4 1/2 stars. I was looking for a solid, elegant-looking lift-top desk for my home office and the Realyn Home Office Lift Top Desk fills the bill, for the most part. The desk arrived three months after I put in my order. It was fairly straightforward to put together (thankfully, the lift-top is already installed) - just screw in the legs. I did need the assistance of my roommate to lift it out of the box and move upright. The desk is heavier than expected (solid: good). I love the look and idea of the desk. The only reason I don't give it a five-star rating is that I'm only able to lift the top if I remove most of the items off the lid, due to the weight of my monitor; then there is the matter of my computer cords, potentially getting caught when I put the lid down (which is fairly heavy and somewhat worrisome if it will collapse); however, that's really not the fault of the desk - if I didn't have my monitor and used my laptop, only, then it would be more manageable. If I had to do it all over again, I would probably save $100 and purchase the non-lift top version with the pullout, keyboard tray (and use it for extra storage). I also find the height of the desk a bit tall for me when standing (I'm 5 foot 2). Other than that, it's an aesthetically-pleasing, substantial, high-quality desk.
