BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!\n\n I have had numerous dumb phones over many years. This one is the WORST piece of KRAP that was ever made by any company. It is impossible to text with, and the sound is Horrendous! The buttons are VERY hard to press. Volume is terrible. Consumer Cell seems to be an ok cell company, but they are running their company in the ground by using this phone.\nI do realize that they are trying to discourage customers from using dumb phones, but just stop selling them and be honest with people and say if you use their service you have to have a smart phone. There are still people that don't want a smart phone like me, but this Iris EZ flip is a crime perpetrated on decent people. I have been forced to get an inexpensive smart phone. So, I guess Consumer Cell won. But why couldn't they have said up front that they were not selling dumb phones. \nI honestly believe they have caused me to have PTSD from trying to text and get texts, which I quit getting last weekend. Many people have gotten upset because I never answered them back. I had to tell them I can't answer if I don't get their texts.\nPlease, if I can save one person from what I have gone through, don't buy this phone!!!!\nWhen I get my new smart phone, I am going to take the phone, lay it on the sidewalk and smash it with a big hammer! Don't want it to ever fall into anybody's hands again.

Can barely hear the ringer with it set on high. Called about it and was told it wasn't loud because it was a flip phone. My husband had an A T %26 T flip phone before getting this one and it was very loud. Should have went back to A T %26 T.

Too bulky. Features are not improved from previous flip phone purchased years ago. Setup was not any easier. Functionality has decreased. Quality appears to be less than previous flip phone purchased years ago. Overall rating, it is below average on flip phones purchased in the past.

I bought it to replace a Consumer Cellular Verve flip we'd had for a few years but the charging port would no longer hold the charger tight enough to get a good charge. This is a good basic flip phone. The only problem is that after customer service helped me port the number over I noticed that the charger cord did not fit into the outlet adaptor that was included in the package. I called Consumer Cellular customer service back, but since I bought it from Walmart I was told that I needed to return the phone to Walmart. I wasn't about to do that since I already had the phone number ported over. The charger for the old Verve flip fit the Iris Easy okay, but I ended up ordering a replacement charger that specifically said it was compatible to the Iris Easy Flip.

This phone has been an absolute blessing for our family. My mom is not tech-savvy at all, and while she had a smartphone, she never really learned how to use it. Instead, it just caused constant frustration, for her and for me, because it somehow got messed up every week, and I'd spend a full day trying to fix it and re-explain everything.\nI bought her this flip phone for Christmas, and we are both happier than I can even describe. She now has exactly what she actually wants and needs, calling, simple texting, and ease of use, without all the extra features that only confused her.\nIt's straightforward, reliable, and stress-free. If you're shopping for someone who doesn't want or need a smartphone, this is an excellent choice and a huge quality-of-life improvement.

the screen and buttons are very big and easy to use and see. the only issue is that whenever you receive a picture through text it is very small. I assumed with the face of the phone being so big that the pictures would all be somewhat of a normal size. they are also very grainy. most of these people who have these flip phones are older people who most likely receive pictures of their children grandchildren and great grandchildren. they need to be able to look at these pictures. it's small and his brainy as the pictures are, they cannot see them.

Don't like eSIM only. Makes it difficult to setup if you don't get something done in the right order, and hard to change carriers if you decide to especially for non tech savvy people!

This phone is a gift for my husband who will not use a smart phone. He does not text and just uses the cell phone to make a few calls, since he mostly uses the landline. We have a Consumer Cellular account. When I called them a week before Christmas to order the phone, they could not guarantee that I would receive it by Christmas, unless I paid almost $30 for expedited shipping. He has not opened the phone as yet, but I feel he will enjoy the features on this phone and that it will function much better than the one he continually threatens to throw over the back fence because of its many issues!

I loved this phone!* Then I noticed it was very bad at pulling in data. We tried to fix it for 2.5 hours. My carrier even had me hold out of my window for an hour, after resetting the phone twice. "WILL NOT BRING IN DATA, (WITHOUT WIFI!*) WIFI OK. Not from the polls. AT ALL. \n So please think twice.****\n"EXCELLENT PHONE OTHERWISE."

Activating the phone which was replacing a similar CC phone became a problem. CC wouldn't help because I forgot my pw to get into my account. They wouldn't email a security code, only text. Without a working phone, I could not call them or receive a text. It has been over 5 days without a working phone. Need someone else's phone to call CC and get a security code. The online experience with CC became a waste of time. Chat people tried, but had no solution without me using someone else's phone. The software for the security code included two options: by email or text. But, the Chat helper said CC was not emailing security codes as a security measure, only text.

Would have given a better rating, as I like it. The problem is it is not working properly.\nCalled consumer Cellular to get it fixed and they sent me to Target.\nBetween Con. Cellular and Target they could not fix it and was told to exchange it or a new one.
