Xbox 1 is a Christmas gift, so I can't rate my son's feelings about how much he loves it. I was very pleased at the price I paid for it.

Received the unit few days back. Everything works perfect. Here the Pros & Cons.\nPros\n+ Kinect : Easy to control XBox and TV with voice. The Dance / Fitness games are fun. Practicing Fantasia (got from Library) / Lets Dance 2014 (bought from BBuy).\n+ Hi-Fi Games : Games are so refined and next level in Graphics/FX. Trying to Play F1 2015. It takes time for newbies. Have to try the Top Rated Games (Halo 5, Just Cause, Gears of War, Tomb Raider). Am too a Beginner.\n+ Smart TV Apps : If you have Non-Smart TV then this will make your TV Smart (NetFlix, HBO Go, you name it.).\n+ One Drive : I have lot of media on my One Drive. XBox fetches the content with my live id. Watching Photos with controller is awesome. Especially Zoom and Pan the images via RT, LT.\n+ Blu-Ray : XBox can play Bluray discs. Need to install Bluray app. It's Free.\n+ Free Games : Xbox has couple of free games on App store. I really like "Airmech Arena". It's online only game. But very good to play.\n+ Design: The console design/Matte finish is great. Has plenty of vents for air flow. Fits well on my TV stand.\n+ 360 games : MS released patch to play old 360 Games on XBox one. At present it has couple of games. Expecting MS will release more by 2016.\n+ Motion Feedback : MS fixed rotors inside Game controller for players to feel motion feedback. It's fun when playing Race Games like F1, NFS.\n\nCons\n- Time to setup : It took more than 20 minutes to setup for the first time. It downloads over 2 GB firmware update for XBox, Kinect and Controller.\n- Controller pair : At first the controller didn't get pair and xbox light was blinking for sometime. Then I searched for solution on google. Had to press the pair button on XBox console (on side above USB Port) and press Pair button on front side of controller. If you are familiar with XBox then it's not an issue.\n- Power Brick : Not sure why the Power brick is really designed like Brick. It's so heavy and huge. Does it have internal fan to cool the circuits? :)\n- Cables : The XBox Power cable and Kinect cable are so thick. For me, it's bit difficult to fit/hide in my TV stand. It's not big deal for many.\n+ Free Space : 500 GB model shows 364.9 GB for Apps and Games. (Refer attached screenshot.) Installed 2 games and it took 36 GB. It's not a big deal. I still have plenty of storage left. If I used all, will attach my 2 TB Portable HDD.\n\nOverall I like it very much and recommend to those who looking for Gaming + Media Center console.

To start the Xbox One X is an incredible console. It is the third generation Xbox and I have owned all three. I have liked all the console but so far, I have enjoyed the Xbox One X the most. I have owned it for the last month and a half and only have great things to say about the console. \nTo start the console has native 4k resolution and I have a 4k monitor to go with it. 4k resolution is a very noticeable difference compared to 1080p and most games and streaming services offer 4k content. It also has the ability to do 10-bit or 12-bit color if that is supported by your monitor or TV. For the physical design Microsoft was able to get rid of the annoying power transformer and put it internally in the Xbox. This means you just have a regular power cord now. It also has a smaller footprint but is a bit heavier in weight than the second generation giving you the impression that it has a strong build quality. With fifteen dollars stand the console looks very sleek on my desk. It has the built-in capability for Dolby Atmos and comes with Windows Sonic for free which is for virtual surround sound. If you have a headset with a MixAmp you can set it to stereo uncompressed as well. It has an IR blaster built-in which allows for you to connect a multimedia remote. I found one for twenty dollars and it works great functions just like I have a TV. It can play back Ultra High Definition Blu-Ray discs too. Microsoft has an app available in the Apple Store that allows you to connect to your console and do things like power it on and off or join in to one of your friends party.\nOverall there is only two negative I can think of and both have solutions they just require money. First the console gets quite hot causing the cords on the back to be hot as well. I don’t any issues will arise form this. The other is that it is only has 1TB of space, but you can by external hard drives if you filled all the space.\n

Great deal but you need xbox live to get the free download game to work. They will email the game download link but says need xbox live to operate

I bought it because it's only slightly more expensive than a true 4k Blu-ray player with Dolby Atmos etc, and needed one for the 4k 60" TV in the bedroom. This has all that. I figured, why not get this since it also plays 4k games? It's a great Blu-ray player, and I bought a couple games too. I also found out it's backwards compatible all the way to original Xbox so that's cool. If you use this as a player I recommend you get the remote for it. I found a name brand remote for just over $20, and that's far better than using a controller. Especially for my wife, who doesn't play video games, and didn't want to use a controller to play, pause, FF, chapter skip, etc. Over all I'm really glad I bought it. My Budget for a 4k ... This is a game that is already about 7 years old. But despite that length of time, "The Wolf Among Us" is a well designed and fun game to play. I only learned of its existence recently, and that's why I never purchased it years ago, when PS#3 was still in vogue. This game is challenging, and you are going to have to play it for an hour or more to get used to quick reactions you must have in dangerous situations. Otherwise, you will die and have to restart your game from the most recent checkpoint that you reached. This is definitely a game aimed at 17+ players. Definitely not good choice for young kids. But hey, the younger players probably hate PS#3, right? I am over 50 years, so I still enjoy the games that were available for that older Sony Console. Good Graphics, really good sound ... Seeing as production for the original Xbox One has stopped, I felt it was time to upgrade and stay up to date with the latest technology. I currently have a 1080p TV and can already see increasingly bright and crisp graphics. I can only imagine how this looks on a 4K screen! Loading time is reduced, I load into multiplayer games instantly while others are taking 15-30 seconds. I am an avid gamer and Xbox customer and this product helps keep me at the top of my game. Not to mention I got it for $100 below retail from Newegg. I don’t usually do the product reviews but man, Im genuinely please with my Xbox…it works like new i mean the disc tray had a problem but I was expecting that after reading the description & even with that problem all I had to do was take the faceplate off & my disc drive started working like it was brand new so all In all i give this product 5 stars!!!! It does all the necessary functions of a gaming console. You won’t be disappointed in its performance. The best quality was it plays all available video formats unlike your Roku or TV’s built in application which block certain formats. One area of disappointment is it’s main console is just plain boring they did a much better job with Xbox 360. Gone was the opening flash, gone the setup of avatar. Seems Microsoft had gone the route of Apple plain simple clean. The cost in the system is astronomical from live, to ordinary games 6-7 year old games for 40 bucks many much worse. The added concept of “Xbox Version” didn’t make me feel better it made me think of a boat anchored version Another issue was placing a game on the hard drive I noticed it took up 48gb I’m like what???? What could possibly be on Madden 2019 that needs 48gb of data space. When you buy this console get it under 100 and search the yard sale circuit for games and save for live. It’s the best route.

Was very nervous to buy a console, but loot hive seemed to be reliable. I got my console very fast, with everything in it, the only issue I have is the controller. I’ll have to buy a new one because this has to be off brand, I put batteries in and they overheated and the plastic started peeling! I can’t be mad, after all the price is great. I bought one used 3 years ago and it now started acting up and the disc drive part stopped working. I got 3 great years out of it. I purchase game discs due to online downloads are still up to $60 on games that have been out for at least 2 or more years and the game discs are at most $15 for the same thing at local store so therefore I save a ton on which is why I needed an xbox one with disc drive on it. It works perfectly and with madden 18 with it was a very wonderful bonus! Thanks guys for being here especially during this pandemic of covid 19 and keeping me sane with something to enjoy with the family since we cannot go out to do the things we used to do before pandemic.

Absolutely great! Console arrived in 2 days, (due to being ordered late at night) and was in great condition. It came with Xbox Gold for 3 months and a code for Rocket League. Took a couple minutes to setup, and games like Roblox, Fortnite and Rocket League run beautifully and it's just overall fun for all the family. 5 stars! ☺Absolutely great! My Grandson's xbox didn't work anymore so I decided to buy him one so he would have something to do while staying at home. It came so much sooner than expected and everything was well packaged, everything included was pretty clean, the console was a little dusty but easy clean up. Everything works perfectly, and is pretty much brand new. The only problem I had was that the R1 button on the controller was broken, but it was an easy fix. All in all I'm very impressed with this seller. Bought this because it was time to upgrade from my old 360, I like the new features and since the one S has release and the project scorpion a year away the cost and timing was good, Many features that the 360 doesn't have, but one issue is all 360 games will not play on this new one, some are backwards compatible and if you have a lot of 360 games then that's a concern, another issue unless your TV is modern, recent you may not get the full benefit of higher picture quality, I have a high end plasma still a great picture but also 720p, 1080i so I haven't notice a drastic picture difference

Hi! Throughout his years of playing on the xbox one, my son made many new friends, as this console connects and brings together people! This console also helped him relax at troublesome times and get his mind off the negative emotions he experienced, as this console made him feel happy for himself and made everything he played look so real, he created himself a little paradise.. Finally this console made his life more enjoyable, one thing he wanted the most.\n\nI would highly advice this console for a person of any age and any gender. I hope it brings you joy!

Didnt expect it to still have more than one profile on it and a whole bunch of data. I had to wipe the whole system, which wasn't a problem but still I shouldn't have to do it. The xbox one x has totally won me over. I also have the PS4 pro, which is good, but it's not on this level. Halo 5 looks like a brand new game on 4k screens. It's pretty incredible it runs most games at a native 4k. Everything else just runs smoother when compared to my xbox one s. The other surprising thing, is just how small and quiet it is. It's a little smaller than the one s, and is insanely quiet. Very impressed with this system and can't wait to see the new games take advantage of its power.
