if only Apple made things that could survive more than one generation, now there are at least four different Apple Pencil models that I can think of when you include the new USB-C version that can work with the M4 iPad Pro! I was extremely disappointed when I bought my couple thousand dollar 13 inch, 2 TB M4 iPad Pro and my previous Apple Pencil for the sixth generation 12.9 inch wouldn't work. It wouldn't even stick to the magnet attachment, Apple obviously purposely outdated the product in order to come up with a so-called pro pencil and, while the taptic feedback is nice, it is not justifiable that they couldn't have made it compatible with the previous generation.\n\nObviously, I understand that the first Apple Pencil is obsolete but for a sixth generation iPad Pro, 12.9 inch, 2 TB, again a $2,000 device, now I have to include another pencil in my collection which now has three for my iPad Pro 12.9 inch 2nd Generation , my iPad Pro 12.9 inch 6th Generation and my 13 inch M4 iPad Pro. \n\nIt's crazy how Apple designs timed obsolescence into their products, particularly accessories, and how you get ripped off with crap like this although I have to say, for completeness and full honesty, the new pencil does work wonderfully and has improved very much from the beginning, but there is very little I can tell different between this one and the previous generation other than the tactic feedback as I mentioned. Perhaps the battery life is a little better and the newer Bluetooth version permits much better hovering ability, as well … but I still feel ripped off.

This pencil was made for the serious iPad user. There are many pencils out there that can be used with iPads. However the only feature the non Apple pencils can boast of is lower prices. None of these second market less expensive pencils come close to matching the performance, functionality, and convenience of the real Apple Pencil. I know, I’ve tried several of them. Don’t be fooled with the promise of these less expensive pencils and get the real thing. The real value in the Apple Pencil is in all it does for the users without compromise.

I bought this as a gift for my mom and she loved it. I was a bit skeptical of getting it because I've seen some reviews of the Apple pen not work for some people. If you are considering getting it check the apple website to see what Ipad models it's compatible with. Other than that the pen works great and it is easy to use. It was bit hard to figure it out after my mom opened the packaging but after looking up the manual of how to connect it, it was a breeze after that. It's a great buy and definitely would recommend to anyone.

I love this pencil!! The features on this pencil are like no other stylus/pen I've ever tried. I pair my apple pencil with an iPad mini 7 and I am gagged. I feel like I have a new toy that fits in every pocketbook that I own and in some of my pants pockets. Precision and accuracy are so high-tech. I feel like I'm holding the future in my fingertips. I've had the the 2nd gen pencil prior to owning the pencil pro and I am impressed how much of an upgrade developers made with the new pencil pro. I love the squeeze feature.

Love all the features that this has on the iPad.. I have found that the find my feature isn't very accurate, unsure if that is the pencil itself or the iPad though.i do wish that there was a choice with different tips for the feeling of writing with different materials. But still, this is by far the best stylus. The pressure sensitivity is absolutely wonderful and if you pair it with a paper feel screen protector it feels so much more like writing on paper. After this no other stylus will ever do.

If you have the newest version of the iPad where Apple Pencil 2 works, you have to get it! It works like a dream and changes the experience of using the iPad entirely. I find myself using this on my new iPad with the M2 chip more than I do on my laptop at times. It's that good! Don't get this if you have an older iPad since you can't take full advantage of its key features. It goes on sale from time to time on BestBuy's site or just pull the trigger on purchasing it. You won't regret it!

The Apple Pencil Pro is what I would describe as the definitive product for people who take notes with their iPads, as well as a drawing pencil due to it having pressure sensitivity. Since I am IPad mini 7, the pencil has been useful when I'm taking notes, drawing graphs, or highlighting text in a notebook. If you see yourself drawing with care, then this pencil is the best thing to get with your iPad.

It works really well. However , if you don't intend on using the extra features the pro gives you you are better served getting the cheaper option. I bought the 17 dollar variant and it works just as well and you don't need Bluetooth to get it to work and the variant has an indicator light for battery status and the variant has different colors.

The feeling of writing with it is very pleasant. So far, I have not had any problems with the pen. He writes very accurately and I don't see any major flaws. Since the pen tip slides smoothly on iPad I was not able to write as I would write with pen on paper. Since then I have tried remarkable and their pen feel is more paper like. They can even search on my handwritten notes without conversion to text!\n\nNothing against Apple pen, I just could not make it work.
