Sounds good for the small 8" package, did fit under my 2023 Silverado rear seat in the aftermarket storage. Would have liked it to be enclosed not ported but that's just my preference, makes the factory Bose sound way better. The Crutchfield diagram made install easy to tap into Bose Amp sub output. No need to run separate remote turn on on this unit, turns on thru high level input.

I just bought a 2017 Chevy Trax crossover with the speaker factory system. While factory systems have come a long way (and this one despite not being the Bose top end factory system) and this one if properly tuned was actually pretty decent, I was missing the low end notes in my music (I listen to everything from Sinatra to Kendrick Lamar). In comes this JL Audio powered sub. I have never owned a JL, but I knew of their reputation. Picked up an InstallCard and had in installed in the back hatch. Very impressive bass reproduction even with the limited tone controls built into the car. It really filled out the factory system, and while I know that aftermarket speakers/amp would make it sound even better, at this point of my life I wanted cabin filling, clean audio. This JL truly complimented the setup and completed the system, and I am sure that I have many years of car audio please to look forward to. Highly recommended.

This thing has a ton of power! Easy install, has a wide range and can thump if you need it to. In my late 30's and this is perfect for what I need. Can't hear it outside the car but really fills the entire vehicle with great low end sound. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

Fantastic sub for my Forester! Enough to always be present but easily enough when you want to bump to your music of choice. I paired mine with the remote dail as well and it's easily one of my favorite additions to the car. Great sub, super easy install, fantastic sound! Worth the price.

I've had this powered sub for 4 years now in two different cars. From a 370z in the storage behind the passenger seat. Now 19' M Mirage hatchback in the trunk area. It turns the basic sound system of this car into something great. You have to get the remote volume control knob because the volume sweet spot for hip hop and rock are at different levels.

So much bang for your buck. You'd never guess this was an 8" subwoofer. I would recommend this setup for anyone who wants some rich bass and not drown out your mids and highs. Works great with good quality factory speakers and you can adjust it if you upgrade those later. One of the best things is the options for turning on the the amp. There is no need for a remote wire. The amp recognizes signal coming through the RCAs and turns the itself on. You can run a remote wire if you want, but it's not necessary. It is a well designed setup good for all types of music. A+

I installed the JL Audio ACP108LG-W3v3 in my 2021 SR5 Tacoma Double Cab truck. I was able to connect the subwoofer straight to my HU with no LOC. Just tapped into my front speakers from behind the radio. Subwoofer fit behind my passenger backseat with no modification needed. The sound coming from this 8" Subwoofer is awesome. Got ahead and buy it. You won't regret it.

This sub is perfect for the avid listener who is a road warrior that wants an enriched, deep, thick sound for every listening experience yet when you want it to perform like a 10" or 12" sub for the music that hits hard then you've got that option! This sub is multifaceted, multiversed and ready to handle anything you can throw at it on every level! I have owned this sub for over a year now and it has taken everything I have thrown at it! WELL WORTH THE PURCHASE..... MY ADVICE.... SPEND THE MONEY!

I've fallin in love with this JL. Money well spent. If your working with a tight space but want that bass clear bass amazing bass. You need this I can only imagine what the 10 inch sounds like. You will not be dissappointed! Also this fit perfectly in my Jeep Gladiator.

This little sub hits pretty hard! I was pleasantly surprised with the how good it sounds. You won't hear it from a block away, but your can feel it in your chest while the mirrors are bouncing!

Surprisingly for an 8" it hits hard ! Love the low profile design because I use it for my 2010 Silverado. I know JL has a good reputation and it should last for a long time ... no problems yet. Sounds good and worth the money

Love thus sub in my Classic Mercedes Benz. Sounds fantastic. Im playing Tech House and techno and the sound is very impressive. I contemplated 250w or 500w but decided Id start with 250w and if needed will return exchange. The 250w is ample. I tested it loud while driving, and people down the street are turning heads to hear where the sound is coming from. Id say I play it 30-50% max volume tempted to buy another fo my 2nd car. .

Sounds great! For a ported box it's still got clean, tight sound. Took it an hour or two to really "break in" but overall it's typical JL Audio sound - good stuff!

VERY pleased with this sub set up . The sound is amazing for this speaker size . It has the sound of a larger sub without the vibrating , and rattling that accompanies them . Received in excellent like new condition no visible signs of use or abuse , and shipping was very quick . I am very pleased with the price for this level of quality speaker .

Crazy amount of base for an 8in. sub. Did not expect it to be that loud, plus the quality is just amazing. Great purchase, just time to move on to JL's 10in.

BIG sound in a tiny package. I purchased this powered sub to enhance the stock stereo on a 2010 Toyota 4Runner. Very happy with the result. Tight, clean bass.
