Hard to know what's so much better than other cords at this point. I only bought it because it was recommended by Apple Car Play to use that Apple brand to fix glitches with my Apple Car Play connection in my car. It was more expensive than others but if it works it will be worth it.

I am very careful with my phone and the cord. I've had it for three years. I've had the insurance the whole time and I've never filed a claim. This cord charged my phone a total month before it quit. Buy the apple products for your phone they say. They're more expensive but worth…my fanny. I'm buying the cheapest one I can find here forward.

Worth spending the $20 on a official Apple cord. It last longer and charges fast. The cheaper cords break way to fast and cost about the same if not more with the amount of times they need to be replaced.

Great product, comes with 1 year warranty from Apple which I am happy about because the chargers love to break! Apple should make them more durable. But overall , happy with my purchase and the fast delivery since it was not available for store pickup.

It'll charge…just not very fast. \nAnd AppleCarPlay sometimes works with it, sometimes it doesn't. It is NOT a legit APPLE product, as is evident in the price. \nBasically, u get what u pay for, unless u thought it was lightning fast lol. Bcuz it definitely isn't.
