The first time paper fed through the tray, it pulled like 20 pages and jammed them up pretty good, but I cleared the jam, reloaded the paper tray, and haven't had that problem again since. Printing from my phone is super simple and works great. I must say this is a loud printer (at least compared to my last one). The print quality and speed are both good, but there is a long spooling lag when sending print jobs from my desktop. In fact, I've encountered several printer errors when printing directly from apps (Adobe, Word, etc.) & web pages from my computer. It seems to work better when I send print jobs through the HP Smart app, but who wants to exit or minimize their document and open a separate app every time they need to print? I may try deleting and reinstalling the printer from my desktop computer, as this may just be some quirk, but I haven't had the opportunity to try that yet. Scanning works flawlessly, which is important in my line of work. The jury is still out as to whether I can work out the kinks with my desktop computer, but so far I'm satisfied with this printer.

Overall, I am very pleased with how it performs day-to-day, though the initialization process took a little patience.\n\nThe Setup Experience\nUnboxing the printer was straightforward, but the physical setup does require a bit of space since it has a fairly substantial footprint. When you first turn it on, the printer goes through a lengthy internal calibration cycle and makes some pretty loud mechanical banging noises. Don't alarm yourself—it's just adjusting the ink cartridges, but it definitely sounds like it's working hard.\n\nConnecting to my local network via the HP Smart app on my phone was relatively smooth, though I found navigating the tiny 2.7-inch color touchscreen on the unit a bit tedious. The on-screen alphanumeric characters are small, so entering a long Wi-Fi password requires precise finger positioning. Once it was finally linked up, the dual-band self-healing Wi-Fi proved to be incredibly stable and hasn't dropped the connection once, even when printing large files from the opposite side of the house.\n\nDay-to-day, this thing is a total workhorse and prints shockingly fast. Black-and-white text for documents and bills comes out incredibly sharp honestly, it looks just as crisp as a laser printer. I've printed off a few colored pages and documents too, and the colors look great with zero smudging or ink bleeding, even on cheap, standard paper. The 35-sheet automatic document feeder and the auto double-sided printing make scanning or copying a stack of paperwork completely hands-off, and I haven't had a single paper jam yet. Plus, the main paper tray holds a ton of paper, so I'm not constantly stopping to reload it.\n\nFinally,\nJust keep in mind that it uses HP' to buy original HP ink cartridges, though I just signed up for their Instant Ink trial to avoid dealing with that for now. It's also a little noisy when it first wakes up to start a print job, but it prints so fast that it's not a huge deal. Overall, if you need a reliable, fast printer for a home office that can handle a lot of paperwork without any hassle, this is an excellent choice and feels like it's built to last.

I've had mostly good experience with HP printers however the earlier models (10 years back) were more solidly built and didn't use as much plastic. My previous HP 8025 and this current 9125e, the paper trays are very flimsy in my opinion... if not careful when pulling them to load paper, you could break the end of the tray which I did on my previous 8025 model. I also don't like the fact that there isn't a paper adjusting slider inside the tray in the front of both these models, only for the sides of the paper (not a plus). The biggest complaint about this 9125e model is how LOUD it is each time it's sits idle and when you're ready to print something... it goes thru it's automatic cartridge adjustment internally and is makes a very loud banging sound like there's something ready to go inside! Would be nice to have a "quiet" printer... this model by far is the loudest I've had but everything runs as it should, color quality is reasonable, digital display is a nice, visible size. I did refer to YouTube for help setting up this printer to my WiFi... found a good tutorial that was much easier to follow than the info from HP's website.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only ever owned HP printers and feel this one fits well with the brand. I love all of the features that this printer has. It is a copy/fax/scanner/printer and works from mobile devices. One thing I really love is that you can make double-sided copies, or even double to single-sided. I was concerned it was bigger than my old printer but it still fit nicely and the touch screen pops out and articulates making it easy to view if it sits lower. The Instant Ink is an incredible program as well, I was surprised how quickly my ink showed up. My only complaint with this printer is how noisy it is. When it starts up and prepares to print, it makes very clunky sounds - almost sounding like it is breaking. I work in the office later in the evening so the loud noise is very unfortunate because otherwise it's amazing and I love the print quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently replaced my older HP printer for the HP OfficeJet Pro 9135e, I only replaced it because I needed a printer that had auto feeder scanning/printing abilities. I was able add and set up the printer with no issues on the HP app, I already had the app because of my previous HP printer. The set up was quick and painless. I like the speed of the printer and the 95% accuracy in scanning documents, it missed one document out of a 50 page scan. It's heavenly that this printer hold a nice amount of paper in the paper source, my old one did not. I did notice that I have to wait long when I'm trying to print remotely, I have had instances when I had to stop the remote printing search and restart it. So far I am liking this printer, I'll have to figure out the problem on printing remotely.

Set-up with printer not "plug and play" as described. I had multiple problems. First, it gave me multiple notices that 3 of the ink cartridges were missing or damaged. So, I powered everything off, went out to buy replacements, and when I turned it back on, everything was fine! Then the set-up had problems finding the printer and communicating with it although it sits right next to the modem. So, that took additional time to work through. The printer also shakes more than expected during operation and many of the printer's plastic parts are very flimsy. So, although I never had to contact Customer Service for help, I had many challenges to overcome during the set-up. With those behind me, I hope this will be the high-quality printer that I thought I was buying.

There was a learning curve at first, being it was a completely different style of printer I had before, but once I got familiar with everything, it works perfectly and I have had no issues with it. My only complaint is that it is not compatible with the scan to phone option, but it does have a work around for that, so that's not an issue anymore. The print quality is very good, it has every feature you could need for just a home computer or to run a small business. I would definitely recommend this if you are in the market for a new printer.

I will admit I was hesitant about replacing my old HP officejet printer because it was so efficient and such a workhorse, but let me tell you HP continues to impress! My new HP officejet 9122 is a true powerhouse. It delivers brilliant color prints and super fast black and white documents like a dream. I didn't think HP could get faster or quieter but I do believe this printer runs smoother and faster on both color and black and white prints. I do a lot of crafting so I need a printer that can manage thicker paper as well as copy and this printer was on point! I had no issues running my cardstock or sticker paper with no complications at all. The document feeder with double sided copy feature makes copying so quick and simple as well as the double sided print feature. The instant ink offered by HP ensures I will always have ink ready when I'm low and won't run out. The printer connects to the internet and let's them know when to send more. I even send them my old cartridges in the mail and don't have to worry about polluting the environment. Another plus is the awesome HP app where you can remote print documents from anywhere and have them waiting on you when you get home. The fax machine gives great flexibility if you are working from home or need to send that last minute document securely to a business. The scan bed offers the ability to scan documents or items that won't fit through the document feeder, such as, a driver's license, social security card, and pictures. There are so many features on this powerhouse I'm sure I've still missed something, but overall it's a beast. I would highly recommend this printer.

The printing has been of very good quality and it does it pretty fast. Although it does go through quite a bit of ink pretty fast. But that all depends on the amount of printing you are doing. The scanner makes very good copy's and you can make pdf from it to email. You can also setup printing from your phone or tablet. Over all this printer has been a great printer.

Good little printer that connects easily to mobile devices via a QR Code, but can be quite cluncky when connecting to wireless desktops etc. The scanner also seems to come up twice on the scanning software with only one of them working for some reason. But once the teething problems are over it's not a bad printer for the price.Hopefully it last as long as my last one about 12 years

Setup was quick, and getting it connected to our computers and phones was easy, so everyone in the house could start using it right away without any confusion. It's been especially nice not having to troubleshoot or spend time figuring things out.\n\nThe real test came when we had to scan a 50-page double-sided legal document, which is usually the kind of task everyone avoids. Normally that would take forever, but the dual-side scanning made it incredibly simple. We just loaded everything in and let it run, no flipping pages or standing there watching it the whole time. What really impressed me was the mobile scanning feature. The AI automatically figured out the correct page orientation, so everything came through clean, straight, and in the right order without any extra effort.\n\nPrint quality has been solid across the board, whether it's basic documents or color prints, and it's been reliable with no issues so far. Had this printer about a month... not exactly easy and straight forward to set up, needed an update carried out first, desk top didn't want to print, very slow printing from phone, had to move it nearer the router then buy a signal booster. Printers are put on this earth to drive us mad!

The printer is very nice, good print quality, It's fast and very user friendly. The worst thing about the printer was the setup. The app and software download was frustrating to say the least. It needs work, it should have not been that complicated.

It gets the printing done, with a lag to start, and then, parts of the printing are cut off at the side, or top, when the paper comes out of the printer. There must be something wrong with the way the paper is aligned.

This printer is a step up from my old Officejet 8610 because it has the two-sided printing. However, when doing two-sided copying or printing, there are frequent paper jams that sometimes require rebotting the printer.

Took awhile for it to start printing within a few seconds but works great now. I cannot scan however. HP Scan will not load. I do have an 8600 that still chugging along and I can scan with it.

Very pleased with the product. It is compact and fast enough for my business and private use. My one concern is the paper retainer after printing. It is not long enough to retain the paper.

It was very hard for me to set up. More detailed instructions is needed.

I just plugged and followed the steps in the manual that came with it, and it was up and running in less than ten minutes, and it took me less than five minutes to get my Instaink setup. \nThe printer function on it works great, it is a little louder than what I would prefer it to be. The ink for the printer was very easy to install as well. I like how much paper the paper tray hold . I can put almost a full packet of paper in it. The copy function works perfectly along with the scanner on it. \nI really like how I can use the screen on the printer to control it's functions or I can use the app. I prefer using the app more due to being able to see all the different functions that are available to use. You can also see how much ink the printer has in it through the app as well. You don't have to worry though about running out ink because with the Instaink subscription, it will automatically send you new ink when you start to get low. \nThe printer all around is great and I am very happy with it.

Set up was fairly easy, and the app walks you through most of it. The printer is sizable, while being very compact given all use functionality. We picked this one for its dual-pass, 2-sided ADF scanner so we could convert old journals into a digital format to not lose precious memories. We loved that this also has the ability to copy, fax, print in black/white and color, and it does this these fast! 20+ per minute! We are often scanning in important document at our house and this provides a crisp, clear image and prints off just as clear. The only con we have is that this printer frequently checks the ink levels, and its loud and clunky when it does so. I wish it wouldn't check as frequently, or was a bit quieter when it did it as we do have this in a guest room. All in all, this is an amazing printer, with every function you could ever need all in a compact size. 10/10!

This is an all in one device with abilities to print, copy, scan and fax! It has WiFi and works with a computer or mobile device, in sync with the HP app. There is a beautiful, easy to use touch screen panel. The paper loads in the drawer underneath and the 4 inks are easy to load as well as very nicely labeled! This can print up to 16 pages with ease, there's the ability to copy/print in both color or black and white. The setup and wifi connection was super easy; it works like a dream! The most exciting bonus to this printer is the 3 months of instant ink shipments. I've used this for personal work as well as creating decorations for a 90th birthday party for a neighbor in my building, I've made a card with cardstock and coloring pages for both the elders in my apartment building and the children I babysit!
