After owning 5 or 6 over the last dozen years, our last one finally gave up the ghost after 5+ years of making 2-3 pots of coffee a day (at home). We went with the 14 cup (not as fancy as past ones we’ve had). Unfortunately the power button didn’t like us and decided to stop working. I called Cuisinart service, explained issue, gave them the necessary information and sent a picture of the cut power cord via reply to their email. A new one is already in their system to send us a new one. Finding a coffee maker that can make the amount of coffee I drink is not easy (2-3 pots a day). My last Cuisinart coffee maker lasted over 5 years and although this new one had a issue, Cuisinart service listened to me, took down the necessary information (I did register it with them), and a new one is already in their system to ship it to us. Is it an issue, yes of course, you purchase a new product you don’t want it to stop working a week in, but it happens and you handle it. And cuisinart stands behind their products. So I know it is just a part of life and I look forward to the new one arriving as my 12 cup inexpensive travel one I have had for years for hotel stays is not an at home coffee maker for someone who enjoys drinking coffee, but it will work for the week until my new one arrives. After I use it for a month I’ll update my post, but I can say that I really liked the 14 cup coffee maker verses the 12 cup. Yes it’s not as fancy, but I want coffee and at my old age of 72, it’s my drink of choice. The unit looked good. I liked that I could see the water fill marker on the side very clearly, it has a timer for up to 4 hours on, a timer to auto start, clock and a few other goodies, but that’s why I stepped down from the fancy models, I just want it to make coffee and last like my last one which I’m sure it will. I do recommend Cuisinart even with this minor issue. But it shows how much they care and service has my new one already in the system in less than a day.

I paid more for this coffee maker than I ever have in the past because it was rated as one of the top models by CR for coffee makers under $100. I have been pleased with the flavor of the coffee it brews and with the ability to adjust the temperature (low, medium, high) of the coffee during the "keep warm" period. The automatic brew feature works as expected, allowing the coffee maker to turn on any time in a 24 hour period.\n\nI can't really comment on the effectiveness of the included permanent filter as I use paper filters because I don't like "sludge" in my coffee. As an aside, this requires cone shaped paper filters (4 included) that are more expensive than basket filters, but seem to do a better job than the inexpensive basket filters I have used with other coffee makers.\n\nI don't drink iced coffee so I don't know how well that feature works. My suspicion is that this feature simply prevents the warming plate from turning as the coffee brews over ice in the carafe.\n\nThe carbon water filter (replace every 60 days) is supposed to remove chlorine and other elements to provide better tasting coffee. However, because I have a whole house carbon filter, I can't speak to its effectiveness.\n\nThe only real complaint I have is that the display is quite dim and is virtually unreadable in bright ambient lighting conditions. Especially when the display auto dims after a period of time.

Like the title says I like coffee and a lot of it. Not a fan of those type pod type machines. They seem to have such a little coffee in them, anything more than a tea cup is just watered down. Then of course, just more plastic in the landfill. Usually. in the morning I make 6 cup, which I guess is 1 1/2 times my 20 ounce Tumbler can take. Enough that I can have some as I'm getting ready to leave for the day for the car. This is the only one I was ever able to find that I can adjust the temperature which in my case is always the hottest. This has three settings, but why don't you not want it to be hot? This Cuisinart is 14 cups, which is great especially when I have people over and I'm usually going through two of them, and sometimes three at night with a bunch of friends and family. Add coffee and water fast. No flimsy plastic parts that have to be aligned carefully. Also has a charcoal filter that is great since I have well water. I'm sure this helps it quite a bit and the coffee tastes better. This unit has a three year warranty and this is my second unit after I broke the carafe on the first unit after over six years of having it, was time for a new one. I picked up the same exact model. You won't be disappointed.

I bought this to replace a 5 year old Cuisinart 12 cup coffeemaker that had died. \r\n\r\nI went with this model for its large 14 cup capacity and its aesthetics (stainless feint & sides). I found that cleaning the black plastic sides top with Lemon Pledge keeps the unit looking nice. \r\n\r\nThe “Bold” button and the “1-4” cup settings make it easy to brew a stronger cup of coffee. The new “shower head” design does a better job of saturation all the coffee grounds, rather than having a single exit point for the heated water. \r\n\r\nIt is easy to set the clock and program the unit. Very simple, so simple that you don't even need to look at the manual. \r\n\r\nThe ONLY reason I don't give this 5 stars is that the area to pour water into the reservoir is a bit narrow. It takes some practice to aim into that area without spilling water. Practice makes perfect. \r\n\r\nThis is a very good coffee maker.

Cuisinart makes some very nice products and this coffee maker is among them. I have used the Cuisinart brand coffee maker in the past and this one is every bit as nice. The 14 cup capacity makes it very handy and the design is very attractive. I have two issues with the coffee maker that would make it perfect if they were resolved. First, the beeper or alarm that goes off when the coffee is ready and when the pot is shutting off is much louder that in past models. Loud to the point of annoying I's say. Second problem is the carafe. It has a dribbling problem that can't be avoided when pouring a cup of coffee. This dribbling is not only messy, but has also caused some minor burns. I have contacted the company about the problem with the carafe and I'm waiting to see if they offer a solution.

I’ve been a fan of Cuisinart coffee makers for years—I had an older model for about 7 years and absolutely loved it. This newer PerfecTemp 14-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker is even better. It works flawlessly, brews great-tasting coffee, and feels like a solid upgrade from my previous one.\n\nOne of my favorite things is the color—the umber finish looks amazing and matches my kitchen perfectly, which was a nice bonus. I absolutely love this coffee maker. It’s actually my 2nd one, only because I relocated across the country and did not bring all my items, so I sold my old one for super cheap and bought myself a new one once I got settled in my new area. I missed it when I didn’t have it! I love that it can make 14 cups for when I have guests, but it can also just make my 5-6 cups for in the morning. I love waking up to my coffee already made for me (automatic feature), I swear it’s one of my reasons I love waking up. It’s also super easy to set and use, it really does heat to the perfect temperature, the automatic shut off feature feels like a safety-net, just-in-case, and it has a sleek look/design.

Don't lose the little cap that just sits on the top of the pot. This cap appears to be an afterthought in the making of the machine. The height from the bottom to the top where the pot sits is short the height of that stinking cap. The cap does not twist and lock in as a matter of fact it doesn't lock in at all. It just sits there and if you try to brew without it you find your filter will fill up and overflow..unless you catch it as I did. And if you try to pour and you don't remove it or hold it, then it will end up in your cup, or thermos which mine did. I expected much more from Cuisinart. Apart from the cheesy afterthought of a cap I do like it because I brew 14 cups fill up my travel cup and still have enough to fill my thermos.

While busily prepping for breakfast guests, I would plug in my coffee maker at the perfect time. I then would proceed to continue with food prep. Smelling the freshly brewed coffee I would glance over, only to see coffee running across my counter and grounds being deposited in the pot! Disaster in process. The pot was not seated perfectly to allow coffee to drip and grounds to not overflow. Cleaning that mess one too many times, it was time for a new coffee maker. \nI was gifted a new Cuisinart! My guests assured me those disasters would now be over, and they have been. I am so thankful for the gift and the positive and reassuring recommendations.

This coffee maker is an attractive addition to my kitchen. It makes great coffee and has nice features such as "bold" for flavor enhancement, and a water reservoir indicator, which is very useful. My previous Cuisinart coffee maker did not have that feature. I owned my previous Cuisinart coffee maker for over 10 years. It was a festive red color and provided many great cups of coffee. My current coffee maker is a classy silver color and brews fine coffee. However, the spout of the carafe is poorly designed. It's too wide and you have to really watch your aim when pouring or spills occur. Annoying, but not impossible with which to live.

This is my third Cuisinart coffee maker. It is replaced due to age, not any defect or malfunction! I will always purchase a Cuisinart over any other brand. The reason, it makes the perfect brew. I enjoy a bold cup of hot coffee. This coffee maker features, "bold" setting, in addition to "temperature" setting. Amazing! I get a hot cup of bold flavor coffee-every morning without fail. The additional feature to program the time is also a plus. Waking up to the scent of freshly roasted brewed coffee is the only way to start my morning, and my family of coffee drinkers also agree!

It has several nice features, i.e. gold filter cup, Xtra large capacity (12 cup), easy, large control buttons, quick brewing time and filter pouch for better tasting coffee.\nThe main complaint (but not a deal breaker) is the design of the carafe lid. The lid collects a little coffee and does not drain completely into the carafe, causing a few small spills onto the counter if not slowly and carefully poured. Other than that, happy with the coffee machine.

Wonderfully made coffee maker . Brews extremely well . There are 3 warming settings . I have had mine set to medium and it keeps the coffee piping hot for 2 hrs until it turns itself off . It has a self clean setting . The coffee maker will signal you when it’s time to be cleaned . This particular coffee maker has been in my household for one whole yr now and it gets used between 2-3 times daily . It has not disappeared me . Well worth the money and the brand name stands for itself . Well trusted brand name . Highly recommend this particular coffee maker .

3 weeks ago we purchased the Cuisinart 12 cup coffee maker after owning a Mr. Coffee for 25 years. We were reluctant to purchase a different product, but we are very happy we did. It makes a great cup of coffee, smooth and hot compared to our old coffee maker. You can make a 1-4 cup batch or the whole pot depending on your needs. Just add the amount of water necessary and the ground coffee and press the 1-4 cup button and brew button and within minutes you have a hot and great tasting cup to start your day. We agree with the great reviews this product has.

We have had previous models of the Cuisinart 14-cup coffee makers. This one has the same exact complaint that we have sent to Cuisinart multiple times, when you open the top panel after it has brewed coffee water runs down the back of the coffee maker and all over the area behind it. That's one star off. Secondly, this Cuisinart doesn't offer a selection to make a stronger brew as all of our previous models did. This coffee maker doesn't make coffee as flavorable or strong as the prior ones did. We have to add several extra cups of ground coffe to achieve a good flavor, so minus another star.

The HB coffeemaker is fully programmable so I can set up coffee for the next day. It's a 14 cup machine, which is more than enough, but also has a setting for 1-4 cups and for iced coffee. The hotplate auto-shutoff can be set for up to 4 hours with a button to add 30 minutes at a time. The hotplate can be set for low, medium, and hot, depending on your preference. \nThe only downside to this machine I have found is the type of filter it uses. I'm not a fan of these, but it also comes with a permanent filter which makes up for it.

I recently purchased the 14 cup Cuisinart coffee maker and it is a solid choice and makes a good cup of coffee. I bought the white version trying to avoid black plastic only to come to find out that the brew basket is black plastic! According to the experts the best coffee brewing temperature is 195-205 degrees. So far we have only hit 187 degrees, while close not quite in the ideal zone. For the price, it really does a good job. I'd love to see a plastic free coffee maker. Currently the only ones on the market are pour over styles or really expensive makers. Maybe one day!!

As a former "reformed" K-cup user.... I felt bad every time I threw one of those plastic cups away. I moved on to a single cup coffee maker - reusable single use filterless model. But the mess of the grounds for a single cup was too much for me. I purchased this Cuisanart model DCC-3200 and am loving it! The coffee brews just as much as I want and it tastes great! I've even started using the timer to have the coffee ready for me, when I get up early for work! \nHighly recommend.

After trying many different types and brands of Coffee Makers, this particular one is at the top of my list. The coffee has a smooth flavor, especially when using a charcoal filter, which I replace once a month. I also use a good-quality paper cone filter above the carafe. The water well opening is large enough and easy to fill, avoiding spills. And, the water temperature doesn't burn the grounds as it brews, but rather gives the coffee a smooth, just-right taste.

This is our second generation of this coffee pot. Our first one had a stainless steel carafe, which we loved. This one came with a glass carafe, which I am told is better for brewing. I am not sure, but I do feel the coffee cools quicker than before. Also, the top of the carafe sits at an odd angle and pours off center. The second pot spilt out quickly and completely poured out on my hand. Not a great experience. We are more aware of this and watch out while pouring future pots. Overall, all other features are great.

This is the coffee drinker's coffee machine. The 14-cup carafe is large, but I don't have to make two pots now. It has an internal cover for where the filter & coffee are added so there's no mistake water spill-over when filling the reservoir. Large display, easy to program, I thought I wouldn't use the +30, but I do all the time. In past coffee makes I've used H (hot) for the hotplate temperature, not this one. M is hot enough! Nice machine, great value.

I purchased this coffeemaker as a replacement for my Bunn coffee machine that stopped working. As it turns out, I’m delighted the Bunn broke so I could take advantage of Cuisinart’s product features!
Honestly, brewing time is so quick, my same coffee that I grind tastes better in this unit with the additional filter and using the gold basket, and I love the perfect temp feature that allows me to adjust to my needs!

Brews very quickly!! It is a cone shaped filter, so make sure you have some of those. Two things I wish it had was a selection for a stronger brew and a carafe lid that could be flipped up, this one is only removable.\n\nI do like the options available like brewing a full pot or just 1-4 cups, brewing over ice and being able to select the temp for the warmer plate. \n\nOverall, a great coffee pot!

This is our second Cuisinart DCC-3200. The first one made it just past 9 years before an electrical component failed. Also had to replace an internal hose at about the 7-8 year point. This unit makes very consistent coffee and brews at the right temp. No complaints with the new unit at all- easy to add water, pot is kept hot, has an automatic shut down, and is programmable for start time.

I’ve discovered I like my coffee BOLD. Love the PROGRAM START for mornings I’m getting up early & heading out. I’m very happy with this purchase. Bought this coffee maker recommended by a friend and at a great price. It makes great coffee and has nice features, but the carafe is hard to dry. Whether washed by hand or by machine water is trapped between the glass and plastic rim. The water dribbles out randomly while trying to dry the carafe. It takes awhile to get it totally dry and invariably drips one more time when you think you are done. Poor carafe design.
