We bought the 8 x 8 raised bed garden with the deer fence and the kit and instructions were excellent. Once the ground was leveled, I assembled the raised beds portion alone in approximately 5 hrs. I completed the deer fence and gate after filing the beds with soil. Around 3 hrs alone to finish the fence and gate. Highly recommend this kit!! Looks great! Thank you.

This raised bed garden with deer fencing has worked out well for us. It was hard work for 2 people to put together that don't usually put things together. (Ha!) But we managed it. I'm not sure what the total time was to put it together, maybe 8+ hours.\n We made the mistake of adding the soil before we had put on the door and deer fencing. It still worked out ok, but I'd recommend following the instructions and waiting to add soil after it is 100% complete.\n One thing I didn't think about until after our plants started to grow, is that even if deer can not get into the garden, for tomatoes and beans and other vegetables that may grow against the edge of the fencing, the deer could easily reach in and still eat your veggies. Squirrels can also get in pretty easily. \n Overall I am glad I bought it and the company was pretty easy to work with. It was expensive, but for my family, it was worthwhile to have the pieces already measured and partly put together as a kit with directions to follow.

Outstanding product, excellant delivery, packed on a pallet and properly wraped, the individual parts of this kit fit very well, quality materials with the exception of the plastic hinges, I'll replace when they wear out, no big deal. Very happy with this kit, instructions were very clear.

It took me a while to get it built because of landscaper delays. But, it's now complete and although it took some time, the build was relatively easy. The instructions were precise and easy to follow. Because of the delay in construction, we were only able to get a few vegetables in the garden with our shorter Pennsylvania growing season. We're looking forward to a full season next spring. Because of age and arthritis, the raised feature of the garden is an asset in that I don't have to bend over to the ground to plant. The size is perfect for two of us and the plants we like to grow. All in all, we're very pleased with it. The only recommendation I would make, and I made it, would be to provide stainless steel hinges instead of the plastic ones provided, they'll be more durable.

I love the enclosure it prevents the wild rabbits from eating all of my fresh vegetables. It was easy to assemble but it does take two people to make it happen. The one thing that slowed our process down was our uneven ground which is critical in the assembling of this raised garden. I am very pleased with the outcome and plan on using it for years to come.More

Four boxes arrived on a pallet and when they were opened every part was included as intended. Quality of the wood and panel assembly is very high, as is the hardware included, especially the screws and the included driver, though I do worry about the longevity of the plastic gate and end screen hinges. The instructions are well thought out, include written as well as photo guidance and during both assembly and upon completion, I could not have been happier with what obviously is a thoughtfully designed, quality material, Canadian (vice Chinese) product. No difficulties attributable to the product (grading was the big challenge) were encountered at any point during assembly. Communications, delivery expectations and advanced planning as well as assembly instructions from Hayneedle were fantastic, very helpful and much appreciated.

Really loving my new garden. The raised beds are so helpful and it looks great in my back yard. I’ve covered mine with fine netting to keep the birds off my fruit bushes so I’m hoping that I will be able to harvest some berries for the first time this year.

I was worried about the quality of wood but it was in perfect shape. My husband put this together alone in about 1/2 days time but that also included leveling the ground. He did not install gate we didn't see a need too -it wouldn't keep out anything that can crawl up sides. I stained it to match our cedar sided house. Instructions tell you to fill with 28 (I believe) yards of dirt. We put in firewood then with bark then top organic gardening soil to save money. Luckily we had our older sons to help. Figure out how you will access bed to fill it. Make sure to have a place to put pallet of boxes for delivery. Also mark out where this would be placed we found it helpful.

I've replaced a 10""-high raised bed. The kit instructions are easy to follow. Assembling the bed is a one-person job taking about 3-4 hours. It is critical to have the ground level before assembly so the gate sits correctly between front wall pieces. Also, ensure the assembly is square before installing the internal braces. This is easily done using the measurements contained in the instructions. I had enough dirt saved from our old bed to fill the top 12 inches of the bed. I used 40 bags of topsoil (easier than ordering fill and having to shovel it twice) in the first 8"". The only downside-the hinges are plastic. I anticipate replacing them in the near term.

I assembled it myself . I needed a little help from my husband to get it in to place and level, but the rest was easy. Instructions were clear and all the needed pieces were there and easy to identify. It holds a lot more soil t gat I realised so several trios to buy organic soil and compost. A few weeks later I have 3 kinds of squash, 5 kinds of tomatoes, carrots onions, cucumber, green beans snow peas, spinach and lettuce. I also have raspberries and blue berries, all in the raised bed!\nIt looks beautiful too
