Got exactly what I ordered faster than expected. This is the CD version of Windows 10 OEM so I used Windows Creation tool and just used a USB to install Windows. Used the activation key that came with this and it worked. This is the cheapest OEM version I found online so I'm happy with what I got.

BUT when they cut the 'fat' from Windows Vista to make 7, they made an OS that was all things to all geeks, and Joe's alike. An OS which still looked pretty, with it's aero glass interface, but was toned down just enough to run nicely on Mr Average's PC - Great Job Microsoft. Along came Windows 8 (and 8.1) which even I thought was a disaster. The GUI looked far too simple, I hated the solid coloured tiles. The interface looked like it had been designed by a child. BUT I could see Microsoft's marketing strategy...... They had decided to start manufacturing their own hardware, which was going to have a specific build and therefore the GUI had to be detuned to suit. And they had also developed Windows RT for the ARM CPU, which maybe are great in your smartphone, but if you want fancy graphics, stick to an x86 CPU with a discreet graphics card. Windows 10 is a reasonable attempt at merging the best parts of windows 8.1 with windows 7. The graphics are still reasonably simple but nice enough not to be offputting to a geek such as myself. But windows 10 brings other features to the table such as better security as standard, the latest build has anti-ransomware features built in. I also like it's magical ability to be able to reinstall itself on demand to the last build without having to make up recovery partitions. How it works is magical (and I wrote my own OS recovery software for Windows Vista/7). I would say the main downsides are with this OS is that, if you leave the privacy settings unaltered, you will find Microsoft been able to spy on your every move while logged on to the PC. I also still don't like Microsoft edge. There are still some websites which do not work at all with this browser. But all in all, it's a pretty fine OS, for a Windows OS. I think we would all love the safety and security of Linux or a Mac OS but, until they make their OS's more compatible with the Windows eco-system (which won't happen) we are stuck in this symbiotic relationship. After years of faithful service my old desktop - running VIsta - became too difficult to use since support for the old OS is gone now. I did try - just as I begun grad school - to continue after many years in the PC Windows world to buy a new PC laptop in 2013. I had a HUGE stack of books on my reading list for school and that laptop - running Windows 8 - was a nightmare. I simply didn't want to take a moment of time to learn how to use things I already knew how to use with Microsoft Office so I took that Win 8 laptop RIGHT back to the store and instead purchased my first new Mac.\n\nI swore off anything new from Windows after that...\n\nMy old desktop however good it might have been a few years ago, just became obsolete. I purchased a new Mac Mini, but at work my job gives us a free install of Windows Office for home use. One of the things I like having at my disposal is Microsoft Publisher. I also use a lot of other graphics software but for those of us who use graphics frequently publisher has it's benefits.\n\nSO I purchased Parallels to run Windows on my desktop (and my Mac Laptop too) but needed to have the Windows Operating system to use it.\n\nThis product works very very well! Windows 10 installed easily on my Mac with Parallels. Since I'd never tried using 2 different OS on a computer I was concerned about the process but everything worked well together seamlessly.\n\nThe bonus for me is that with two monitors, I can have BOTH operating systems open side by side while I work. The price was great and the seller started communication ahead of my asking for any assistance.\n\nAll in all one of the best tech software purchases I've made in a long time.\n\nI'm considering buying a second one to upgrade an older Win 7 laptop and my dear old Vista desktop. Both of those also contain perpetual software that I don't want to lose, which is the downside of considering an upgrade on older Windows machines.\n\nGreat price for Windows 10 and an easy install make this a really great purchase.

Well, I burned out the main board of my nearly new MacBook Pro late 2019 that advertised game play ability with its dedicated on board graphics card and 16 gb of RAM. I play World of WarCraft, but this 3200 dollar “PRO” MacBook couldn’t handle it over a 6 month time span of moderate play. Playing this not so stressing game caused 1000 dollars worth or repair damage. JUST SAYIN’!\n\nSo I needed a dedicated PC to play my favorite game, and that meant Windows 10. I chose Windows 10 PRO because I wanted the added security of encryption (by the way, if you plan on using Adobe cloud based software, it doesn’t like encryption...at least on my repaired MacBook...just sayin’).\n\nSo I am pleased with the Windows 10 pro software. I swore off windows years ago (like Vista age) because it was buggy and cantankerous. That was like...early 2000s. In 2020, Windows 10 is ok. Mac OS is still way more intuitive, BUT...Windows 10 allows for a lot of nuanced adjustments to my newly built Gaming Rig (which I LOVE). The ability to adjust my software perimeters I find interesting and fun to do, and it is not as much of a headache with Windows 10 PRO 2019 as it was with all versions of Window - 95 thru Vista which is when I last used Windows OS.\n\nThe Install on my Asus mother board and Samsun 970 Plus M.2 drive was EEEEZY and not a hitch. I have updated windows, and aside from my mouse sometimes not being recognized at boot up, it all works as it ought to (unplugging my mouse and then plugging it back in does the trick...a little bit of a bother, but not worth having a justice warrior melt down over).\n\nI attribute the mouse thing to a software conflict somewhere...its a Corsair saber gaming mouse. I never had this sort of issue with Mac OS, BUT I DID WITH MY VERY LAST PC RUNNING VISTA...so, I’m older now...and the little things can be let go of especially if I get to play WORLD OF WARCRAFT. The problem only occurs at boot up, and it only happens 1/10 times, so...(eh...shrug).\n\nI hope this is helpful.

So this came in a very official looking MS OEM envelope. The disk and OEM code both said Win10pro so just for fun I decided to do a full Reload. The DVD installs win10home and after install had a very sketchy copy of Win 10 home running. It was already activated, that was very scary. Updates would not work and you could not change the desktop look and feel. So I reloaded from a known good USB drive and used the OEM code. IT WORKED! I was very surprised. So throw the disk away and use a known good installer.

It took me a long time to get it to setup on my computer, cause it is an older one most likely. But every time it restarted there was a blank screen and nothing happening, which ment it had to be restarted a lot more times then any windows that I have ever put on before, eventually it went through to windows pro 10. But still had problems cause it kept saying there was a problem with my drives and wanting to fix and scan them, which some of them it wanted to take hours doing !!!It took me a long time to get it to setup on my computer, cause it is an older one most likely. Some of the negatives are the name changes for the regularly used functions and programs as well as initial finding of most common uses of PCs. These include names like (programs now apps) While similar in definition it is not a term typical for computers more oriented for phone and other small mobile devices. Finding control panel, or items that use to be in My computer are now in File Explorer or other areas. You will eventually find what your looking for but maybe developers should have asked non-IT businesses what they thought of the name and operational changes, they may have come up with better more user friendly product.Read full review…

This is NOT a Microsoft product and your website by its silence on the matter would lead you to believe that it was. (this product was made by 'Computer Werx') Along with the produot you get 2 sheets of troubleshooting help. THAT should tell you all you need to know. I was facing the rebuild of an old Dell laptop computer (Vostro 2008), I planned to use infrequently. I read that Windows 10 could breath new life into aging systems, but I wasn't about to spend $119 dollars to find out. This offer seemed the perfect solution for my circumstances. Paul sent the license almost immediately after purchasing, and the installation was easy. Thank you for helping me resurrect an old trusted system. It is running faster than ever!

Easy enough only problem is after installing and setting up Microsoft updated even if you don't want them, appears you are not able to turn them off.\nThe update informs you that your version of Windows is nearing the end of support and proceeds to install an updated version which takes a while after which my computer crashed and I had to start all over . I am as still trying to avoid unnecessary updates apart from all that it's still a great way to get windows 10 and I would buy again, good way to bring old computers back to life.\n\n

Worked like a dream, I had just done a major hardware upgrade, invalidating my previous license (down to me messing up and not linking to my microsoft account before i did the upgrade). All you do is go to Start Menu Settings, Update & Security, Activation then Change Product Key and simply copy in the key you recive via email and viola. Though make sure you have Windows Pro installed first.

An Actual Compact Disc with a new Microsoft activation code included. Much better than the newer Windows in my opinion since many of the features are no longer available and requires an internet connection to do an install. Better privacy options using Windows 10 where you can choose what you want to be monitored on your system. A must buy on a new computer build.

WalMart should not be outsourcing software sales to BuyBox Solutions, Inc. They evidently reuse Product Keys, and my purchase was useless when Windows Update installed Genuine Windows Authentication. That software found my compromised Product Key and declined to activate my Window 10 installation. \n\nDo NOT purchase Microsoft software from WalMart!

I'm not a fan of downloaded software. Very inconvenient. This has a DVD. I wipe my machine reghlarly to keep performance up. Apps tend to accumulate and sap performance. Win10/works well for me, as good as 7 and far better than 8. Waiting to see how it adapts. New features come without the need for a new opporating system.

Everything OK, the product key works and the Windows OS is validated correctly according to the instructions. \n\nNOTE that the key is valid for one activation only - if you modify your PC or reinstall the OS you need to buy another one.

Very easy to use, but only with a fresh install of Windows 10. I had Windows to go on my laptop and that was really difficult to get rid of. I was running my hard drive as a USB drive to get a free copy of Windows 10 (Don't do it!!!)

Inexpensive way to update an older laptop to Windows 10 with a genuine license from Microsoft. Laptop now runs like new again and is not loaded down with all the bloated software added over the years.

Installed and Authenticated without any problems at all. Did exactly what I was expecting to do other than being on a usb drive instead of a DVD but we all have to get with the “times” I suppose.

Like most Microsoft products, this is designed for the expert and not the home user. That said, one is forced to use it. Having stated thgat, it is better than any alternative product.
