I have been wanting a leaf blower for some time. The thought of a rechargeable battery was appealing. I got onboard with the Ryobi 18v power tools. Having said that, I already had two 18v batteries ready to go from the start. I headed outside to see how it worked. Right off, I appreciated the weight and handling. It seems to be properly balanced. At this time, my yard has dry leaves, so I have not tested it's effectiveness on damp leaves. I was also pleased with the power and force in which it worked. About half way through the enclosed picture, the first battery died. Then I stopped when the second battery died as well. These were fully charged and only used twice before batteries. I am not mad about it though. I knew it would be an issue going in. If I wanted full service , I should get a gas one and I can get it all in one shot. Instead, I think that they focus too much on the power and strength , without considering the power supply. It simply draws too much power to be in the 18v category. It might be better served in the 40v 4ah class. That is what my mower has. I did buy this as the tool only. If I had bought the version with two more batteries and a charger, I would've been upset about the cost and performance.As long as you are not expecting perfection, you should be reasonably happy. Plan ahead for larger jobs though.

I am very happy with the Ryobi One + cordless battery operated leaf blower with variable speed trigger, it is so well balanced and is lite weight to carry around while blowing off my patio and blowing out my garage. The 100 MPH and 350 CFM works great to blow leaf’s, dust and other unwanted stuff off any cemented area’s. I keep it on the patio where I used to keep the broom. After each use, I plug the battery in the charger to get it fully charged for the next time I need to use it. I really like how the trigger allows you to control the air flow to the volume of air needed. The rapid charger gets the battery charged back pretty quick.The 4 amp battery has light bars on it to show how much charge is left in the battery. I can blow off our 10 ft x 35 ft patio and only use around 1 bar, so it does not take long to top off the battery after each use. If you use a broom to sweep off your patio, throw it away a get ya one of these !

Ryobi has plenty of experience in battery powered tools so I had high hopes that this blower would be a winner. I'll mention right off that it doesn't claim to be a heavy duty contender, saying on the box that it's for use on dry leaves and hard pavement. I kept that in mind as I fired it up and only compare it here with smaller, budget-level blowers. It has a few unique features - it's variable speed with a spring loaded trigger, has a comfortable, open-end handle, and it comes with a 4 amp battery. In operation, I get the impression that it's not running at full speed - it feels like a blower this large, heavy, and noisy should have more oomph. In use, it actually does ok on small leaf piles, twigs, light gravel, and berries. It seems to put out a softer flow with a larger target field. Negatives include poor weight balance, inability to stand on end, and a large intake grill that catches my pant leg. The battery lasted 20 minutes from fresh to dead and it didn't fade at the end as others do. However they used a huge wall wart for the charger when it should have just been built into the hollow charging base. It's relatively noisy for a low output blower on high speed and there's a slightly irritating motor screech when starting and stopping. But all in all, it gets the job done and is best suited for small city yards, porches, and patios.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased this blower and have using it religiously all summer. With a strong motor it blows all excess yard waste very easy, it is so strong that even wet grass that is stuck on the patio or sidewalk gets blown away. The battery is very long lasting, it’s never gone dead on me in the middle of my using it. It takes me about 30 mins or so to complete my entire lawn front and back and I’ve done it three times so far without having to recharge. It’s also very easy to store and is clean and efficient. Now I also have Ryobi lawn mower and the great thing is the battery from that also fits the blower. So if I absolutely need an extra battery for either, it’s ready for me. My real test will come next season and see how it holds up after a year of usage but so far, I am very happy with my product.

But I used it for three years and took it as an opportunity to upgrade. Since I already had one battery I figured I may as well go with the same thing, but then I found this. And it's BETTER! It's shorter so it fits in a better place in my garage (where it won't fall like the last one, hopefully), and it's so much stronger. Everything gets blown away, and the battery lasts longer, too. My driveway holds about ten cars and I'm finally able to clear everything with just the one battery, but since I kept the other now I can blow away the back deck too! I have worked in the landscaping industry for nearly 30 years and used many blowers from plug in to pro backpacks. I have several pro ones in my work stuff but sometimes I want something that will move the light stuff but won’t blow medium sized rocks. I tried this out after building my son a new bike jump ramp and it quickly cleared the sawdust with no trouble. I then gave the driveway a quick pass and still had most of the battery left. It is light enough that most people can use it but I would still wear ear protection since I could still hear the whine of the blower with mine on and didn’t want to remove them to test it. The included battery is enough to do a standard residential yard if you are efficient and it was nice not to pull out the gas can.

This saw is the bomb! I live in on a native wooded lot. I was leaning toward the 8" but purchased the 6". Glad I did. I need to cut saplings & invasive honeysuckle bushes plus trim branches. The power is massive! The battery lasts a lot longer than I can. Lightweight is so nice, quiet is a big plus. Cutting Bradford Pear trees as thick as the blade is long with no problem, power to spare. I purchased Ryobi small leaf blower and light spin trimmer several years ago, came with 2-amp battery & charger. The old battery works as well as the new ONE+ and are interchangeable. Bought a syringe at the pharmacy to oil the chain with my own 30-weight and a grease-thing for the blade nose. This Mini Chainsaw is a great value even with import tax tariff added!

There are more powerful 40V models, but wanted something light, and since I already had Ryobi 18V tools, the 350 CFM model was a perfect choice. Very easy to use. Snap in the battery and you're ready to go. The variable speed lever makes it easy to control the blower speed. I've been using a 4mA battery, which is perfect for me as I don't need to use more than 15 min at a time. If you're using for a larger yard, a 6 mA maybe a better choice. Overall very happy with the blower!

Can they ever blow to hard? No. I shouldn’t expect more from 18vdc. It does tasks like blowing off the patio or the inside of my garage. The variable speed trigger is great and it is so light compared to what I had, which was a hand held gasser. It was too loud, dirty, stinky need I go on. Comparatively speaking it is a nice step up from that old ?. Did I mention I already had batteries all over from my other ryobi hand tools so I save my $$$ there. Quiet so quiet and efficient. Yeah, I like it a lot!

I'm glad I did, because this blower really works great. It's MUCH more powerful than my 20+ year old B&D blower that finally died. Why only 4 stars? Well, this blower is a front-to-back straight through blower that can easily suck in your clothes when you're trying to move it around because of the entry at the back. This can make it a bit awkward to use, and it's something to get used to. Still, the kit is worth the money, and I'd probably by it again if I needed to.

I chose the Ryobi 100 MPH 350 CFM blower because it's a lightweight blower that I can grab and use for quick cleanups on my deck. It's lightweight, compact and has become my favorite blower. I use it to keep my sidewalks, porches and garage free from dirt and leaves. Weighing less than 7 lbs. even my elderly mother enjoyed using it. This is a simple blower with a variable speed trigger. Battery and charger included. When it comes to storage, this blower is a winner. It has a keyhole for hanging, or can easily fit inside a deck bench. It has great blow power, making it great for small jobs. I'm impressed with the performance.

For over 10 years, I've been using a Ryobi reciprocating saw with the Milwaukee pruning blades to stay on top my crape mrytles. It's a blue unit, so I would guess 20 years old. Just purchased this one last week. Right away, I was impressed I wasn't dealing with the vibration from a Reciprocating unit, and the work was much faster. Still prefer the reciprocating tool when I was thinning out, but this is the way to go! And a big bonus was when the 15' limbs were at the at the street and had to be cut in half for pickup. The chainsaw worked great. I never took my lopping shears out of the garage!

So we have the 40v and now the 18v. Obviously there is a difference but this 18v version works very well with light debris and is also much lighter than carrying around the 40v version. The 18v is a bit loud and only has the one speed, which you can throttle by pressure on the trigger. There is not turbo mode. This is great for clearing out the garage or deck. The battery lasts at least 20 minutes. We didn’t need to use it longer than that.

Love it. It even came with the larger 4 amp battery so it lasts a good long bit. I got this to replace my smaller one that came as part of a multi-tool kit and this one really moves like twice as much air. Out of the box it was packaged well and all you have to do is slaked the bottom part of the tube until it click-locks into place. That’s literally it! I’m mainly using this for getting crap off the deck and light yard work and the way it’s balanced in my hand it will do me well. It gets a perfect score for now!! There is a high pitch whining noise when starting up the fan but goes away after running to full \r\nThrottle. Has a metal sound. Customer support told me to return it to the store which I did. \r\nSame noise with the replacement. Has to be part of the start up of the motor. Other than that\r\nMoves grass and dry leaves well. I still have a gas one for tuffer jobs. Light weight. for my wife to handle. .

So glad I bought this blower would definitely recommend if in the market for one.

I bought this to help with cutting down a large tree (over 40 feet tall. I was planning on using it for the limbs and smaller branches, but when my chainsaw cut out, I decided to give this simple pruning saw a go and was blown away by one, how long the battery lasted, and two, how much I was able to cut down! I was able to chow down every single extension off the tree until all that remained was the trunk. If you are in the market for a budget option that packs a punch, I highly recommend this one!

I own a cordless Ryobi circular saw and it only made sense since my next two purchases besides the blower is going to be the Ryobi weed wacker. Lots of batteries to have ready to get the job done. Very easy out of box experience, only one tube to attach with little effort. Charge the battery and go go go… I’m impressed with the air flow, the ease of handling, how lite it is in my hand. It easily worked the dry leaves, and yes the wet ones too. Go for the purchase, it wont disappoint.

Unit does have a lot of force, but the bigger unit. Need a second battery… it cost as much as buying a second blower with battery - stupid. Switch on handle isn’t designed for comfort. Holding it down at the same time fighting the battery weight is exhausting if you have more than just a patio to blow.

Bought this blower to blow off the porches, steps and sidewalk after mowing. Does a great job on this. Find it useful for blowing off the sills on the screened in deck too. Excellent for blowing off the riding mower deck! It's one of those tools you don't think you'll use much but find more things to use it for. Only thing I've noticed is a squealing sound when it coasts to a stop, but this may be normal as others have mentioned this, but it works fine. Recommended!

This blower kit by Ryobi comes with the blower, charger, and 4 amp hour battery. It is all you need to take care of general clean up for your yard. I own a home that has a lot of trees that are constantly shedding leaves so I can run this blower for well over 20 minutes and get my yard nice and cleaned up. The trigger is variable speed which is great when I’m making piles. I think for the average size yard this tool gets the job done!!

This Ryobi blower is the best blower I’ve ever used. It’s so easy to use. You just charge it up and then you can blow all the leaves off your garden. You just have to be careful not to blow your flowers out of the ground. I also use it to dry my car instead of paper towels. It last a while on one charge. I can’t even remember the last time I charged it.
