[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am enjoying my new Samsung washer, especially playing with the many cycle options it has and using the App. Some highlights of the features of the washer in this set are as follows -\n1) Ability to download cycles is unique. the set up was easy to follow\n2) The washer is very large capacity. This is helpful for large families or bulky items. \n3) There are multiple setting and temperature features. This is very handy if you need to vary cycles to to content of the fabric. You can change the temp, speed of cycle, rinse cycles.\n4) I really like the ability to add more rinse cycles - this is helpful if someone has sensitive skin. \n5) I like the ability to delay the wash periods as well. Having a smart washer is a handy and unique feature. \n6) It is relatively quiet to operate\n7) I like that it is energy efficient and seems to use the minimum amount of water required.\n8) There is a detailed manual that prints online that gives detailed instructions on how to operate the washer. This is easy to read and handy - it would have been great if this was included so I did not have to print or download and save, but it is helpful and not printing saves trees.\nSome of the characteristics I think could use improvement -\n1) While I like the capacity of the washer - it is very tall and I cannot reach the bottom of it without a stool. This is a significant disadvantage. I am 5'4" or reference, but I don't think a 5'6" person could reach the bottom either. The design needs to be flattened a bit - it is just too tall.\n2) The quick cycle only works with small loads. - it references 4lbs in the manual, but what does that mean? it takes a lot of clothes to make 4 lbs - is that wet clothes. I tried to quick wash a down blanket and the top would not get wet so obviously it did not get clean. There needs to be a quick cycle for heavy items.\n3) I am still experimenting with super speed, but the cycle times are very long.\n4) The soap dispenser stays wet - I have not had a problem with odor yet, but I am concerned about that.\n\nOverall, I think this washer has met my expectations so far. There are a few items above that I think can use improvement. However, overall the clothes seem to come out clean. The set looks very nice and modern. The washer is very large capacity which is excellent. I have not had any issues with stains not coming out the first wash. Overall, I think Samsung has made a good washer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not know that having a smart washer was going to change the mundane task of washing clothes into something everyone at home would enjoy. This is a big boy of a washer that can wash a load twice as big as our old 15 year old washer could. It also so silent. The silence is unheard of. LOL. Our old washer was on the second floor and the vibration was very noticeable. We can tell when the washer was done when we had silence downstairs. This new Samsung washer it is totally silent. It is mainly due to the rubber feet that reduce sound. This smart washer connects to your WIFI and will work with SmartThings and Alexa. If you have echo speakers around your house you can set it up to be notified by Alexa when the washer is done. You can also be alerted every 30 minutes about a finished load in your washer. Very handy for individuals who are forgetful about laundry. We've all been there we load the washer and get preoccupied with the kids or other chores. Then when we realize there was a load in the washer and we have to rewash it again. This feature will save you time and money. The simple settings are a no brainer to use. It is just a knob that you turn to choose the type of clothes you are washing. The auto dispenser will dispense the detergent automatically. The washer will weigh your clothes and dispense the correct amount of water. No more forgetting to change the previous setting and having your clothes not wash properly. If you want to control more of the settings you can there are buttons for temp, spin cycles, rinse and soil. This washer does take longer to wash the clothes than my old washer but it uses way less water and less detergent since it uses HE detergent. I have no complaints when my water bill comes in and it is way less than my previous bill. If you are in a hurry and need to wash clothes fast it does have a quick wash button that will wash clothes in 28 minutes.

Was installed by Best Buy. Installer tried running it without turning the water on. We spent the next 20 minutes blindly hitting buttons with nothing working. He told me that Best Buy clearly sent me a dud washer and that we’d have to wait another week to receive a different washer. Said it clearly had a bad computer module. In the middle of explaining to me how to make a return online the washer rose from the dead and started working on its own like a specter. We ran a test cycle and he changed his tune about the washer and said it just must have been cold from being on the delivery truck...
So after coming from a broken washer, this was not the start I was hoping for. But we’ve ran multiple loads since and it’s been working phenomenally since they left. A nice upgrade from our 3.2 washer. This ones spin cycle leaves the clothes so dry that our drying time has been cut nearly in half.

I should have given it a 3. The “sensor” that determines how much water is needed is inaccurate! My clothes are barely covered with water unless I “fool” it and set it on deep wash. Even then, the water level isn’t sufficient.\nBeing used to an agitator decades, I’m not sure I like the comparatively very slow swishing back and forth of the impeller. The top clothes don’t make it all the way to the bottom of the drum for proper cleaning. \nIf a unit has a sensor, and if the sensor is accurate, why should I have to trick it into using more water?\nI’m not happy with my purchase and would return it if I had paid for it with a Home Depot card. I actually didn’t know that was the policy as I wasn’t told during check out. While the young salesman was polite, I had the feeling he didn’t really know too much about the machine.

Coming from a 3.5 cu.ft Samsung front load washer to this 5.5 cu.ft top load Samsung washer has been a dream change. My wife complained about her back because of having to bend over for the front load, but now is pleased with this top load. I have used it several times as well and it is a joy to use. It's quiet and I appreciate all the features built into it. I especially like the wireless connectivity which lets me know that my load is done since the unit is in the basement and I can't really hear the chime go off. No more damp clothes sitting around until the next day where it has to be washed again! Having the active water jet feature is nice to have, you don't know it until you try it. Being able to pre soak a stain and then use the water jet to help active the stain remover before it goes into the load is helpful (no more using the bin sink and getting water on the floor while you transfer the item to the washer). I've used normal wash, quick wash, and bedding / waterproof setting so far and It uses the correct amount of water needed based on the size of your load. It also appears to give suggestions on wash cycle (temp, rinse, spin) based on that load size. I made some corrections but it was pretty good at determining my needs. My review is based on the model with the impeller. I have been very happy with all my Samsung products in which I have a several. (65" OLED S90D, 65" The Frame TV, Odyssey G8 OLED Ultra wide monitor , washer / drier, Active 2 watch, and Refrigerator)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We loved the no center agitar. My husband loved the capacity. The very first load I could tell the clothes were cleaner, smell better. We don't use any scent beads or fabric softener just Tied soap. I like the soak feature, it does help get stains out. Especially with the smart wash does take the thinking & having to sort. Always forget to check for them. The self cleaning feature I'm grateful for. I have sensitive skin. Nothing bothers him. Won't wash my husband's clothes with mine. With this one I trust it's ok. The Wi-Fi feature is also helpful. I forget about clothes being in the washer. It's so quiet. But with the app I get a notification on my phone, which reminds me.(; The water jet inside is helpful. I couldn't imagine not having that in my life. Something to be aware of, is the size of your dryer. Like a half a load in this washer, would take two separate loads to dry. Unless you're like my husband just put it all in the dryer. Just run the dryer hotter & longer. I'm 5'9" never thought about having difficulty reaching in the washer unloading it. But the sloped front is for sure nice. My whites come out so white. Even without bleach. I have a septic tank so I don't use bleach much at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung washing machine is sleek looking with a slanted tinted top. The interior is stainless and has an agitator. The size is just right. Not too big or small and will hold the right amount for a load of laundry.
It seems to be quieter than older versions. The machine runs smoothly, and is quiet. There are good upgrades and improvements that Samsung has made. Such as more plastic and less metal that'll rust out in the machine. Quieter and a smarter machine. The smart function is spectacular. The smart things app will connect your washing machine to all of you Samsung devices. You can check the progress of the load that you are washing. It'll alert you when the load is complete.
The washing modes in my opinion are not an upgrade. For being an energy efficient machine there are no more eco, towel or a cold only modes. Plus the time of most modes on average are about an hour. Add an extra rinse and that is another 34 minutes. If your using the Heavy duty mode it'll run for an hour and 34 minutes. These modes seem inefficient and excessive to me. But on the other end a quick wash will take 31 minutes.
All in all this washing machine is average and decent for the price.

The only reason im not giving a full 5-stars is because of the time it takes for initial startup. I understand, due to the electronic sensors, it takes a little longer to initialize, but I do wish it would start washing as soon as the cycle starts. That being said, I absolutely love this product! It has thorough wash, rinse, and spin cycles. Each wash setting is customizable.

We have had the washing machine for a couple of months now. The presets are nice and the delayed end is convenient for folk who are on time of use billing with their utilities. Our favorite feature is the size of the drum as you can put a LOT of clothes in there. Our only reservation at this time is the inability to wash larger comforters. They fit but the washing machine gets off balance which is a pain to deal with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Samsung electric dryer has been working non-stop, it seems. We do laundry at least a few times a week, so the dryer has been tested well. It exceeded our expectations. 1. The drying time has been cut immensely. No matter which 'drying level' I choose, the clothes are dry very fast. I like to hang some of my clothes while they are still damp, but with this dryer I didn't get the chance, because the cycle would end so quickly. 2. The number of cycles and variety of options are great for our family. Depending on the fabric, occasion, type of garment, we can choose the appropriate settings that fit our needs. So far, they have all been great. 3. Looks: the dryers stands tall and looks nice. I was worried about the white look, but now I am happy about it. It looks modern and elegant. 4. Dryer's capacity is enormous! Lots of clothing normally would mean lots of separate cycles and time wasted, but with this dryer we save time, money and energy.

We knew we wanted a top load with an agitator and this was a perfect model for our family\u2019s needs. It really cleans clothes efficiently . We use it nearly everyday and it\u2019s so easy to use. We are so happy with the results from using this washing machine. Our old machine was giving us issues with oil stains and also the fur from our pets was not removed by using previous machine. We no longer have those issues with this machine. We are so impressed. We love the settings and ease of use. Even our older parents figured out how to use the machine even though it was not a dial control option like our previous machine. We look forward to hearing the song at the end of each load. Additionally, we love that the lid locks which is very child safe. We would definitely recommend to all our friends and family members and are considering purchasing a Samsung dryer soon.

It uses less water than our previous washer. It has a view window (which the kids love). It can determine the amount inside which makes it more efficient. A very nice machine.\nI have used the many different cycles from heavy to light to spin and rinse. All of them are great!. \nThe washing machine holds two full laundry baskets, it is really massive. \nWhen thinking about my old washer, I can not believe we used such a model. This is far superior in capacity, sound, cleaning , and water usage. \nBy far the best feature is that it can sense how large of a load is in the machine. I use it every single time.\nIt makes washing clothes easier. It is nice to see through the top to see how things are going as well.
