Setup was very quick, and it was helpful to do most things through the app. I love the touch screen, but it would be helpful to be on something that can tilt so you can see the screen better when standing so you don't have to crouch down. For taking the cardboard pieces out of the trays, I was worried I might break something so would like more direction for taking those out. I tried scanning a document and after a couple times realized that there was foam on the glass so I'm not sure if I missed a step. I love that it has two paper trays and has the capability to print on 11x17 paper which will really help when printing spreadsheets. Printing from my phone is very quick and easy. This printer will be very helpful when working at home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little hesitant to get this printer because I already have an Hp printer but I'm glad that I did. The setup process was easy and simple. Setting up through the app and a few clicks on the printer and done. The printing speed is amazing. I have to print out a lot of invoices, envelopes, checks, charts, spreadsheets, etc… on a weekly basis. As easy as 1,2,3 and the print jobs are done. This printer is a lot quieter than my previous printer and it makes a difference. I do have the instant ink and paper service. Is it worth it? I get very busy at times and it's one less thing to worry about. Ink cartridges and paper are delivered right to my front door automatically when I'm running low. I'm not constantly checking ink levels or paper amounts and I even don't have to place an order. It is a subscription based service with different plans and it's worth every penny to me and my business. So honestly I would recommend this printer to anyone who has a small business. The speed, color quality especially with photos and charts, are remarkable . I really don't have anything negative to say about this printer. Some people may not like the large size of the printer but it is to be expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried this printer and have found it to be very easy to use from unpacking to setup, the wifi was quickly detected and had no hangups in staying connected.. i was able to print from my mobile devices such as ipad and phone using the hp smart print app\nthe installing of the ink cartridge was easy, i would have like it to print a bit faster for the size of it, the paper feeder is smooth so far the only downsize is the speed, and i ran into trouble with paper jams twice so far and i get an error message when shutting down the printer

I've had several Printer, Scanner, Copiers over the years. However, to get my hands on one what does large format printing as well has been awesome! \nSetting this printer up was easy. I followed the step by step instructions from the QR code. Once I did that I was able to connect into my HP Smart account. But WAIT. What is the HP+ they prompted me on. I had to take some time to learn these features also. HP+ took the experience to another level. It's like having a personal assistant for your printer. The automatic ink ordering means I never run out of ink, which is a lifesaver. Plus, the enhanced security features keep my data safe, which is a huge plus in today's world. The cloud-based printing lets me print from anywhere, whether I'm at home, at the office, or on the go. It's like my printer is always with me.\nOverall, The print quality is awesome. I've some to expect that from HP printers. I was able to print pictures, documents, and a flyer for Promo. Consider me pleasantly surprised by this printers versatility and features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Times have changed and working from home more has necessitated a printer/scanner with more capabilities and the HP 9730e has not disappointed. Installation was easy and it was connected and running in no time. The 9730e has two paper trays so I don't have to keep switching when I need different sizes. I am able to send documents from any device with ease because of the Wi-Fi connection. Also, having a multi-page document feeder for the scanner saves so much time over smaller units that require you to manually place each page. I am also working on a project to preserve older reference materials and the wide-format scanner can handle many larger books and charts in one pass instead of several smaller scan that need to then be combined. The touchscreen controls on the 9730e are a breeze to use and the menus are easy to follow. The 9730e produces quality prints quickly and quietly. This is my first time using the HP Instant Ink service and I am looking forward to not having to worry about shopping for ink cartridges any longer. Overall, I am thrilled with the quality and capabilities of the 9730e.

my first h p printer is so far good and does work well after setup it took a while to set it up properly and some aspects of this process were easy and some were confusing no complete instruction manual was included you have to go on line to get and you can not print it out because the printer is not set up when one pays for something as good as this printer a good hard copy manual i feel is a must have thing still have not recieved my first ink catridges yet and am running out of ink now\nQuality insights are 2-3 sentences long.

First thing I love about this printer, is that it holds a lot of paper. I can also put two types or colors of paper in it if needed. That is huge, it holds almost a whole ream of paper, it's great! My next favorite thing is it lasts a LONG time. I have printed so many pages! I am not sure the exact number, but it is in the hundreds. I can replace just the color that I need, example, I run out of black obviously first, but if I run out of blue, I can replace just blue, if I run out of yellow, I can replace just that, etc. It is large in size, but it has to be for all it does. I can copy, print, email, scan, and get this! I can print from a different location. I can print even when I am not near my printer, it can connect remotely and print to be there later. Amazing! I have hooked it up to my laptop and my phone, and can print from both through wifi. I am happy, this is a life changing machine for my job. Not having to continuously replace ink and put paper in makes all the difference.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do a lot of printing at home for crafts, personal use, and I'm working on starting a business. This printer has handled everything I've thrown at it so far really well. From printing on sticker paper to printing my notes on 4x6 index cards it's been great. With anything smaller than letter size I do have to manually print on both sides of the paper but that's expected from most printers, especially large format ones. I can't wait to get a hold of some tabloid size paper and start making my own planner books. The print quality is fantastic. It prints color and b/w very quickly. It's fairly quiet for its size. Having two paper trays has made my life significantly easier, I can keep standard letter size paper in one tray and use the second for the odd size stuff. I change it on the printer when I swap it out because it prompts me and it auto selects the proper tray when I print from my computer. Being able to print from my phone and iPad is also great, no having to email documents to myself.

This printer really does print beautifully. I’ve been printing out some artwork and with Matt paper of no more than 130gsm and the colours are true to the image, including on A3 paper of the same type. The printer won’t take heavy papers but there is no need to use them. I encountered a few teething problems with the set up such as loading trays, printing double sided. I found it easier to Google the printer make and the type of problem than it was to find the solution on the HP Smart app, perhaps a in invidual thorough set up for each printer could be made standard in the menu. It is a big printer so can’t be moved and needs space, but I plan to make a lightweight decorative box for the sides and front to make it fit in more with the home environment. Great price and actually got 6 months instant ink free because I joined the HP Smart app. (100 pages per month which can be rolled over to the next) I’ve been a member of instant ink for a while and can recommend it, especially for people who may be printing out photos and using lots of ink.

Early days but seems to offer what I want. I'm not a business user just a home user that wants the ability to print and scan A3. This is a replacement for an earlier model that has just broken and not cost-worthy to repair - would be nice to know if there's anywhere I can donate in case someone wants to repair or use for spare parts, together with the rather expensive toner cartridges i'd bought for it, just before it decided to pack-up!

I have needed a new printer for a long time but held of because of the cost of supplies. This printer was very attractive because of the cost-effective auto-ink refills. I love that! The quality of the prints look really clear and saturated with color. I love how sharp the lines are. This is a multi-function printer with several useful features. The first thing I love it the ability to print on 11x17" paper so I can now print posters. I also love how fast the scan and copy functions work. You can either feed the paper through the top feeder or you can open the large flatbed scanner. Something very useful is the ability to print on both sides of the paper automatically without having to manually do it. The setup was very easy and we had it connected to the app in no time.

The HP 9730e all-in-one was very easy to set up. Then I had 2 problems with the functions: 1st, the default for printing was in black and white. It took some time to find how to correct it. The 2nd was more frustrating. My primary reason for purchasing the HP 9730e was for scanning. HP Smart did not have all of the choices as my HP 7740 all-in-one's HPScan has for making changes, such as cropping different sizes of pages in the same scan document. Researching on the HP site, I found, downloaded and installed HP Scan, which is almost identical to my HP 7740 all-in-one's HPScan.\n\nI am now delighted with the HP 9730e with one exception. My HP 7740 wide format's maximum document size is 11.5 x 14, and the HP 9730e wide format's maximum document size is 8.5 x 14.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While we intended to use the 9370e for our business needs, it turns out that its also an excellent printer for home use. When not printing documents, I've actually used it frequently for photos which is prints with awesome quality. The prints come out so nice that at a normal viewing distance, you couldn't really tell the print apart from an actual photo when put inside a picture frame. \n\nWhat rounds all of this out is the fact that I can print pictures from the convenience of my phone and don't even need to interface with a computer at all since the app is so fully featured and intuitive.\n\nOverall the 9370e has been a fast, reliable, and high quality printer for us.

It served me well for many years and handled numerous tasks efficiently. However, my work now requires a newer and more powerful all-in-one machine. Therefore, I upgraded to the HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e.\n\nI am very pleased with this upgrade. The print speed and quality have both improved, and it offers better support for mobile devices, allowing me to print from any client. The only downside is its larger size, which is understandable since it can now print larger A3-sized documents.\n\nOverall, I am very happy with this printer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 9730 printer I’ve used for few days and did a lot of test prints using various material, since it’s using pigment based ink so the print is more crisp and can be printed on much wider material variety than dye based ink. The paper tray is extendable if need to print 11*17. The print speed is quite fast and I have test soft thick cotton paper it works super well which my last printer definitely can not do. The printer’s screen is bigger than my older model make operating much accessible and easy, I’m pretty satisfied with this printer!
