This vacuum was easy to assemble by myself in a matter of minutes without any tools. It's very lightweight and easy to steer, but the design feels cheap/low quality. The part that touches the floor is quite thick and doesn't fit under the edges of most of my furniture very well. I noticed that this vacuum leaves dog hair behind when I'm using it on my hard floors. I wish there was a headlight to illuminate the path in order to ensure you're getting all the hair before you move on to the next section. It does a better job on carpet than I expected and it's a lot quieter than my old vacuum. The canister is easy to empty and holds quite a bit, but I empty it completely after each use anyway, instead of waiting until it's full. I appreciate that the vacuum doesn't try to eat my rugs when I go over the edge of them, but I don't like that the brush roll keeps spinning when you're using the wand or tools. So far it hasn't been an issue, and I also haven't had any problems with hair wrapping around the brush roll. My biggest complaint is that the tools don't stay on their storage areas well and if you want to use the entire length of the hose/wand, you have to push down on a clip to remove it. These things are annoying, but not a deal breaker. I think this vacuum is a perfectly fine budget friendly option and I'm obsessed with the Turbo Eraser pet tool for removing dog hair from my furniture. The pet tool works so much better than any other I've ever tried.

Overall, the vacuum does a great job. It has strong suction, is lightweight, and moves easily around corners and furniture. I have two cats, a long haired dog, and a toddler so there is always fur and crumbs around the house. The vacuum easily cleaned everything up from the hardwood floor and rugs. You can adjust the height of the rollers for different surfaced and carpet/rug heights - it takes a little extra time to get a good clean on higher pile rugs. The extension wand is great as well as the tools it comes with. At the top of the extension wand is a little hook for the cord which helps when vacuuming - no more cord holding by hand! Two downsides are a lack of light and the location of the brush roll adjustment. I wish there was a light on the front of the vacuum to better see where dirt was to make sure I was getting everything up. The brush roll adjustment is at the base of the vacuum making it slightly more difficult/uncomfortable to use being pregnant but also needing to transition between hardwood and rugs frequently. If bending over is more challenging for you, I would not recommend this particular vacuum. While there are a few changes I would make to the vacuum, it does a great job collecting all the pet fur and it is easy to empty the bin.

One of the things I love about it is how lightweight it is and how easy it was to assemble. It took me less than 8 minutes to put together, which was a pleasant surprise. The power cord is impressively long, which means I can clean multiple rooms without having to unplug the vacuum. The suction power is also remarkable, and I appreciate that I can use it on both carpet and bare floors. The vacuum has five suction levels, with the first one designed for bare floors and the remaining four for carpets with different levels of suction. I'm impressed by how effectively the vacuum picks up even the tiniest debris, giving me peace of mind that my floors are truly clean. The three attachments that come with the vacuum - the crevice tool, the turbo brush, and the dusting brush - are very useful. I particularly love the dusting brush as it allows me to clean in between the windows and the screen. When paired with the extension wand, it's easy to reach even the highest areas. The dirt tank is another great feature that I appreciate. It's very easy to empty with just the push of a button, which makes the cleaning process even more convenient. Finally, the automatic cord rewind is a game-changer. With my previous vacuum cleaner, I had to wrap the power cord around it, which was a hassle, but now, putting the vacuum away is effortless.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My initial impression of this vacuum was disbelief - it was appalling just how much debris this vacuum sucked up from a six foot area of carpet in under a minute. We have two pets (a cat and dog) so staying on top of the fur left behind is always a big task. That's actually my number one priority in a vacuum - and the CleanView Swivel Pet Upright model gets the job done. Being able to see what is sucked into the canister is also a huge plus for us, especially with a kiddo at home who stashes random toys to be found while vacuuming! Overall, I most appreciate the design, ease of setup and extension tools. I love the smallest attachment which helps me to quickly reach cobwebs and dust in corners of the ceiling and around the edges of the floor. One of the best features is the turbo attachment which is perfect for cleaning pet hair from furniture, and something I definitely wish I had before. The swivel design of this vacuum makes it a joy to maneuver and the cord is long enough for me to around get entire rooms with ease. My only complaint is that the power button and unlocking pedal were both on the left side of the machine (I prefer to use my right foot). Not a big deal for me though, considering how much I love the effectiveness of this machine. I am very happy I was able to receive this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and look forward to using it for years to come.

My first impression of this vacuum is that it was pretty heavy! Upon taking it out of the box, trying to lift it out by myself was a bit hard because it is heavy. Putting it all together was pretty straight forward and easy to follow the instructions. Cons: - I did try to use this vacuum on a couple of my large area rugs and it was just too rough and kept trying to eat the rugs even with changing the carpet height options, including for using on a bare floor option. - The swivel feature was okay, it does feel a bit clunky and big using and does not turn or get around objects easily. - The width of the base of the vacuum is large, making it hard to vacuum some hard to reach spaces near the door or between some furniture legs and the vacuum also does not give you much of the ability to clean under stuff since you can't go down very far without the front of the vacuum lifting up. - The cord holder at the top by the handle is okay. The cord kept coming out of the holder a lot so I ended up really just holding the cord in my hand while vacuuming. - I do not like that you have to stick your hand into the dirt canister and pull out the cyclone to empty it out completely and then putting it back it is hard to find the grooves in the canister. Pros: - I used this vacuum in various ways. The first was vacuuming it on the bare floor. On the bare floor, it did well and even seemed to pull dirt and hair from in front and the sides of it! - On the carpet, it vacuums well. The ability to change the settings for the carpet height is nice so it isn't too hard to vacuum high pile carpet and it doesn't just glide over light carpet while not fully cleaning it. - The pet hair eraser is really awesome and gets a lot of dirt and hair off the furniture with ease. - The cord rewind feature is SO great! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this CleanView Swivel Rewind Pet Upright Vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and so far it's made a big improvement to my cleaning routine. Living in a home with a tiny human, a cat, a dog, and two grown people makes for daily vacuuming a necessity. Overall this vacuum does the trick for cat hair, dog hair, dust and debris. It is effective at cleaning multiple surfaces including upholstery, area rugs, hardwood floors, and even shearling hides! It has well thought out attachments like the pet hair handheld vac and a tube with brush that help get into hard to reach nooks and crannies. The retractable cord is long enough to not have to plug it into a hundred different sockets, and it retracts easily. The best part about this is that it really sucks up and filters out super fine dust and debris. Some things that I'm a little iffy about are the weight (it's a little heavy and can be cumbersome to lift and move when on), and the sound (a bit louder than some other vacuums that I've had). Overall the pros outweigh the cons and the house is cleaner as a result!

The Bissell cleanview swivel pet works beautifully & has excellent strong suction. My favorite feature is the ease of emptying the vacuum. Empty with just a touch of a button. It's also easy to tell when it's time to empty the canister due to the clear view. One thing to note is the knob to adjust carpet height vs. wood floors is way down low on the vacuum. I wouldn't recommend this vacuum to anyone who struggles to bend over or touch the floor. My 70 year old Mom couldn't reach the knob. The lever to start and stop the machine is also near the floor but it is conveniently foot operated. This vacuum is lighter weight than ones I've had in the past and that took me a minute to adjust to. Ultimately being lighter made it easier to put away and the suction power was far better than heavier vacuums I've operated. The attachments were handy for vacuuming furniture and tight corners of the room. All in all, a great vacuum cleaner. Thankyou to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Assembly went very quick and easy for my 13-year-old daughter, as she had no issues following the directions and finding the pieces. It's very light weight and has incredible suction. It picked up a lot of dirt that my other vacuum had missed. The automatic cord rewind is an excellent feature and has 5 adjustable heights! But the drawback of its lightweight is it is made of lightweight plastic. I am not confident on the longevity of this vacuum. Just hoping I don't drop this down the steps while vacuuming. It is loud and lacking a light in the front. The roller does not disengage when it is in the stow position or in the bare floor position, which also means the roller is spinning when using the attachments. Lastly the cord is shorter than other vacuums that I have used. I would assume if Bissell would correct my cons, it would put this vacuum in the same price range as others with the same features. So, with that being said, this is a powerful vacuum for its price range.

The BISSEL CleanView Swivel Pet Upright Vacuum Cleaner 3836 is an all around the house/apartment vacuum cleaner. If you need to pick it up, it has a little weight, but it is easy to push and pull. The swivel wheels get you around everywhere you need to clean. The hose helps with the high places, low baseboards. and cleaning the furniture/lamp shades. The tools are a tremendous help. The canister is easy to empty and clean. The filters are easy to clean, as well. Changing from carpet to a hard floor is easy, as long as, you remember to turn the vacuum off first. In case you do not know, it is easier on the brush roll, if you tilt the vacuum back while the brush is winding down after you turn off the power. (The handle has to be clicked into place.) Depending on your furniture height, you may or may not be able to sweep beneath it. I am not a pet owner, but I do have relatives with pets. This vacuum cleaner allows us to sweep up the pets hairs they leave behind. So, whether or not youown pets , this is a good vacuum to have in your home/apartmnet. I would buy this vacuum again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a sucker for the latest and greatest cleaning products so I have used a lot of vacuums and this is a great vacuum that's lightweight, but still works great! I usually use a cordless vacuum but the battery dies so quickly so this was nice that I didn't have to worry about that, and the cord didn't bother me. It's moves really well, much better than my stick vacuum! The swivel function makes it easy to move around furniture. The brush tool was really interesting-it's hard plastic so it's much stronger than others I've used with a bristle brush and really works well for couches and furniture, especially on pet hair! It was easy to attach the extra tools too. The only con is the cord, since I'm used to using a cordless vacuum, but it actually didn't bother me and I appreciate that it has more power and lasts longer than my cordless vacuum. It's a MUST for husky owners or dogs that shed a ton. I love the suction, it's the strongest vaccuum I've ever owned. However, maybe it's just my vacuum, but I've had some difficulties. \n\nI first tried vacuuming my completely flat living room rug; it started pulling itself after I turned it on, stopped, and then started smoking from the bottom. I turned it back on and the smoking stopped. \n\nAnother thing I'm quite bummed about is that I only used the pet eraser attachment once and it broke, after vacuuming fur under our crib. The things inside it stopped spinning. It was amazing when it was working. Fur got stuck in one of the gears in the tool, just a few strands. I took it out, put it together, many many times, and no matter how I did it, the spinners stopped spinning and the black gear attached to the band doesn't spin the grey spinner anymore. I want this piece, I'm going to look into it so I at least can get another one.

The vacuum isn't terribly bulky and has a nice blue accent color. I used the vacuum in both of my kids rooms first, where they love to track crumbs of food. The vacuum is so easy to maneuver with the swivel around their beds and toys. I love that I could adjust the brush for the carpet length and it drastically changed the cleaning power. This is helpful since our house ranges from wall to wall carpet, hard wood floors and rugs. I used the extension wand to clean under the couch cushions and it got into the tight spaces that hold all the crumbs. I tried the pet tool on our stairs where the pet hair seems to collect the most. The pet tool grabbed all the hair very seamlessly. As a household that has a ton of pet hair, the pet tool was my favorite part of the vacuum. Everything else was an added bonus.

I literally vacuumed my rug with my previous $300+ vacuum, then used this cleanview vacuum and I was appalled at what the other vacuum didn't pick up! The canister was FULL and I could immediately tell the difference on the rug. I have 3 pets so you can imagine the dirt, dander and hair. I am so impressed. The front of the vacuum is also huge so it's able to cover more ground in less time which is pretty cool! I love the swivel feature. It's pretty easy to get around furniture. The Cleanview Swivel Pet Upright vacuum is easy to navigate on carpet and hard floors. Pros: - Lightweight body, easy to carry up/down stairs - Long hose that is easy to pull out and slide away - Brush bar really grabs our cat and dog hairs out of the carpet fibers - Bin is easy to empty - Love the built-in accessory storage - The pet hair accessory works wonders on the cat tower and sofa with no tangles! Also, great for the stairs. Cons: - Power cord is on the short side - I question the long term durablity due to the lightweight plastic build - I'd prefer a power button/switch rather than the power lever. Tired of my Dyson Animal Ball 2 Total Clean units failing (4th in 5yrs) and while waiting for this last warranty repair, I bought an inexpensive Bissell to hold us over. Outperforms the Dyson. See pictures. 1st set was one room cleaning with the Dyson first and then immediately after with the Bissell. Bissell picked up just as much on the second pass. 2nd was an area rug with the Bissell first and then immediately after with the Dyson which didn't pick up any additional dirt. Also, the Bissell brush bar has yet to get any hair/pet fur stuck in it for the three times I have cleaned the house. Telling... I would detangle the Dyson after every use; sometimes after 1-2 rooms. Expect that I'll be much happier using the Bissell going forward.

It's lightweight but yet sucks up so much stuff it'll both gross you out and let you know you're getting your carpets pretty darn clean. My two big recommendations to Bissel and a head's up to everyone else, is that when you empty the canister, it's really hard to avoid getting of all the dust, hair and all the other grossness all over your hands. (You also have to empty the canister often.) The next one is that if you're using the hose and single wand attachment to clean the floor area & baseboards, you will kill your lower back because you have to bend over, hunker down and walk in that position. I'm only 5' 4" and it is literally a pain in the back to do the floors that way. I end up sweeping with a broom and then just vacuuming up the piles of stuff.

I bought this machine about 6mths ago and have not been disappointed. It really picks up dust, dirt and beagle hair very well. It's lightweight and the swivel makes it really easy to get to those hard to get to places. From hardwoods to areas rugs - it's really easy. I have some physical limitations, but I can still use my cane in the other hand while vacuuming. The retractable cord is also pretty handy but remember to hold the cord to slow it down as it reals in. One negative thing would be it's too lightweight for the way the hose is designed. Like when you use the hose and crevice attachment - the hose will send the whole machine flying at you or send it flying to the floor right across your toes. The hose could be less coiled up or something, so it doesn't attack you. Other than that - it's wonderful!

We have 4 inside dogs and 2 kids, we also live on a farm, so between the dirt, dust, dog hair and anything else you can think of my floors have to be cleaned every couple of days. This vacuum is amazing! The extension wand gets in all of those hard to reach places and I never had any issues with the rollers stopping due to dog hair getting stuck in them like other vacuums I've tried. The Turbo Eraser is the best part! It got the dog hair off of the furniture like a dream. Overall I give this vacuum 5 stars. Every since I bought this, I have been filling the canister with so much cat hair. It all must have been hiding in the carpet for a while. I was using a battery powered vacuum over the last year, and hadn't realized it wasn't fully doing the job. I only have one cat, so this vacuum is working out perfectly for me. \n\nMy house feels a lot cleaner, and it tends to fluff up my carpet better than my last vacuum. I also like the automatic rewind. The cord is more convenient to wind up, which helps the task feel slightly less overwhelming. I have found a use for all of the attachments so far, and they do their intended jobs pretty well. The attachments do a great job at cleaning the cat towers, mattress, couch, etc. My only complaint is that there is an on-board storage for all but one of the attachments.

It does a great job on our rugs (both thick and lighter rugs). The wand is also super helpful to get into the couch and the dog beds. The only set back for me on this vacuum is that it doesn't track well on our wood floors. It tends to slide laterally easily so maneuvering it tends to take a lot more control than other models I have used. If you have majority carpets and rugs though, this is a GREAT option! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cleanview Rewind Upright vacuum by Bissell is a great, affordable option. The vacuum features an automatic rewind button, where the cord is wrapped up, with the touch of a button. The cannister is very easy to dump and the suction is great. There are different settings for all floor types and you do have to play around with the settings to see what works best. This does not feel like a luxury product, when pushing buttons, reclining, or changing floor settings. This is not important to me, especially for the price. But that is why I did not give a 5 star rating. I received this item in exchange for an honest review.

The small brush is great for furniture and stairs, and the crevice tool is combined with a duster that's perfect for vents and fans. I was looking for smaller, lighter weight & still have a cord winder (one of my pet peeves is winding up cords). This new Bissell meets what I wanted & works so much better. I never knew how filthy my carpet was! I was amazed at the dirt & pet hair it pulled out of the carpet! I have 3 small dogs & 2 cats in my house & vacuum once a week. The picture shows the first time I used the Bissell, which was 1 week after I used my old vacuum that I thought was doing a good job. This Bissell is also light weight & so easy to use in my small house.

It is light weight for the size, the swivel is amazing, and has easy functionality. I have low-pile carpet, high-pile rug, and hard floors in my home. This vacuum handles it all! The cord rewind feature is simple and convenient to use. I usually find that I pull the cord out all the way no matter what, so it is quick to push the button and guide it back into the vacuum. The wand is amazing and makes reaching tight or high places so easy.

Well I needed a sweeper quickly because mine just stopped running the night before and I have to usually sweep my floors every day because of pet hair and I was going to make a grocery order and saw that I could get the sweeper that night. So I hurried up and did my grocery order and put a time in and I got everything. I put the sweeper together after putting groceries away and then I ran the sweeper and I was impressed. Because I usually buy my sweepers from a sweeper store over in Butler. But this was so convenient for me at the time.
