The SCOSCHE MPQ2WD-XTSP1 Qi Wireless Charging Magnetic Mount Window/Dash is the best mount I've found. Upon opening the package it's a little intimidating when you see everything in the box, but it turns out there are just a lot of different various parts included because of all the different phone types and mounting options so you just need to find which ones you want to use and start building from there. I have an iPhone X and for starters I needed to get a new case that had a smooth flat back so I could attach the two case magnets. My previous case had a cutout where one of the magnets would sit, so that wasn't going to work. Using the included guide to align the magnets was easy. Also the magnets on the phone don't inhibit my phone from wireless charging on other chargers, which was a relief. \r\n\r\nNext I went with suction mount on the windshield left of my steering wheel. Even with a low placement, after tucking the cabling away I ended up using the entire length of the included cable to reach the USB port in my lower center console. If you wanted to do a windshield mount in the upper left corner I don't think the cable will be long enough in most cars. I also have a SCOSCHE dash camera which fortunately had a 2 USB port 12V adapter so I plugged the Qi mount into the 2nd port, but unlike the other cable this one doesn't have the right angle USB end - it's straight, so it's not quite as space saving. The mount itself is easy to use with suction and a lever to lock into place so it's really secure, and the magnetic mount paired with the magnets on the case make for a VERY strong hold. This is a real highlight feature of this product and is the best, strongest hold I've found. I've had to return two similar products because the hold just wasn't enough to handle your average pothole or a slightly bumpy gravel road.\r\n\r\nHowever, the is one significant issue and downside to this product that you need to be aware of so you can workaround it, and that is that it gets HOT. If your car is left parked outside in the sun and the mount is on the windshield or dash on a warm day then it's going to already be warm. Then when it gets turned on it heats up even more. And at least for me, one of the issues when I use my favorite mapping app (Waze) is that it also can make my phone get hot, in addition to totally draining my battery which is why a charging mount is so great. The first time I used this mount I combined all those factors and 10 minutes into my drive my phone shut down because it was over heating. If it's cold weather, or you've parked in a garage you should be fine. But if you are parking your car in the sun you may want to remove the magnetic charging portion of the mount when parked and store it in a cool place in your vehicle. It's kind of a hassle, but needs to be done or the mount will be too hot to use.\r\n\r\nBecause of the heat issue, this mount isn't perfect but I think it's still the best mount like this I've seen. A slightly longer cable with a right angle USB end would make it better IMO but I would still definitely recommend this mount.
