The speed and quality (even at just 300 dpi) is impressively sharp when viewing scanned Tax Returns on my 27" widescreen display. However there is a serious problem that may very well be the reason I decide to return it.. and its crooked scan outputs.\r\n\r\nIf you scan 3-4 pages at one time, at least 2 of them will scan crooked even if you place the papers in as neatly and aligned as you can. This is due to 2 reasons:\r\n\r\n1) The way it feeds paper, it starts with the page at the very back of the stack (touching the black tray) and continues in that order until the last scan is the page that was facing you.\r\nThe problem is that every time a sheet is pulled through the scanner, the force that it takes to fight the friction caused by the weight of the stack is more than enough to shift the next few pages out of alignment. Then it pulls a misaligned page through causing the remaining stack to start leaning towards one side. I scanned a 17 page Tax Return and the last page was so out of line by the time it got pulled through that the title at the top got cut off by the left border of the page, and the bottom 20% of the page was cut off by the right border of the page. The results get worse the more pages in the stack.\r\n\r\nAnd then, Brother's iPrint&Scan software has an "auto deskew" option that doesn't do ANYTHING. After waiting for 17 pages to scan, the results were every single page was out of line. Some were leaning to the left, some to the right, some were cut off, some look like they came out of a black hole looking all warped like those eye trickery illusions where one end of the same horizontal line looks extra big compared to the opposite end that looks thinner than it actually is on paper. You get what i'm saying? Which brings me to my next point...\r\n\r\n2) The alignment bracket on the feed tray is too wide for 8.5x11" standard printer paper (which is what it's designed to hold if you look at the dimensions written on the tray). It has one job... to hold 8.5x11" paper nicely together. But you will NEVER get to take advantage of that bracket because it doesn't matter if you scan 1 page or 25 pages, the bracket will always be too wide. I can't even get a straight scan putting one in at a time.\r\n\r\nUsually I don't write reviews but i'm pretty annoyed that none of these 15+ page Tax Returns look close to a normal scan job. There's extra grey bordering on every page and I have to deskew and then crop every.... single..... page....

I bought a Brother brand scanner after Fujistu discontinued support for my fully functioning S1300 scanner. It's extremely fast and the quality is good. My only pause is that it seems unable to straighten paper scans if they are loaded slightly off angle, something the Scansnap software did well, however if you load into Acrobat Pro and use OCR, it'll fix the alignment.

I was looking for a scanner to replace my All-In-One that was taking up too much room on my physical desktop. I recommend downloading the manual as I did BEFORE buying to avoid surprises. I didn't need a wireless WIFI feature since the scanner would be next to my desktop PC. I also don't need portability but the compact size is ideal. I am surprised that it doesn't have more limitations, but aside from a flatbed option, this does everything better and faster than my All-In-One in a very small footprint.. I like that closes up to keep the dust out of the feeder. The scanner software/interface is very versatile and user-friendly. It came with optional software to organize receipts and an OCR but I don't use any of that. I just scan to Acrobat and save in my PC's file structure and backup system. I've been using it for a month and it has performed perfectly.

Love it! Scans quickly in color and 2 sided automatically. It did not come with instructions on how to operate it but I figured it out fairly quickly. Was not able to connect to my computer but was able to scan everything to a USB flash drive. I would definitely recommend.

Decent multipage scanner, have used the version a step down before so was familiar with these scanners. It handles documents with ease, but struggles with standard form receipts, and occasionally jams with multiple pages

Machine does everything that I expected, except I am not able to delete more than one scanned page at a time. I would also like to be able to rescan and insert a page in between other pages already scanned.

It scans multiple documents quickly, only needing one pass for even double-sided documents. This was true for every document I scanned.\n There is a card slot for card scanning. You can scan to your pc, cloud, memory stick and more. Color and black and white scanning. Included in your purchase are 3 different apps that help with things like workflow, printing, editing, and storage.\n Overall, I'm impressed with the speed, ease-of use, and the fact that you can scan from anywhere that has an internet connection.

I needed a page scanner to digitize too many paper documents. The online reviews and price point convinced me to give this machine a shot. I have been blown away how well this scanner works. Setup was extremely easy and the ability to create saved workflows was an unexpected pleasure. The scanning speed when plugged to AC power in is very fast with no misfeeds. I use the usb power when scanning just a few pages and the scanning speed is acceptable. My one complaint are the paper guides. They have a tendency to fold back on themselves when inserting paper so I end up spending a little more time getting the documents lined up.\nOverall, I highly recommended this scanner.

It compatible with both iOS and windows. It connects with usb C so you need to either get an adapter or connect it to your laptop. I put my mouse next you it for size comparison. Scan resolution is 600x600 dpi which is impressive for such a light scanner. It comes with 3 free softwares and can use iprint&scan app which lets you to scan to your device. It's overall a very nice scanner, I wish it was wireless but that's more expensive so can't complain.

Not the easiest to install but scanner works great and it's a great size

He loves to collect old photos and history papers from family and locals in the area. This scanner was perfect for him! He was able to easily scan photos, cards, and papers of multiple sizes with its adjustable holder. It's small so it's easy for him to carry around. He used a USB to store all his scanned documents then easily plugged that into the computer to see them on screen. The image quality is perfect and does a great job scanning.

In fact, it is easy to disconnect (single usb-c cable) and store in a drawer or on a shelf when not being used. Setup is a breeze and the product was easy to register and download all drivers and software needed. Can load multiple pages in the feeder and there is an option to scan a card like a drivers license or insurance card. The scanning is very quick compared to larger flatbed scanners. The clarity is identical to the original. Also very quiet.

I had another portable scanner kinda like this but it was so slow it drove me nuts, this one is way better and faster. You can scan both sides of a document at the same time which is a nice feature. It can scan 30 pages per minute. It's powered through a usb-c cord which is really nice so I don't have to find an outlet when I'm using my laptop. Overall really really like it.

I used a similar model at work and was so impressed with it, I purchased one for home use. Once installed (I had to purchase an extra power cord), it has been easy to use and has produced excellent scanning results. It is fast, accurate and easy to use. I have even been able to scan smaller items like business cards and drivers licenses with ease. It interfaces with my computer and I am extremely happy with my purchase.

I did end up dropping it on my floor on accident from 5 feet up, but sustained no scratches at all. The connectivity was really easy and smooth, encountered no issues whatsoever during my usage.

A great little, desktop workhorse. Does legal %26 double sided, the two things that I most needed. Prevented the need to purchase a multi-function machine. I will say that, when I bought this last August (2025), I paid $255. I would not buy it @ the current price.

I bought this scanner as it had the capability of photocopying bank cards, but its so much more. The facility to scan to a usb stick has become invaluable in portability. the speed and efficiency rivals the top scanners. I would totally recommend this product

This scanner is very pretty, very demure. It doesn't take up much space and can easily be moved from one location to another. doesn't have a catch tray so make sure you have it some place with room for your documents to land.

This scanner has made my life so much easier! It is fast and accurate. It also helps with the organization of files with the ability to set up different folders for your scans to be stored. Overall it is a fantastic machine.

Very impressed with this very small scanner. Takes up very little room but is fast and easy to use. Especially like that it automatically detects and scans dual sided documents. No regrets with this purchase.

This was by far more than I expected. What brilliance, speed and ease of use! I really got more than I bargained on. Scanned over 700 photos and pages. Only had to clean the lense one time.
