I have been noticing Battery Tender products for several years and I always considered them to be overpriced considering similar competing products. Regardless, after reviewing other chargers I bought this one. Well after receiving it I used it to charge three of my smaller batteries. It worked very well, indicated charge status throughout the process and entered the Float/Maintenance charge status at the end of the main cycle. It is made completely in the US and I have to say that despite the almost double price compared to other automatic chargers I am completely satisfied. The unit has a very compact, well built, US made feel to it. I have no regrets and do recommend it to anyone who wants to charge smaller batteries (Lawn Tractors, Motorcycles, and similar sized batteries) with no reservations.

Based on proven experience of the 20 year old battery tender (that still works without any issues in use every year), just cant step away from the brand or their top-notch maintenance and charging technology. The selectable options on this advance its capabilities not only for motorcycle batteries, but also for other house hold needs - to help future proof the expenditure. Some people note there are cheaper knock off brands out there, but a battery tender isn't what everyone calls them coincidence, they earned the title, spend a little extra for the advanced tech and longevity of a quality product.

Since the pandemic, my wife has hardly driven her Lexus RX350. I try to take it out once a week to the store but that's not really enough charging time. We had to replace the battery twice because of this. I bought Battery Tender Plus charger and let it charge overnight. The next day it was completely charged and stayed charged. People have to understand it's not a quick charger, it's more of a maintaining charge. I understand people with car collections use chargers like this to maintain their car batteries while they are parked in storage for long periods of time.

I bought one of these units long ago when I had to replace my batteries in my 2000 Ford F-350SD w/7.3 diesel which takes two 12 volt batteries. I don't use the truck much and without the Battery Tender the batteries get very weak and a few times completely dead. I never had that problem again after I started using the Battery Tender, the batteries are ready to go everytime because of the float maintenance charge system built into the charger. So I went ahead and bought one for my son-in-law. We both only use our trucks about every other month.

This is my second unit. I use the first unit on my snow thrower's gel battery. I plug in the battery tender a day or two before snow is expected or every several weeks between snows until the battery is fully charged. \n\nI plan to use the new, second unit on my idle vehicle's flooded battery as I don't drive the van in snowy conditions. The van can sit idle for three weeks at a time. I want the van to start if needed at the drop of a pin—not waiting 2-3 hours to charge with a 10 amp charger.

I already own one of these and bought a second one for a spare battery. Both batteries are way past their expected expiration date, and they keep going with the help of these reliable battery maintainers. At only 1.25 amps, I do use a different charger to fully charge the battery first. I could have bought the 4 amp charger / maintainer, but I do not want the charger to inadvertently switch to higher amps on a battery going bad. I have had a battery fail while being maintained.

My motorcycle battery lasted eleven years because I used a Deltran Battery Tender on it. I highly recommend These Deltran Battery Tenders. I use it to pre charge my new batteries before installation. Then I connect the included easy hookup cabling when I install the battery so I can plug the Tender in. Very good gadget for batteries that don't get used often. It automatically shifts from charging to float current, so you don't have to worry. Get one you won't regret it.

Although I haven't used this charger I do have the dual charger model for my two trolling motor batteries. It works great. I left is on the batteries all to keep them fully charged all summer long. That's why I purchased the this one for my starting battery. I can leave it hooked up and never have to worry about getting to the lake with a weak or dead battery.\n\nHighly recommend these chargers for your boat or RV.

I think this is such an amazing product! I have a 2012 Jeep Wrangler that I don't drive every day so I bought this to keep the battery charged. This is especially important since I live in Minnesota and during winter months the bitter cold can drain the battery overnight. What's amazing is Walmart completely and utterly destroyed Amazon on the price!! If you need this product - you NEED it from Walmart!

I now own three (3) Battery Tender Plus chargers and two(2) Schumaker 1.5 amp chargers. I like the Battery Tender Plus chargers the best. They were slightly more expensive but they are all metal vs. plastic. They also have both a red "charging" light and a green "charged" light. Box says it has a 10 year warranty although there is nothing in the directions about the warranty.

I bought battery tender to keep the charge up on my class c motorhome. I use to have to start it up at least once a week to keep it charged up and ready to go whenever I need too. Now, I just keep it plugged in and it will keep it charge up all the time. I would definitely recommend this product for charging your batteries.

We purchased the battery tender for our vehicle that has to stay outside year-round. The battery on that vehicle does not last as long as the warranty period. We have been happy with the tender so far. It charges the battery and then keeps it charged with a trickle of electricity regularly. We recommend it.
