This thing really blows, and that's a good thing. I've been used to using a week, underpowered 20 volt blower that was okay but this new Ryobi blower is way more than twice as powerful. Also, since I already had a Ryobi 40 volt trimmer, I now have two batteries and two Chargers and that has been a game changer. The one one design flaw is the air intake for the blower is on the back and quickly grabs my shirt if I point the blower away from my body. It's just something you have to be aware of and it can be worked around by always having the blower across your body, though that's not a natural position.

Decent power/strength as mid-tier Ryobi blower. Wide radius when running, covers good width from center moving material quickly out of way. Only 20 min Runtime at full speed on standard battery pack. Need a 2nd 40v pack if using full power for larger property or tasks. Intake vacuum is huge on backside wants to eats shirt clothing if too close to it so positioning the blower on side or away from your body is necessary. Could use a bit more power or a turbo button for extra power when needed but next tier Ryobi up would likely solve this if needed.

I've had three different 40V Ryobi tools - chainsaw, lawnmower, and this blower. So the tools (probably) still work. They were nice, although runtime wasn't great. This is due to the heat of the problem - Ryobi's 40V batteries, which are so incredibly bad that I cannot begin to describe my frustration. I've got about 8 Ryobi 18V tools of varying age and could not be happier with them - runtime is good, and I have yet to have a single battery fail. The litium batteries are better than the older ones but the backward compatibility makes even that a non issue. For the 18V line, Ryobi is perfect for homeowners - reasonable price, good runtime, good reliability.\nFor the 40V line, the batteries are the weakness. Of the 4 different 40V batteries I've owned, zero are still working (and Ryobi warrantied one of them for the lawnmower). There saddest part is that almost all of the 18V batteries I have are older than the 40V, and have seen much rougher use. \nMy suggestion to Ryobi would be either completely rework the 40V battery packs or just move to a 2x18V setup. The litium batteries are light enough. \nAs for the 40V line, I will not be buying any more of them, and certainly cannot recommend them to anyone. Replacing a $200 battery to run a $150 tool just doesn't make sense.\nThanks for listening to my rant.

The RYOBI 40V Cordless Blower delivers strong airflow and efficient performance, but the handle design could be more ergonomic. Extended use can feel uncomfortable due to its grip angle and weight distribution—probably a shoulder strap or belt would help. That said, I still highly recommend it! I love this brand and own several RYOBI tools—they always deliver great quality and performance.

I picked this model up as a truck driver and it cuts the time down by roughly 35 minutes over using my push broom I like the variable speed trigger the only few things I don't like are the angle cut on the underside tip blows debris back towards you, the tiny tab charger it comes with and the charge time can be long without a fast charger other than that it's a decent unit.

This cordless leaf blower works great for everyday yard cleanup. It’s lightweight, easy to handle, and has solid power for leaves and small debris. The only downside is that the battery life could be a bit longer when using the high setting. Overall, a very good tool for the price and perfect for small to medium yards.

If you’ve been thinking about going electric, do it!! I bought this Saturday night and had it Sunday morning. After charging it up, I went outside and was able to trim my whole yard (that hadn’t been trimmed in months) before switch the battery to the blower and getting the front drive way blown off before needing to recharge it. If you’ve been wondering if these things work? They definitely do. You can even order stronger/longer lasting batteries. Do it!

I'm a do it yourself kind of lady. I love yard work. I was willing to keep raking by hand. But as the years go by I was looking for some help. Decided to pick a leaf blower.I was very happy when I received my new blower. It's light weight and easy to use. The battery charges fast ,and last along time, enough time for me to get the job done. I would say to know what job you're going to tackle before you bring this bad boy out! You can feel the air being thrusted forward and the blower itself gets pushed back. I love my new blower. Gets rid of all the shavings and debris in my way or on my path.

I purchased my Ryobi blower from Home Depot. I like that it is lightweight (easy on the elbows) and the battery is compatible with my Ryobi edger / weed eater . I find the battery that it came with 40v 4.0 does the job well and running it on medium speed gets alot done ( blow leaves for a average size front yard as the blower is very powerful. Also not very loud at all.

I love this blower because it delivers exceptional power and precision, allowing me to thoroughly and efficiently clean behind my shed. My neighbors were so impressed that they asked me where I purchased it, and now every one of them has acquired one. As a result, our backyards are noticeably cleaner and more well-maintained. The 40V 550 CFM blower is a game-changer! It offers gas-like power (120 MPH) for clearing heavy, damp leaves and debris, all with cordless freedom and low noise. I am ashamed at how many Ryobi products I have. You would be astonished. I would love to be one of your product testers.

It works great , we like the power how it cleans all the leafs , very powerful as we expected and it comes with battery and charger which we love it . I picked up this unit at local home depot store. I fully charged the battery for at least 4 hrs. Test it and here is my evaluation. 1. The noise is too high 2. It didnt last 20 minutes . I used and test in blowing the leaves in my house gutters. 3. The unit doesnt have a “turbo” button to control speed (to prolong battery use). 4 . It doesnt have adjustment on handle angle 5. The power trigger is not sturdy. The model this unit Im comparing with is RY40407VNM. Update seems a downgrade.

I clean parking lot to assist SSI this machine allows me to work and commercial environments that normally wouldn't allow a blower in there front door so the noise orders it's powerful and extreme looks like it has a battery the batteries are really well. run time is Superior.

Bought this to replace a corded leaf blower. Love it! One issue - I am a 72 yr old grandmother and I am having a hard time disassembling the nozzle piece. I want to store it in its box, then in the garage. Any ideas on how to make it essier to pull apart? WD-40 maybe? Thx!

This is a great pair of tools to upgrade your weed wacking performance. Trimmer is powerful, well-balanced, and easy to refill the spool with line. The blower is a variable speed powerhouse to move all the junk out of your way. Battery is 40 volt. Perfect pairing.

battery does'nt last long

OMG! This RYOBI Leaf Blower is super charged! It charges super quick and stays charged depending on how long you use it, but stayed charged for 4 straight days product is incredible out with the old ( gas n oil) in with the new!

Wow! This thing is almost hard to hold back! My old electric one doesn't blow half as much! I'm thrilled that the 40v battery from my Ryobi lawnmower fits this blower! I can get my whole lawn looking great all on one battery!

Super easy to use. Lightweight and manageable. Quiet. Good power with force! Made cleaning up in the fall a breeze. Love that the batteries fit all my equipment and quick and easy to charge.

Bought this to handle fall leaves. It performs great! Should have purchased earlier, would have saved me a lot of raking. Took just 2 minutes to cleane up the leaves under my apple tree.
