[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setup was much more difficult than expected, but now that it's complete, I love the TV!\n\nThe setup manual is for multiple models, not just specifically this model. It would have helped to have one diagram that pointed to exactly where the TV controller and the plug for the power cord are.\n\nThe remote didn't work with the TV out of the box. I had to do an AI search to pair the remote. Eventually, I found the remote pairing instructions in the TV remote documentation. If it's something a customer will have to do during setup, it should be in the setup document.\n\nSome online videos produced by the manufacturer for setup would have been helpful: a video for setup, one for TV operations, one for art functions, etc.\n\nThe Wireless Connect Box connected to the TV easily.\n\nAs far as the TV functions go, the picture and sound quality are very good. I assumed I would be buying a soundbar, but don't think I need it! I thought I had heard that the quality of these "Frame" TVs' picture wasn't spectacular, but I think it's very nice!\n\nOnto the "Frame" functionality: The art collection is extensive, but I should probably slow down the rotation time, as I've seen it all within a few days. I decided to spend the money to get the Samsung library of art. It doesn't look like I can make playlists like one would do with music, but I might be able to control what is is shown by putting the pictures in the favorites folder. That should be good enough. I've slowed the rotation time and put a mat on the pictures. I'm having a lot of fun playing with the art.\n\nAll-in-all, this is a great TV for my needs; particularly because I wanted a TV that doubles as a piece of art when not being watched.

I can say that this model does not disappoint in my home. While Samsung makes plenty of better TVs for movies, games, etc., the standout reason for getting this one is the art mode and the matte display. It also serves well as an additional TV when people come over. I love that we can customize the frame (I have an antique gold frame on order) to fit any style you choose.\n\nThe new 43" iteration of The Frame TV mainly includes some new AI-specific features but is largely identical to last year's model. Unfortunately, the 43" version only comes in 60Hz and has the older processor, but the functionality and style definitely make up for it. There's a super cool live translation mode that uses AI to add subtitles to content that doesn't support them or is in a different language.\n\nThe TV, with its brightness/motion sensor, will automatically brighten the display when movement is detected. You can also integrate these sensors into SmartThings to enhance your smart home, such as by turning on various lights, setting an alarm, or displaying custom art.\n\nThe remote, with a solar panel, is super cool and stays charged all the time. The matte and anti-gloss display handles bright environments like a champ, showing no gloss at all.\n\nThe included wall mount and hardware are straightforward and even come with a built-in template to pre-drill your holes. There's also a set of plastic TV legs included, so you can use the TV before drilling holes in the wall for the mount.

We bought it while renovating our living room and honestly, it has become the centrepiece of the whole space.\n\nWe have a electric fireplace/heater underneath the TV, and with the Frame mounted above it, the combination looks fantastic. When the TV is in Art Mode displaying a beautiful portrait or artwork, you almost forget there is a TV on the wall. Guests have actually commented on the artwork before realising its the Tele!\n\nWhat surprised us is how much it changed the way we use the room. We genuinely spend more time together in the living room now, whether we are watching a movie, catching up on a show or just having the artwork displayed in the background.\n\nThe picture quality is excellent, sharp, bright and very natural and the sound has been much better than we expected from such a slim TV. For everyday viewing, we haven't felt the need to add a separate sound system.\n\nBut for us, the best part is still the design. Most TVs become a big black rectangle on the wall when they are switched off. The Frame actually adds something to the room instead. With the heater glowing underneath and artwork displayed above, especially in the evening, it completely lights up the space and gives the room a warm, finished feel.\n\nWe originally bought it because we wanted a TV that wouldn't spoil the look of our new living room. After living with it, we appreciate it even more. We purchased the Frame to mount over our fireplace. It replaced our 13 year old Samsung LED tv. The picture quality is bright and clear. We especially like the Art Mode feature of the Frame tv. The Samsung TV Plus feature gives us access to many channels (no need for our Roku). There many more features that I have not fully explored. I feel that new/fewer button remote makes this TV very difficult to use. Changing from internet streaming to antenna tv requires you to navigate multiple menu screens. I prefer the Source button on older Samsung remotes. Volume and Channel buttons are not well marked and are very difficult to use. To put is simply, I HATE the new remote and screen menus! I made a major discovery. The remote from my old tv works with the new Frame tv. I am able to access most frequently used features like, Source, Volume, and Channel selection. Regarding the installation of the Frame tv. The mounting of the tv over my fireplace created some issues. I built a box inside the wall behind the tv for the One Connect box. I had to run USB and HDMI cables from the One Connect box to a panel mounted below the tv. Overall, we like the Frame tv and its feature. It's just going to take time to figure out how to access and use these features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect Second TV with great Smart Things Integration for Art and remote.\n\nVery easily mounted and the absence of the connect box on the 2026 model means that there's very little that needs doing to your plaster board and surrounding areas. The slimline mounts and retractable feet make connecting power and peripherals (soundbar is a must) very easy. \n\nIn terms of overall picture quality, the matte screen does help with the reflection coming in from our bay window when blinds aren't deployed, with reasonable viewing angles beyond 150°. \n\nI have to say a soundbar is a must. My main TV in the lounge is an S95F running a QS700F system, which I felt was overkill. I paired ours with a Harmon Kardon Enchant 900 (Samsung own HK these days), but sadly doesn't offer Q Symphony integration, not that there was going to be much benefit from the stock downward firing units. \n\nAll in, if you want an art piece, go for it. My Teak bezels should be arriving soon as part of the free promo.

It blends nicely as a frame as well as a TV. The option for art to display is very pleasing to set a mood and make it feel cozy in a room. The physical setup was pretty easy but I definitely needed help to get it out of packaging safety. I had a little bit of trouble getting it set up even with all the QR codes and information. The initial software update took over an hour to download even on a high speed connection. The screen is very skinny so it could easily bend if not held up properly. There is a wall mount as well as standing feet included so you can choose either to hang or set up on a table. I chose to do the initial set up with standing feet until I had everything adjusted and updated.

The Frame TV is perfect for my situation because I have it on a mount which can swivel from the granny flat to outside, which this TV is perfect for. The matte screen is perfect for outside viewing and because the TV has the one connect box I can still have my gaming console connected without the cords getting in the way. I can also view the TV when it is rotated to save space.The only reason this TV does not get 5 stars is because of the sound output.

I should have taken this TV back but it’s already mounted. It looks good on the wall, super thin, have gotten compliments on how it looks. That’s the only nice thing I can say. The menus are ridiculously slow, even after trying to update the software. Imagine an old laptop trying to run Windows 10 slow. It’s like they went super cheap with the memory, CPU, etc. Every time it opens it tries to play Samsung TV+ which you literally couldn’t pay me to watch it’s so bad. No way to stop it. I honestly thought about returning to Best Buy after two weeks but it took me several hours to mount with these absurdly separate wide mounts, watch YT and you can find help if you DIY. The Art mode does not work AT ALL, causes the TV to crash and reset. Honestly not why I bought the TV but it just frankly does not work. When it gets into an app it seems to work fine but even then sometimes the audio gets out of sync. Could be the app or the TV. I love my 65” Q80 in my living room, but there is no way I could recommend this TV. For $1200 I thought I was getting a premium TV, but this will likely be the last Samsung I buy. Purchase at your own risk of getting a lemon like mine.

Great tv! Lots of streaming options and picture choices for when the tv is off. Unfortunately there is a subscription for the picture library. Definitely recommend professional installation for over the fireplace. I have also noticed some audio lag with the Atmos Dolby sound bar. I haven’t determined if it is my bandwidth or a system issue. Overall, it has great picture quality. The matte screen works well in the living room since there are lots of windows.

The screen is as good as my OLED, in my opinion, for the room its in, no direct sun, but quite bright, contrast is good, settings are easy to get around, and having my own photos on the screen when not in use, is really good. Decided it looks just fine on the cupboard, better than too high on the wall, so don't think it has to be hung up!

It would be a five but for a 32 in the decreases the size and added a frame so from replacing one for a new one much smaller in size. That is my only complain. It was easy enough to set up even for someone not to mechanically inclined.
