationally.\nKids driving around Hamilton, Auckland, Rotorua.\nThey require nearby samsung phones to track, a major drawback.

I like thar you can track when you take your pet for a walk. How far you walked, time it took to take walk. Notifications if you are not near the smart tag. However one time the smart tag came off my pet collar but it came off on the bed. My dog and I went out for the day. I had not received any notifications about my smart tag being out of range. I just happened to notice it was missing, logged into the app to check it. It had me looking literally on the street. Then sent me to a strangers home. Most embarrassing and dangerous in this day and age. So the actual accuracy of the smart tag has me questioning it's reliability.

Bought this few weeks ago and it's very useful for me on tracking my keys and wallet. The design is slim and handy, has matte feeling texture and a legit water-resistant tag! This is a must-have Samsung users who ocassionally being foregtful for their small but very important things.

I used the Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 Bluetooth Tracker Dog Pet Finder on my large breed Dog's collar. It was easy to connect to my phone. I liked the "find" alert. I live on a oversized property and the when I used the mapping feature to locate my dog it was off by direction and at least a 100 feet. Maybe it is because of the rural location but I do not think this would be very good at pin pointing where he is if he got lost but it could be better then having nothing.
