My Google ecosystem has broken down (according to Gemini, which can make mistakes so double check it) due to the change from Assistant to Gemini, which isnt finished yet. My home pod was confusing, and became a paperweight since chnaging our network. Gemini said they current "dont shake hands" anymore. I didn't realize there were so many snags (frog in pot) until I began using this watch again, with no snags except with the new phone defaulting to my old ipod mini, which probably has an option somewhere to change but for now it's just unplugged. \nI did like the round watch very much, but this is smaller and so that makes it better to me. The Apple is more responsive and more accurate than my previous watch. I can turn alarms off from the watch instead of having to go to the phone. The only way to do that on my other watch was to program the alarm into the watch itself, not the phone. It had gotten frustrating keeping track of which alarms were which, and stopping what I was doing to go find my phone was annoying.\nI was most impressed by the silliest thing. I used to complain that the other system never said "you're welcome" to any automatic "thank you." I chuckled when I forgot myself and said "thank you" to Siri. Siri responds with : you're welcome, or my pleasure, etc. Yes, silly, but contributes to the impression overall.

I have been greatly enjoying my watch so far. The integration with my other Apple products, especially the iPhone, is completely seamless. It provides me with all of the relevant fitness and health data and allows me to have a consistent record of it in the app.
Having used other bigger and more expensive Apple Watches for work, I believe that this form factor and set of features is essentially perfect for most people interested in getting one. I find the other models to be too bulky and ugly, so I appreciate the 40mm variant more even though my wrists are not particularly small.
The one relevant downside I would point out is that the battery life is lacking compared to some other offerings by different smartwatch brands. It lasts about a day and a half for me, which is more than enough for someone that charges overnight, but given that I want to track my sleep stats I have to find a moment to plug it in during the day.
Aside from that, it would be nice to see Apple's sapphire crystal offered in the SE next generation, but I understand that this is an easy way to cut costs and sell at this price point. Durability is so far so good, but I'll only really be able to tell once I've used the device for longer.

This is my second time purchasing the Apple Watch SE. The first one lasted me almost 3 years of daily use before I broke it and I loved it so much I just bought it again! I like that this model is affordable, yet still contains all of the features I need in an Apple Watch. I use it to track my daily workouts, steps, task reminders, cooking timers, you name it. I don't really miss the features it doesn't have, like the blood oxygen monitor. \n\nOverall, I'd recommend this watch to any budget conscious person as a great value over the more expensive models. The only drawback is durability- you almost certainly need protection. I took a broken screen protector off of my old watch before I had a replacement protector and the watch was shattered the very same day-hence the new watch.

I'm a huge tech nerd and love Apple's products despite their proprietary use. After plenty of research, this seemed best for my girlfriend because she doesn't do anything crazy or require what the series 10 or ultra does. She regularly tracks her health stats on her iphone and has to take work calls and respond to texts while driving. I wanted to get her something more accessible, safe, and accurate. She's loved it so much ever since putting it on and loves the sleep tracking, cycle tracking, remote alarm and camera control, text messaging, and being able to play a sound to find her phone. The battery lasts about 2 days and has a low power mode. It's made her life much easier and I highly recommend it to those wanting one for regular daily use. Great for price.

Love the functionality of the watch. It tracks sleep, bpm, workouts, and is very comfortable on the wrist. Everything is amazing except for one caveat - it has a poor battery life. \nPrepare to charge this thing at least once, maybe twice a day if you plan on wearing this the entire day. Why? Well say you spend a whole day with it. If you plan on having this thing track your sleep at the end of the day, you will need to charge it when you get home. And potentially when you wake up too for use the next day and repeat. As such when I pick this thing up, it usually doesn't have enough battery so I end up just leaving it home or it having not enough to sleep with.

Yes, the battery life isn't stellar, but it's no problem to charge. \nThe health functions are excellent: accurate heart rate monitor, good interface. And the Apple health privacy feature is frankly why I bought this. Other watches (samsung) sell every bit of your health data to unnamed companies. Apple got it right. Excellent affordable option for a smartwatch! Purchased 4 months ago and still love it. I primarily use it for work, step count, and timers. I was worried it would look too big on my wrist, but the size is fine. I like the look of the rose gold metal and off-white band. It matches anything I wear. \n\nIt does need to be charged each night, but that's no big deal for me as I don't like wearing watches when I sleep. Just something to keep in mind if you want sleep tracking.

I have waited so long to buy one and I finally did it! I love it! The only difference between the SE and the regular Apple Watch is the SE doesn't have EKG and Always on. I get all my notifications so I don't have to have my phone ringer on, I'm able to answer my phone with the watch and the other person can't tell I'm talking on a watch, and it has a great fit! I bought the Starlight because I bought a cover for it so you can't even tell it's silver. Just call me Jane Jetson!

I'm already using it to track my daily walk and do the meditation exercises.\n\nBe aware that if you have chunky wrists like I do, the S/M band will not fit. But the loops are easy to find and more comfortable anyway. And I wish the battery life were better.
