[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this vacuum! It has great suction, it moves nicely, and is fairly lightweight. The carpets look great when I'm done and it works well on bare floor too. The floor brush base is compact and slim, so it fits in between and under furniture well and the pivot ability makes it really easy to maneuver. It was easy to put together and the hose handle detaches easily to use the tools. The canister also detaches to get to higher places, but it's not really necessary since the floor brush is so small, it's easier to just pick the whole thing up. I do wish it included more tools such as a soft bristle attachment or a rotating brush for carpet. The upholstery tool doesn't do much on cut-pile carpet, so it's not useful on my stairs, but since the whole unit is easy to pick up I just do it that way and the stairs look great. I also wish the plug cord was a little longer, like my old vacuum, but everything else makes it worth it.

This is a super heavy duty one that makes a world of a difference. The suction is great as you can see in my video, it picks up all the fuzz from my dogs toys and the hair you can’t see in the carpet (shown in after pic of vacuum) I vacuum once a week and it gets this bad! But my shark navigator is here to save the day and make it look brand spankin new. The setup is nice as well, you keep the extra parts on the vacuum itself, so no missing pieces ever! 10/10 recommend for anyone looking for a new vacuum. Or even if you weren’t thinking of a new one, go for it! Like I mentioned previously I thought my other one was doing the job but it was absolutely not. And did not realize until I got this shark navigator.

It’s super lightweight, easy to move around, and has great suction. I was actually surprised by how much dust and hair it picked up the first time I used it (kind of gross but also satisfying).\n\nThe canister is really easy to empty, and I like that it doesn’t lose suction as you go. It works great on both carpet and hard floors, though it’s not the best for getting under super low furniture since the design’s a bit bulky. It's nice and light and moves easily. It seems to have all the power I could need. The cord is too short. I used to be able to plug my Dyson in in the kitchen and use it all over the first floor, even reaching into the sunporch, but the Shark definitely can't do that. The way the cord wraps up on the wand part is also somewhat ill-placed. Lifting the wand away from the rest of the machine isn't super intuitive, but I managed it. I got to investigate cordless models because I absolutely hate stepping on a cord barefoot!

Love the vacuum, only problem is the cord is short we have long areas that we need a longer cord and this cord is too short. Also the vacuum has excellent suction possibly too much! On rugs that don't have any backing it actually gets caught in the beater brushes constantly even without the beater brush being used the suction is so great that it sucks the carpet into the area and makes it so you have to pull the carpet out of the beater brush area. Otherwise this vacuum is excellent.

Putting it together was so easy just follow the instructions and you'll be good! I used it in my room after just vacuuming with my bissell and it picked up soo much more my carpets are super old but dang they look so good! Easy to use the lift away feature is super nice and convenient to get under furniture and hard to reach places. The rotating when pushing it is 10/10 makes things so much easier. As long as you use it the right way it isn't hard to push it glides super easy and gets EVERYTHING! It's a little on the heavier side to carry but not bad at all. It's seriously such a good vacuum for this price! Every feature on it is convenient and works amazing! If you're on the fence and not sure I'm telling you to get this thing it's perfection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While baking cookies my children spilled flour on the floor.. normally I’d grab my cordless vacuum of choice but wanted to try out the new Shark vacuum. Safe to say it got the job done. My favorite feature is actually the attachment holder. It’s a unique design that makes it and easy to put them on and store them when not in use. Product assembly took me less than 2min and the vacuum was ready to go!

Just to clarify, I got this after my 7 year old Black Friday Dirt Devil forgot how to suck. So upgrading to anything would have wowed me. However, this vacuum actually makes my apartment smell cleaner after using it? You can control the suction on the handle, it took up so much hidden dust in the carpet on the first use and now it’s just hair and more hair. I love it. The canister is a bit annoying because hair will have to be manually scooped out. If the suction is on high, it can be a workout to use. Finally, as a 5’4 guy, it’s a tall vacuum. Takes a bit of practice to work the attachment (or detachment?) but it’s so nice to be able to use it on the walls and surfaces. \n\nI like it. And I think you’ll like it.

I had this model of shark vacuum for years and absolutely love it! Small, light, easy to navigate around things, great suction, cleans out well. It is still running great, but I thought I would give it to my son for his apartment and replace it with a new one for myself. The new one feels just slightly less powerful on suction. That is why I only gave it four stars. It is still good, and I like it, just liked the old one a bit better.

Easy and intuitive to assemble and use. Very powerful suction; other reviewers have mentioned it's TOO powerful. Turns out that on low-knap carpet, the strong suction is great (it lifted a lot of small debris left behind by my old upright), but if when the carpet has a low shag to it, the suction makes it hard to move! For bare floor, there is a switch to turn off the brush--this is GREAT, since it prevents the vacuum from kicking particles around (this was especially a problem with my old vacuum around the litterbox!). Be advised that the only tool attachment that comes with the vacuum is a crevice tool. If you want additional tools (e.g., brush, upholstery attachment), they can be ordered separately.

I have had the swivel steering Shark Navigator for 4 years now maybe 5 and I have learned how to completely dismantle this vac to deep clean it. The first one I got, my son messed up the cord and I refused to get a different vacuum and thank god I found the same one the same day. I’ve used bissells and even have a $3000 Kirby and I still love my Shark Navigator. I really want a cordless Shark so it’s easier to use to clean my car out. If someone could tell me which one compares to my navigator I would appreciate it. I have a dog with fine hair %26 have always relied on Shark products to keep the floors super clean by using Shark vacuums like this upright vacuum since 2016. If you get it cleaned %26 serviced it will last a long time! I gave my first vacuum away to a neighbor when I moved %26 purchased this one. It's very easy to use! The push factor is not an issue for me personally, however I'm 5'10", so someone who is shorter my find this a disadvantage. \n\nThe photo shows after I moved into my new apartment what the rug cleaning company left behind, yes they did a bad job, however as always it pulled white carpet powder out that was there!

Another wonderful and powerful product from Shark. I always thought that my previous vacuum cleaned my floors well. Boy, was I wrong. I used this vacuum, and you would not believe the dirt it picked up. I had just done my carpet with my old vacuum and then right away used this vacuum. I actually did my carpet, emptied the dirt canister, then vacuumed more and was still pulling up dirt and dog hair. I was absolutely shocked and amazed. The value of this to me was earned that very 1st day. I love doing stairs and having the lift away canister. It's amazing not having to lug old vacuum upstairs. I am very happy.

The vacuum works great, a little too great to be honest. I can not use it on my floor rugs I have in my living room and hallway, it is too powerful and will only shut off as if something is stuck in the bottom. I have had to continue using my old vacuum on those rugs which is annoying. Besides that it works fine.

The vacuum works well. The hose is not long enough in my opinion. You can't reach very far without the vacuum falling over because the length just isn't very long. I also had to buy a brush attachment for the hose so I could use this on my baseboards. I should have researched all these things better.

I'm still learning how to use it. It came without instructions and I miss a dusting tool.\nI had a vacuum without a cord before so figuring the length of the cord is different. The power is excellent and I look forward to being able to vacuum my curtains which my last equipment didn't do.

The swivel steering makes guiding a bit easier. Only 2 settings for pile depth. Detachment for stairs awkward. Best for smaller areas as kind of narrow but good suction. Collection tank fills quickly. Good for small apartments. Detachment for stairs/furniture not great. sort of ackward.

Well this rug was caked with dust ,dirt and cotton check out left- before and right - after . This rug had a lot of suction. There is no dust smell but I feel this is a pricey vacuum still to me. But just beware dirty cup to empty just like any Bayless. That'said reason I gave 4.

Nice vacuum, disappointing the shark didn't came with stair attachment. The vacuum came with a small crevice tool and basic upholstery tool. Basic attachments for the vacuum. Had I known this shark didn't come with better attachments I probably wouldn't have bought it.

Excellent vacuum suction. Easy for me to clean canister. It took me a little while to get the hang of controlling the dial that adjust the suction. I also really like the lift out option for cleaning my carpeted stairs. I'm glad I bought this vacuum.

This is such a nice vacuum for the price. It is so powerful that it sucks up all of the dust, hair, dirt and crumbs. It's a little harder for kids to push on carpet if they want to help vacuum, but that's okay, with time they will get used to it too. The other downfall is that if you have kids with long hair that gets on the carpet, it eventually goes around the roller of the bottom of the vacuum and gets stuck, so having to use a scissors and cut it out every now and then is a must to preserve the life the vacuum.

This vacuum works really well! I use it on carpet and on our hard floors. It’s easy to clean afterwards and place back on. It can also detach from the top for hard to reach areas! It is a bit heavy but still easy to move around.

Assembly was very easy love the swivel head. I have wooden floors and just area rugs, it is easier to push than my other vacuum but still somewhat difficult on some rugs depending on their nap and thickness I guess

Good suction. A little difficult to clean out. Hard to get attachments all the way under my bed. Angle on pet hair removal brush isn’t quite right for that. Not great for me because car sleeps under bed a lot!

Very high quality product with excellent suction (particularly for pet hair) and very easy-empty canister. Would have given it 5 stars except a little heavier than my wife expected.

Works great, only complaint is that the cord wraps around the detachable handle and the base, so you have to unravel the entire cord if you want to only carry the base.
