The power & speed of this thing is almost hard to comprehend. R/W speeds over 12K are now added to the already insane, raw horsepower of the CPU and its ancillary sub-systems. As an old geezer who's first computer was an Apple //, this could likely be my last machine. It handles high-end audio projects without moving the needle. I cannot imagine needing more.

Upgrading from an Intel based mac 2017 to this new M2 Pro was a major difference , I have not heard the fans turn on once with multiple apps open including Lightroom Finalcut Pro and Safari open all at once while having music playing in the background, love the new body and multiple ports for no more dongle use!

Been strictly a Windows guy for most of my life, started off with an Apple IIc. Very happy with the quality and usability of the new MacBook. Easy to set up with lots of features. Prob would have preferred more storage but otherwise great purchase for the price.

Super fast. I had a MacBook Air M1 with 256gb and I upgraded to this laptop. The performance is noticeable fast. I can open like tons of windows without any hiccups. The battery is also lasting longer. The only con is the weight when comparing with the Air.

As many of us do, I have a habit of trusting others opinions over my own. If people believe in something so strongly they're willing to assert their opinion I tend to lean in their direction of belief. Especially if you grew up in my generation ( 1980's kid). The constant switch and change to the styles, formats, and innovations has slowed my professional production down considerably. Yesterday I purchased my first MacBook for personal and business use. I am absolutely mind-blown on how powerful this marvel of technology is. Given, it is only been 24 hours, but in those 24 hours I have accomplished more productivity than I have in the last month and a half. The visuals are out of this world. I've seen a lot of comparisons on a lot of different visual display units but this tops even my television. I cannot believe how clean and crisp and vibrant the colors and images are, it's amazing. The speed of the magnificent MacBook pro is unreal. I previously purchased a Microsoft studio 2 laptop (latest model, 16 gig RAM, 500 plus gig storage). Given the Microsoft computer was absolutely amazing in build and design design. I honestly miss the feel of it and how techy it looked. However, it couldn't handle a fraction of my workload and I spent most of the time just trying to figure it out. Please keep in mind, this is after a lifetime of using this software and very similar hardware. I can't believe how easy it is to transition to Mac. Unless then an hour I was flying along. For my job I have to work quickly and have many apps open all at once. On top of this i am online constantly loading documents, videos, images. I can have an uncountable amount of windows open in both documents and online pages and this thing doesn't even slow. I kid you not the second you click a button as fast as you can blink you are onto the next job. With all the different touch pad shortcuts I swear this thing is the bohemoth. I absolutely love my new MacBook Pro!! I mainly purchased this as I am starting college and I needed a laptop. The Apple one caught my attention and fit what I wanted in a laptop. I’ve heard many great reviews about this specific laptop, MacBook Pro, and it’s true. ITS AMAZING! I love how simple it is to use and how similar it is to my iphone; the features such as my messages, FaceTime and photos are linked with the same iCloud between devices which is very convenient and easy for me because I can see everything on both devices. For me, it makes it easier to download and store certain files as well as upload things from one device to another if need be, because they are linked and this can come in handy for me when I’m doing school assignments. The feature of the fingerprint key on the keyboard is very nice. If you decide to keep passwords saved on a website the feature is good to have as it automatically gives you the option to simply press your finger down on the key and sign in without having to type your password in which is great because I always forget and it is fast and easy. I have also played around with it a lot and I’m very happy with the over all display and amazing camera quality (great for video calls such as FaceTime and zoom and photos). It connects great with Bluetooth headphones and devices. I also love this as I can easily use my iPhones hotspot as my source of wifi when I do not have access to other internet at the moment.
