[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a homemaker full-time, and I spend a lot of time in my kitchen preparing meals for my family. This Whirlpool 3 Series Electric Freestanding 5 burner Range with Steam Clean is a serious upgrade to my kitchen space. Whirlpool, a leader in appliances for as long as I can remember, is a brand you can trust when it comes to your large appliance purchases.\n\nThis range has so many features, a favorite being the "No Preheat" from frozen mode for pizza and other frozen foods. And the dual radiant elements, that allows you more even cooking by giving you a larger heating zone, or smaller if you need one. I appreciate the temperature sensor that is built into the oven to bake all of your foods evenly. When you turn this oven on, you simply press the Bake button and press Start, and it starts to preheat, and as it is heating, you can see what temperature the oven is at on the panel until it is completely up to temperature, I found this feature really nice! No more guessing how hot the oven is, you know exactly where it is at. The built in sensor makes sure that everything you bake is done right, every time. And everything I have made so far has come out perfect!\n\nThis stove's cooktop has five distinct zones, four cooking elements, two six inch and two expandable six to nine inch elements and then there is the middle Warm Zone to keep your food warm as you are cooking. The oven has a Keep Warm setting as well, you simply press this button as it will keep your food nice and warm until you are ready to serve it.\n\nFinally, this stove has the Steam Clean option to clean your oven without having to use oven cleaners. Simply add water to the bottom of the oven, remove the racks, run the cycle which takes about an hour, and wipe it out. Its simple and easy.\n\nThis range is a dream. I cannot stress enough what a pleasure it has been to cook with this stove.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a few weeks I have used the range top and the oven. The rangetop controls work well but sometimes are not smooth ooerating. May improve with more use. The range being gloss black shows any grease spatter. I now use pan screens to reduce grease spatter from landing on range top. Very nice light in the oven. Oven timer works well. I really like the larger storage door on front bottom. All my pans and pits fit inside just like before. Was simple to attach piwer cord saved from last stove. It is a 3 prong appliance so no rewiring needed. Fit exactly back into old stove place in my kitchen like a glove. Thirty inch stove top. All in all the perfect replacement. My old one was over 20 years old. It shorted out the oven control panel and ended up.licking the oven door.

Firstly, the oven looks beautiful. I love the stainless steel, which doesn’t appear to attract fingerprints quickly. The black is also bright and shiny. The smooth cooktop does show fingerprints/smudges easily. The slide out drawer at the bottom is very roomy and holds all of my pans unlike the older Whirlpool model I replaced this one with. \nI did notice a couple defects with the oven upon arrival. First, the right hinge is loose and moves/squeaks when openening the oven. I do plan to reach out to manufacturer to see if they’ll send someone to tighten it. Second was that the gasket was not fully installed. I ended up being able to push the little pin in to secure it, but it was a slight disappointment for a brand new oven.\nFor the features, the oven light is nice and bright and you can see clearly into the oven. I love the dual burners and their simple functionality. They heated up my pasta water quickly! I haven’t quite figured out the non-preheat feature. The oven does take a normal to quick amount of time to get to the set temperature, but it does show what temperature it is at while it’s heating up to the set temp, which is helpful. \nOne piece of caution, like most (if not all) new ovens, there is a “burn off” period where the oven smells like chemicals when you first use it. It took a long time to burn off (several days/hours). I used my air purifier during this process and the monitor displayed poor air quality, so just make sure you do the burn off in a well ventilated area. \nOverall, a solid appliance of great quality with all the basics and a modern design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range has a lot of potential, with some nice features, but also has some horrible design flaws. The largest might be the oven venting. When baking, the oven vents heat right up into the control panel, making the stainless steel literally too hot to touch. I can’t imagine that the controls will last long exposed to that kind of heat. The stovetop also gets super hot when the oven runs, but the “Hot Surface” warning doesn’t light up. Seems like it should, considering how hot it gets. \r\nThe drawer beneath the oven is incredibly shallow; definitely the most shallow I’ve ever come across. It’s also incredibly flimsy.\r\nThere are sharp edges EVERYWHERE. The stamped out metal was never finished, so there are razor-sharp edges all over it. We’ve all been sliced open multiple times by these sharp edges.\r\nThis is actually our second range as the first one had to be returned immediately since it was missing parts and was essentially falling apart right at delivery. \r\nThe stovetop itself does work great, and I love the air fryer function. Overall it feels cheap and flimsy, but we’ll see how it holds up over time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had the new range now for about a month are still getting used to the new controls on the oven The one thing we do miss is when the oven's on it shows the temperature but doesn't show the clock even though we can set the timer other than that if it lasts half as long as our old one did that would be great our old one lasted 31 plus years and the only reason we purchased a new one was the oven control panel had problems and there were no parts available and to get a rebuilt circuit board was about to have the price of a brand new stove

This one looks like my old one but the door is thinner and the storage drawer is thin and very cheap. It gets very hot along the front edge of the door while baking and cooking. My other one did not. Concerns me when I'm baking and cooking when my grandchildren are helping. In comparing to my old one this did not happen. Even myself when cooking the edge gets very hot.

At the end of the day I just need the thing to cook the food well. I don't need fancy outer heating or middle hearing, and the knobs don't allow me to learn exactly what heat level is what because there are no numbers or indications. Going left or right for inner or outer heating is just annoying, but this is what came with the house. Overall is good range.

I have been buying Whrilpool washing machine for decades so decided to try their stove. I would imagine it will last a decent amount of time. It heats up quickly which cuts cooking time down some. The preheat cycle for the oven has a count up to the temperature you set so you know how much longer before you reach the proper temperature to put your food in. I find it hard to figure out cooking temps of the eyes. Since all the small eyes are in the back it makes for awkward handling when using smaller pots. This one isn't self cleaning, bummer. Some things that are different from my previous Whirlpool are the slower preheat time of the oven and the extremely quiet beep to tell you the oven is preheated or the timer has finished. Let me start off by saying this range is a standard range and not a top of line one with all the bells and whistles. With that being said, I’m very happy with what features it does come with and how it has worked so far. One of the biggest pluses on this glass top range is that both large size elements (which are adjustable to large or small) are located at the front of the range which is not typical. Most of what I’ve worked with or seen have them diagonal, so this is a very big plus when it comes to cooking. The downsides of this range (in my opinion) are not enough to take a star away, but I feel obligated to mention them. The fifth element is actually a warming section not a complete adjustable element. The knobs for the small elements in the back have number indicators for the heat settings, but the 2 adjustable elements in the front only have symbol indicators for temperature, not numbers. When you slide forward the racks in the oven to remove an item they are secure, but they do hang down a little bit that makes you a tad bit nervous. This range seems very well-made and sturdy, the sounds, color schemes, and overall appearance is very appealing. I used it immediately to make dinner and everything came out great. I highly recommend this item.

The appliance also came with a scratch on the silver oven handle, which is annoying. Glass top hard to clean without getting streaks. Other than that it’s a fine appliance. My new range looks really nice in my kitchen. The only reasons I didn’t give 5 stars are the drawer on the bottom where I store my pans is very very sharp on the inside when you pull it out. I’m surprised I haven’t cut myself opening it it’s that sharp. Also the burners seem to get much hotter than my old range, I’ll just have to get used to that. I do like the no preheat for frozen items. Don’t like that it’s not self cleaning.

One only worked on high, which burned anything and everything. The other smoked from behind the knob shortly after purchasing. The timer sound is too low and there is no sustained beeping to alert the cook who is waiting in another room. Need to put numbers on the dials so that you know what setting the stovetop range is on. We bought this stove in December last year. Still under warranty. Noticed a crack in the top and called company. They sent a repair man out and he said its a common stress crack on these stove tops. Got a new one today. Asked the man what to do about staining glass. He said its also a common problem on these tops. Our last stove was an Amana glass top and it never cracked now stained. They're GLASS. How can GLASS stain. I made dinner tonight on new top. IT STAINED!! On the first use! The repair man said he knows of nothing that will take the stain out. So now I have to look at more stains till I buy a new stove. The bottom drawer is like having a drawer of tin. FLIMSY. The oven was off 25° but when the repair man showéd up, he knew how to adjust it. Why not tell how in the manual? If you're looking for a glass top electric range, keep looking. We will never buy Whirlpool again.
