I really like this Table...

I really like this Table top Heater, it puts out a lot of Heat for its size .This Heater was very easy to assemble and the Instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The instructions stated you need a crescent Wrench but was not needed as all i needed was a Phillips Screw Driver. There was Two Tabs on the protective screen that needs a slight twist to align with the holes but no big deal. This Heater puts out 10,000 BTUs and takes the 1 Pound camping bottle, the connection access is really nice as you can see it and help align it. Other Patio Heaters are recessed up in the body of the Heater and hard to install, you can also put on a adapter to hook up a 20 Pound bottle for longer operation. This heater has a Stainless Steel Emitter for long life and to be rust proof for a long time. The protective screen shield is black for long life as well. The Ignitor does not take Batteries and is a pezio type. You simply install tank, operate ignitor a few time to get gas flowing hold down pilot knob after lighting to bleed system and turn to desired flame height. This Heater also has a built in shut off safety switch to prevent fires in case of tip overs for that great piece of mind. This is a great Table top Heater and you will be satisfied with this purchase.

Very attractive heater for small patio areas. The finish is multi-toned bronze, and the top dome is stainless steel. There is an adjustable heat level, but only 3-foot heating area. If this is heating a smaller area, it works just fine. It does go through the 1-pound propane cylinders in about half an hour on high setting before it freezes up, so you will need to buy a spare cylinder and no cylinders are included. You could buy an adapter hose and hook to a 20-pound tank, and it would last a more reasonable period, but that hose is not included here. Buying the 20-pound tank will make this far less "portable" and attractive and increase your cash outlay. There is some assembly, but it wasn't difficult, and took only 2 hand tools and 30 minutes.

I considered returning the item for an outdoor electric heater. This tabletop heater is visually appealing but not convenient to use on a daily basis. The small tank which is not included provides 1.5 to 2 hours of heat depending on the setting used. This would be fine for intermittent use. As another reviewer mentioned when installing the small tank you need someone with small hands and I would also recommend patience.

I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because my concern is the amount of heat it actually produces. I gave it a test run on a night in Florida that was approximately 65 degrees. You could feel some heat but I would question it's ability to throw good heat at 50 degrees or less.

Nice little heater. Uses a lot of propane. Recommend the bbq size canister. Quite warm. Keeps our 12x12 screened gazebo warm in cooler temps. Would give 5 stars but it uses soooo much fuel

The heat output is okay, nothing impressive and we don't need much heat living in coastal southern California. \n\nThe biggest problems are, the propane tank, it is ridiculously difficult to take in and out without beating my small womans' hands up. The process takes many repeated attempts to accomplish. After 3 months of owning it, we could no longer even get the tank to attach. \n\nThe good news is, the company is trying to help us under the warranty. I think they are assuming we striped the fitting, but I am here to tell you the area is so small to work in that we could only gently attempt to put the tank in. It was never forced because of this. They have asked me to send pictures so they can see if the fitting got stripped. Funny how the rep. new immediately what my issue was. She must get these calls frequently. She said they could send me a new part if it's stripped. If they do this, I honestly don't know how we will be able to install it, given the compartment's very small size.

This is a nice little heater to take the chill off on cooler nights. Fairly easy to light and puts out enough heat for a couple of people on a couch or a small group around a table. Not too difficult to put together and seems well made. Design allows 1 pound cylinder or a 20 pound tank of propane (connected with hose) to be used.
