I'll split this review into two parts: the vacuum itself and the seller, Bissell Commercial (Edmar Floor Care). The vacuum is fine but noisier than I expected. The listing said 69 decibels but the label on the box when I received it said 82 decibels (see pic). I immediately contacted Bissell customer service (which is very responsive) and they said they weren't aware that the label said that and that their knowledge was that it was 69 decibels. They said just try it and if you don't like it, return it.\n\nThat's when my problems started. I tried it and didn't like it because of the noise level. I was replacing an old noisy vacuum so this was a key consideration for me. I tried returning it but the Bissell customer service people didn't know how to initiate a return. They said to call Walmart directly. Walmart said they wouldn't initiate returns from third party sellers. I was stuck so I just told my credit card company and initiated a chargeback until Bissell could tell me what to do. I'm still waiting on the answer from Bissell more than a month later. \n\nThe vacuum itself is good. It isn't a sealed vacuum so even if you buy good hepa filters and bags there will be points where air escapes. If you have allergies, it's probably not a good choice. It's lightweight, has a long cord, and is John Deere green. It's easy to service and access the bags and belts too.\n\nMy advice here is to only buy this if you really think it's the right vacuum. Otherwise, returning it is probably not going to work.
