For my needs, I prefer the Logitech - Combo Touch iPad Pro Keyboard Case over the Apple Magic Keyboard.\n\nPros:\n+ Cheaper by $100*\n+ Case protects sides of the iPad\n+ Case is detachable from the keyboard\n+ Keyboard has an additional row of function keys\n+ Controllable keyboard backlight brightness\n+ Great tilt range\n\nCons:\n- No extra USB-C port\n- Takes up more surface space, vertically\n\n*I was able to get the Space Gray Magic Keyboard for iPad at a $100 discount making it the same price as the Logitech - Combo Touch iPad Pro Keyboard Case.\n\n----------------------------------------------------------------\n\nPicked up a couple of iPads to see which one I like and of course that means I needed to pick up a case. I got the Apple Magic Keyboard of iPad and this, the Logitech - Combo Touch iPad Pro Keyboard Case, to compare.\n\nI'm the kind of person that likes to take my iPad wherever I go so having a case that can protects all sides of my iPad is important to me. I end up using my iPad while at cafes, in my bed, sitting in my car, traveling on a plane, etc... The little kick stand on the back of the case allows me to prop the iPad up on the steering wheel so that it's at a level for easy viewing. In bed, I have one of those fancy monitor arms but the grip at the end is like what you see with those phone holders for a car except this one is big enough for a tablet. This case is thin and light enough to fit in the grip with my iPad still in the case (in my old case I had to remove my iPad which was annoying). The keyboard being detachable is SO nice. The kick stand also has a really great range of angles that it can support the iPad at. The extra row of function keys at the top are great for everyday use and is something that the Magic Keyboard does not have.\n\nMy only complaint is that it doesn't have an additional USB-C port like the Magic Keyboard does have, but I'm okay giving that up for a case that protects the side of the iPad and detaches from the keyboard. One other big complaint that might matter to others is how much surface space it takes up vertically compared to the Magic Keyboard. The Magic Keyboard just needs however much surface space the keyboard takes up. The Logitech - Combo Touch iPad Pro Keyboard Case needs more surface space vertically because of the kickstand. This makes having the Logitech - Combo Touch iPad Pro Keyboard Case in your lap a little difficult, especially it were to sit on your lap at a downwards incline.

I love having a keyboard on my iPad. It can then do just about anything a laptop can do, and is much smaller. For my old iPad I had the Apple keyboard that only covered the screen, the back was uncovered so I had to put it into another case to protect it. This Logitech keyboard is a full coverage case with a thick edge like a phone case, that should protect the iPad from drops. However, this also makes the iPad thicker and heavier. The back support is continuously adjustable for any screen angle, however it feels like bendable metal so I wonder how long the hinge will last. I was hoping that I would be able to fold the keyboard fully back to use the iPad as a regular tablet, but if you do this the keyboard comes off. It is held on by magnets so is easily reattached. The backlit keyboard is very handy for typing in the dark. It has a little more key travel than I am used to from my old Apple keyboard, but it is not excessive and is much less than a desktop keyboard. I think it will be fine if you do a lot of typing. This keyboard also has a trackpad, which some people may like, but I keep accidentally touching it and sending the cursor off somewhere. In laptops I disable the trackpad, but I cannot find any setting in my iPad to completely disable the trackpad. Overall this is a good keyboard that doubles as a protective case.

So far, I love it! Fits perfectly on my iPad Pro 11in. I love that there is a space on the side for my Apple Pencil. Also, the keyboard is detachable! I’m a student and working on my PhD and I need tablet mode a lot for when I take notes or read online books, but I also need to keyboard for when I write, grade, or do just about anything else. With the keyboard it makes it easier to just carry around my iPad instead of both my iPad and MacBook Pro, which is kinda heavy. I also like that this case has pass-through charging so I never have to worry about charging the keyboard. The case seems sturdy and good quality, though I also recently purchased a tablet sleeve to put my iPad in to protect it even further. Also, the back kickstand is really sturdy and isn’t floppy like some kick stands for iPads. I will definitely get so much use of of this case. I hope the case lasts a long time. At least the length of time that this iPad will last me. I like that it is more affordable than the magic keyboard which doesn’t have the detachable keyboard feature, which isn’t good for me as I explained above. It was really simple to start using. My iPad paired with it automatically. The only thing i had to do was download the Logitech app to keep the keyboard’s software up to date.

I wanted a keyboard for my iPad but the apple ones were too expensive. I had looked at many reviews and I chose this one and so far I am not disappointed. The keys are great and easy to type with. It feels very sturdy. The keypad is detachable but it is not loose at all so it doesn't just fall off. I like that I can flip the keypad around and use my iPad without it. I wish it had storage for the pen. The case does not interfere with the pen attachment but if I put it in my bag it just falls off. Other that than, this is a great option for the Ipad. I have the ipad air 11 in M3. I wish there were more color options but that's just me being picky.

I had been using another keyboard that connects by Bluetooth with my iPad Pro 11” for several months and the delay in connecting was bothering me. I read many reviews about the Logitech - Combo Touch keyboard case and was hoping this would be a better product. The case fits all three iPad Pro 11” models (1st, 2nd and 3rd Gen). The case offers a lot of protection for the iPad, the keyboard is very responsive and has a nice feel. The case connects via the contacts at the bottom of the iPad so there is no delay with the touchpad or keyboard. The Apple gestures work with the touchpad plus there is a row of function keys at the top of the keyboard. I was concerned about the kickstand not staying where it was set, but even on a smooth surface, it stays where I put it. My only negative is the lack of a secure place for the Apple pencil. The case has a cutout so the pencil will magnetically attach to the iPad, but it is easily bumped off putting it in a backpack. Overall I am very pleased with the Logitech - Combo Touch.

Bought this Logitech Combo Touch case with my 11 inch iPad Pro because it offered more protection and was less expensive than the Apple Magic Keyboard.\n\nThe keyboard part is actually removable and reversible, which I was not aware of when I bought it. It's a very solidly built unit, like most recent Logitech products. I had their keyboard for a 2018 12.9 inch iPad Pro I had use of a few years ago which also was well built and worked well. That experience helped me make the decision to go with this case for my 11 inch M1 version.\n\nHighly recommended. I've had it for about two weeks and have not found much of anything to complain about. I could nit pick about not being able to install my neat little USB-C hub that is designed to fit over the iPad without a case. But then again the case is thicker to provide protection, which is more important. And the hub works just fine without being attached.

This is the best keyboard case for the iPad. all the features make the iPad feel like a mini laptop. the only two things i wish they would fix: 1. They need a more secure way to have the pen on the case. The magnet is fine, but you run the risk of losing your pen if you travel with just the case. 2. Add more colors. I bought this case for 2 different iPads and have no regrets.

I am very happy with this purchase 😍 I used to work in an store so I have a very high expectation for quality when it comes to an iPad case and this does not disappoint. It has a quality canvas like material on the exterior of the case and smooth hard plastic case to protect the iPad. The keyboard has a very smooth feel with great pressure to the keys. The backlight on the keyboard can be adjusted from off>dim>very bright. You have a lot of keyboard shortcuts you would find on a Mac. My favorite features are the track pad and smart connectors. Very strong magnets to attach the keyboard and the trackpad connects immediately (No waiting to connect via bluetooth 🙌🏼). An Apple Pencil is next on the list to see how well it works with this case 😃

I purchased the Logitech instead of buying the apple Magic Keyboard. I had a friend who had used both and recommended this one. I love that it has a protective case, allows for the pencil to be stored on the tablet and the keyboard is reversible for when you want to use it in tablet mode. This has been a great step in using my iPad as a replacement to a laptop.

I really like this Logitech Combo touch keyboard.Keyboard and touchpad work great.I really like the protection from scuffs with the magnetic detachable case.I also like the top row of special keys.Adjustable keyboard lighting.The downside would be it has a longer footprint with the stand and it doesn’t lock upright for lap ability.The whole setup with IPad Pro weighs about 2.5 lbs.I had the Apple Smart Keyboard Folio on my last iPad Pro.This Logitech Looks like it would remain in better cosmetic condition from long term use then Apples Keyboard combos.I would definitely recommend this product.

This was a great upgrade for my iPad. I had an old apple keyboard for several years and when it quit, I reluctantly went shopping for a new one. I’m glad I did. The touch and feel of the key pad is excellent. The detachable key board is a great option. I no longer splash milk on my keyboard while eating cereal and reading my morning paper. With the iPad having such a great touch screen, I don’t use the touchpad much, but it doesn’t get in my way or cause problems.

The price and functionality make this a better choice than the two options from Apple. Works well as a case, and the keypad/track pad are very responsive and easy to use. I picked this one because it is the easiest to use on the lap when sitting on the couch. \r\n \r\n \r\nMy only complaint is more against the iPad just not having the smoothest functionality with trackpads/keyboard cases in general - somewhat of a clunky user experience that needs some work in the iOS.

Replacement for the slim folio keyboard case that was originally available for my 3rd Gen iPad Pro. I like that it's a lot more sturdy then the original case. Negatives would be it only has a single tilt position. Also wished it could be powered by the pogo pins on the back of the iPad, but it only needs charged once every couple months.

Great quality keyboard and case combo. Uses the Smart Connector so it automatically connects and doesn’t need to charge. You can also detach the keyboard when you have limited desktop/table space which the Apple keyboards can’t do. Seems like a much better value than those too.
