The Roomba has been a great addition to our family.  It was very easy to setup and get started out of the box. (Only thing that was weird is the instructions for setup were the last thing to be unpacked) With kiddos and dogs, it helps keep up our floors and keep the dust down.  We have noticed a reduction in our family's allergies with consistent use of the Roomba. The initial home scan and floor layout was very easy and simple to do it just took some time.  Creating and editing schedules are very simple and easy as well as doing a one-time clean. The Roomba is gentle around objects with its sensors detecting things in the way.  The mop function is ok it is more or less running a wet pad across the floor, it does have a scrub function where the device moves back and forth for a "scrubbing" motion. The device does know the difference between carpet and hard floors so it can adjust mopping and vacuuming. We don't know how we have lived this long without our Roomba.

I am enjoying my new Roomba Combo 10 Max robot + AutoWash dock! It has made cleaning day a breeze and freed up time so that I can complete other tasks around the house. First time setup was quick and easy thanks to the easy-to-follow instructions and QR code. After setup, charging, and firmware update, I was able to have the robot vacuum map out my home to my liking and then start the cleaning process. I can use the iRobot app on my smartphone to customize my floor cleaning, set a schedule, view a map of my home, view the owner's guide, etc. The app is user-friendly and informative. This robot vacuum is much more technologically advanced than my old, outdated one. The vacuum process is thorough and picks up pet hair and even the smallest debris with ease. My home consists mostly of hardwood flooring, area rugs, and tile. I didn't experience any issues with it vacuuming various surfaces. If it encounters an obstacle, it will take a picture of it and ask me to review it. It is much quieter than my traditional vacuum and old robot vacuum. The only loud noise I've noticed is when it is emptying into the dock. As far as mopping goes, it does a good job of mopping and scrubbing extra dirty areas but the drying process for the mop pad is lengthy and noisy. The dock itself is rather big and takes up space, but that is to be expected since it contains various bins for vacuuming and mopping. Overall, this is a great robot vacuum that does a good job of keeping your floors clean. I am very pleased with its performance and would recommend it to anyone.

This roomba vacuum is AMAZING! I have never had a vacuum pick up so much off the carpet, which I never knew how little our regular vacuum was actually picking up. It works great on carpet and tile, very compatible for the short carpet we have. It has got clogged a couple times, but you just flip the roomba over and pull the fur/hair balls out and it's back to normal. I love that it knows when to stop and empty its bin, and goes back to where it left off. It was very easy to set up on the wifi, and it seemed to do decent while mapping the house, except ot got half the bedroom listed as a bathroom, so just double check that before saying the map "looks good" though I am sure you can just have it remap the area. It also senses dirty areas to let you know it needs cleaned more often. The app is easy to navigate, and makes it easy to buy replacement parts and bags. The bag in the dock can fill quick if the floors are super dirty, to save money I have emptied it by hand to make it Last a bit longer. Make sure you pick up all Cords and small items/toys/clothing off the floor first! And if you have kids or pets use the pet/child lock feature so they can't start it by pressing buttons. Also if you have animals that make messes in your home daily/often, I suggest to only run when you are home and can make sure there are no messes it can drag on the carpet (and make sure a pets fluffy tail doesn't get sucked up) and make sure it can't get stuck under tables, dining chairs, other furniture because it will keep trying to get out forever.

This is our third Roomba vacuum...each one has been an incremental step up in capability and functionality. And as much as we appreciate the convenience, I had honestly shied away from iRobot’s REALLY premium offerings because the price tag started to get a little eye-watering. However, when the 10 Max rolled around with its auto dustbin emptying feature and an onboard mop as well, we just couldn’t pass this one up. And, as a robot vacuum, the results were every bit as impressive as our top performing Roomba s9 was—but as a mop...well...let’s just say it’s nice to have the flexibility, especially with automatic and autonomous changeover between vacuuming and mopping on the fly, but the mopping results themselves just aren’t quite as impressive. \n\nLet’s start with the good stuff. iRobot has always impressed us with its mapping ability. Once you log into the iRobot app and set up your Roomba on your home network, the robot will start with a “mapping run” that gets the basic layout of your house. The mapping routine is smart enough to recognize stairs and other hazards, and the object avoidance that is now onboard means that the Roomba won’t get totally hung up on a few missed items left on the floor (or a “gift” from your pet sitting on the carpet just waiting to be ground down into the fibers). You even have the option for the Roomba to take still images as it passes throughout the house so it can learn the terrain and more effectively recognize thresholds between rooms or new obstacles/furniture placement. \n\nThe mapping run on our main floor took about 1.5 hours to get the outlines down...I was impressed without precise the floorplan reported in the map reflected the layout of our house, but the Roomba also continues to learn, expand, and refine the map with every new routine so things only get better from here. Interestingly, the mapping routine also correctly identified the various rooms on our main floor (hallways, entry way, kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom, etc.) and even did a pretty remarkable job at estimating where the dividing lines between the rooms should be drawn given that we have a wide-open floorplan. Of course, you can edit the room names and boundaries, as well as specify "keep-out" areas, no mop areas, and even create additional “clean zones” inside of your rooms for a particularly troublesome bit of real estate that might need some attention in between larger cleaning jobs. \n\nOur main floor is a combination of large area rugs, tile flooring, and carpeting at the threshold of a bathroom and two other guest rooms. The carpet cleaning routines and results were simply wonderful...even on a medium setting, and the onboard dirt sensors really do a GREAT job of detecting additional debris on the floor or dirt in the carpet and refocusing attention to clean up that spot. We have several large anti-fatigue mats in our kitchen and the Max 10 did a great job of navigating around and over those mats. Battery life was impressive as well—it was nearly 3.5 hours before the Max 10 first returned to its base for a recharge before finishing the “Vacuum and mop everything” program. However, when the mopping feature took over, we were not so impressed. \n\nThe “mop” itself is really nothing more than a crescent-shaped swatch of microfiber fabric affixed to an automatic arm that lowers the mop into place. Water or cleaning solution (we added some Mr. Clean to warm tap water for the first week) are pumped into the Roomba from the base station which is then soaked into the pad. Once mopping begins, the pad is basically just dragged behind the Roomba as it makes its way around your flooring. Now, it was impressive to see that when the Roomba sensed carpeting or obstacles nearby, it automatically lifted the mop arm up and switched to vacuuming and back again. We were initially impressed at the thoroughness and sophistication of the mopping program that ensured the floor was as clean as possible first before getting things wet. \n\nHowever, on the “balanced” setting, there were really just a few stripes of cleaning fluid trailing behind the Max 10...I had to select the “Ultra” setting for liquid amount and “smart scrub” for repeated passes over sticky splotches to get a uniform trail of cleaning liquid to cover the Max 10’s path across our tile floor. Even then, there were still several dried spills that remained behind requiring hand-cleaning. I could see someone regularly using the vacuum for cleaning—even a deep cleaning...but the mop just didn’t seem to have the same level of oomph and cleaning vigor that the vacuum did. \n\nOnce the Max 10 guides itself back to the base (which is enormous, BTW—so keep that in mind when you’re figuring out when to place it in your home), all manner of automatic maintenance tasks are carried out...the status of which are handily specified in the reasonably user-friendly iRobot app. First, the dustbin is emptied with a rather dramatic WHOOSH of suction...it’

I am absolutely in love with my iRobot Roomba Combo Max 10!!! Wow the changes from my last Roomba - things have come a long way.... No more putting up "gates/fences" or finding my Roomba running away - once the Roomba maps out your floor plan, you're ready to go.... with the app everything extremely easy. Want to do just one room or all of them - easy peasy. Want to just vacuum, just mop or do both - well, you have all three options. Need a room vacuumed or mopped twice during its round, there's that option. How about needing more or less suction while vacuuming a carpet or rug, again, there's that option and many more options. If I had to say anything negative, and, seriously, I am nitpicking, the Roomba can only get so close to the walls and furniture, I would suggest during a traditional mop/vacuum once a mop Tip: depending on the size of your floor plan, you may want to opt for cleaning a few rooms at a time vs the entire floor

I received this Roomba from Influenster for an honest review of the product. First I want to say the setup was a little hard since there were no instructions on how to use the Roomba. Once I did some research and downloaded the app things got easier. Also YouTube was a great help. This product is a dream come true. It's like having a personal maid. There's 4 stages of cleaning. The vacuum is great and even gets pet hair from both carpet and hard floor. The mopping system knows when there's carpet and lots the mop to the top so carpet won't get wet. The autowash docks automatically, refills and recharges, washes and dries the pad then empties the dustbin and self cleans. Thank you Influenster for this product because it's a game changer in how I clean my house. I 100% recommend it.

This Roomba does a great job on the hardwood floors, gets under beds and cabinets and the house looks a lot cleaner. It does a pretty good job on the indoor/outdoor carpet entry way runner and a great job on the area rugs. Initially it got stuck predictably navigating a couple of obstacles--a speaker stand whose base is sloped enough to trick the machine into thinking it's an incline, and a floor lamp that it pushes around and rumbles over thereby marring the base, and so I just move them, no big deal. I have it set for 3x a week, operation (I have a lightly shedding cat and another very-much-shedding cat) it helps keep my house free of hair I love the mop feature as well!
