I searched high and low for a counter height extendable table, they are not easy to find. But so happy I found this set! The color is exactly what I wanted. I like taller tables, I just feel they are more comfortable to sit at, but also needed a table that would extend during the holidays to fit my family. Had to wait a few months for these to arrive, but was worth the wait!\n\nThe finish on the wood is really nice, the color is a soft brown and has a little distressing on it which will help hide any scratches that may happen in the future. The table pulls out on both sides to add a 1' extension to comfortably seat 8, 10 if you get cozy. The chairs are very solid, well made and heavy, not in a bad way just doesn't feel cheap and chinsy. The material on the cushions is a nice and neutral color, kind of oatmeal. Everything was easy to assemble, my hubby did have to redrill two holes on the bottom of the table to line up, but wasn't a big deal for us. I am an interior designer so I am a tad picky about my home and the finishes in it. I am very pleased with this set, the look, the quality and the fact I will be able to keep this set for a very long time. Very happy with our purchase and highly recommend! Love it!!!
