It would not take the number that I was given to put in to download it but when I contacted them, they were very nice and helping me get it going and that I do appreciate they gave me another number and then it worked just fine downloading to my computer. This Win11 key installed my Windows 10. I got the iso file from Microsoft (Media Creation tool, plus Rufus to make a bootable USB stick).\nI wanted a legal copy, and I know I can trust B&H to sell authentic software. This is the same price as Microsoft, but from a decent vendor, not a monopolist. Even in July 2025, I refuse to install another Windows 11. Its bottom-only taskbar is the work of evil people. If you want, you can extend Win10 support for three more years after the October 2025 end-of-life, though it is expensive.

I had to copy to the M.2 SSD to install, but once I did that, everything ran smoothly. i am not a fan of one-drive because i have no idea where my data is being stored, but that is a whole different animal.

Works fine except USB stick seems to be slightly oversized. Had to push on it very hard to get it into the PC USB port. Comes wih product verification code. Just boot PC to USB and start install.

Well, I burned out the main board of my nearly new MacBook Pro late 2019 that advertised game play ability with its dedicated on board graphics card and 16 gb of RAM. I play World of WarCraft, but this 3200 dollar “PRO” MacBook couldn’t handle it over a 6 month time span of moderate play. Playing this not so stressing game caused 1000 dollars worth or repair damage. JUST SAYIN’!\n\nSo I needed a dedicated PC to play my favorite game, and that meant Windows 10. I chose Windows 10 PRO because I wanted the added security of encryption (by the way, if you plan on using Adobe cloud based software, it doesn’t like encryption...at least on my repaired MacBook...just sayin’).\n\nSo I am pleased with the Windows 10 pro software. I swore off windows years ago (like Vista age) because it was buggy and cantankerous. That was like...early 2000s. In 2020, Windows 10 is ok. Mac OS is still way more intuitive, BUT...Windows 10 allows for a lot of nuanced adjustments to my newly built Gaming Rig (which I LOVE). The ability to adjust my software perimeters I find interesting and fun to do, and it is not as much of a headache with Windows 10 PRO 2019 as it was with all versions of Window - 95 thru Vista which is when I last used Windows OS.\n\nThe Install on my Asus mother board and Samsun 970 Plus M.2 drive was EEEEZY and not a hitch. I have updated windows, and aside from my mouse sometimes not being recognized at boot up, it all works as it ought to (unplugging my mouse and then plugging it back in does the trick...a little bit of a bother, but not worth having a justice warrior melt down over).\n\nI attribute the mouse thing to a software conflict somewhere...its a Corsair saber gaming mouse. I never had this sort of issue with Mac OS, BUT I DID WITH MY VERY LAST PC RUNNING VISTA...so, I’m older now...and the little things can be let go of especially if I get to play WORLD OF WARCRAFT. The problem only occurs at boot up, and it only happens 1/10 times, so...(eh...shrug).\n\nI hope this is helpful.

This is an OEM version of WIndows 10. The jacket the DVD is in says it is to be used by people who make PCs for sale, and isn't intended to be used by individuals. So what? I had a freshly formatted HD to install on, but the installer said it couldn't be installed on that drive. So, I deleted the partition and let Windows installer do what it wanted. It created 4 partitions and installed the OS. It shows activated and genuine and looks and acts like any other Win 10 install. Only thing I can figure is that these folks bought in bulk. The price is much less than a consumer packaged version, but you get real Windows 10. It took hours to do all the updates, so don't expect to install it and start using it right away. I hate Windows 10, but with support ended for Windows 7, my only other options were windows 8.1 which is worse or Linux. Some Linux distros are nice, but I use too many windows programs to be able to make the switch at this time. Windows 10 is no where near as intuitive as Windows 7 or even Vista. Altering Windows 10 to make it productive can be done, but it's a pain in the butt. Upgrading seems to work a little better than a clean install, so the best solution is to do a fresh install of 7, set it up as you like and then do the upgrade. This is most valuable when you have multiple PCs networked together. I have 5 that have to talk to each other as well as one that acts as a server/NAS for the others. Edited on 04/0422: An additional warning I just upgraded two of my systems to Dell XPS 8930. Windows 7 will not even install on these machines. Microsoft and Intel have dropped all support for Win 7 on chips newer than Skylake, so all Core iX systems above the 6000 series must be loaded with windows 10 or above. I'd guess that Linux will be a pain to configure also, thanks to secure boot.Read Less

New versions have many more user options than I will ever use but still gets the job done. Had difficulty installing from the disc but was able to download from MS website. Only reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5 was because I haven't had time to use it enought to see if MS has screwed it up and I was disappointed I couldn't install from the disc. Perfect, A+. If my PC has any issues as well, can just use the flash to do a repair or scan. So far I only have a unused OEM version of Windows 10, but always like to have the retail as well. Now currently have Windows 3.1, 98, XP, 7, 10, 11 in both. Never know when I'll use them. 3.1 I can use to emulate through DOSBox and play all the older PC games..Perfect, A+.
