Mounted this unit in my Crown Victoria and I'm thrilled. I wanted CarPlay in my daily driver and this did the trick for a few hundred bucks. I plan to reroute the USB for a cleaner look, but for now, it's great. The constant "OK" screen on start-up is my only initial complaint. Returned the unit and bought a replacement. The new one works great with excellent sound quality. Wish the screen rotated. Rating revised from 1 star to 3 due to initial issues. Recommend the unit, but make sure to get the new version. Initially disappointed as the screen didn't power on, but resolved the issue by disconnecting the car battery. However, now facing a new problem with an incredibly dim screen. Hoping for a full system reset to fix it. Despite the issues, the radio has been awesome. Fingers crossed for a successful resolution.

This product is impressive. The built-in preamp enhanced my speakers and the 10" 500w sub kit for my truck sounds great. Car play feature is convenient and the quick release mount is secure. I found a CarPlay compatible player with front and rear camera inputs and a volume knob. The big screen is impressive and installation was straightforward in my 2008 Tundra. I connected the USB pigtails to a USB port kit and wired the power output for the cameras. The screen size is just right and looks like modern OEM radios. It stays securely mounted and allows for slight tilt adjustments. I discovered that I can reverse the camera image despite poor documentation.

Easy to setup. CarPlay is pretty responsive. Not as good as a 1200 dollar head unit but for the price, this is a steal. The only thing for me is that it doesn’t have a high pass filter for the door speakers. You will have to install bass blockers in the wires. Easy to setup. CarPlay is pretty responsive.
