For the price, this appears to be a sturdy, heavy nightstand. I purchased it online at a Walmart Labor Day Sale after researching the price. The discount was excellent! \n\nThis was a surprise gift to my sister and she appeared to be pleased. I really liked the drawer stops so that the entire drawer doesn't pull out at once. The style is simple in a pleasing shade of what reminded me of barn wood. It's a nice grain coloration of brownish-taupe, grey and a bit of white-wash. It is not hardwood. \n\nThe delivery was very fast; however, I was surprised and disappointed that the box was left at the garage door rather than the nearby front porch with only 1 step. It weighed over 60 pounds so I struggled to push it by myself a about 3 feet into the garage entrance. The porch has a roof over it so it would have been protected from rain which had been predicted. (Wet cardboard is nasty!) When my husband got home, he carried it into the house via the front porch for inspection and everything looked great. The large, thick cardboard container was rugged and well made for protection of the piece. \n\nI would recommend purchasing this attractive, solid nightstand for a starter bedroom, a first apartment, an inexpensive guestroom (the entire bedroom suite is available), a teen's bedroom or a small piece of storage in the family room.
