I was very excited when I was earned enough to purchase this and didn't have to wait as long as expected. When I went and picked it up at the store it was in a larger box than expected, turns out it was packed in a box that was to big for it leaving about 6 inches from end to end with room to slide. I took it out and opened it up, first thing I noticed was the game case itself, due to inproper packaging and/or carless shipping, (unless they sell everyone broken stuff) was cracked up and un-usable (wouldn't close anymore) I then hooked it up to the T.V. to play it finally. I put the disk in and closed it, waited and to my HUGE dissapointment I could not play it right out of the box, it needed an update in order to play.... It JUST came out and I bought it.... Anyways, I had to wait about a week before I could download any updates. Now the xbox itself, I was pretty happy to have a new 360 but my old one was the original that came out in 05 and compared to that one the value of the xbox now has decreased dramatically. It's like they don't care about their products anymore. The casing felt really cheap and weak and when I play a game it made some crazy noises that I guess are okay, but the old one never made those sounds. Normally the older models of anything would be loud and obnoxious, but I'm much happier with the old than the knew. I'd say the best thing about it would be all the goodies that come already downloaded and the 250 gb hard drive.
