The cartridges that came with the printer would not work so I could not print the alignment page until the subscription ink cartridges came. \n\n I received the HP Envy 6152 All-in-One Printer. I feel it is a good home printer but slower than I expected it to be. \n\nI am excited to be able to print, make copies, and scan for kids school forms and everyday needs. I figured out how to make 2 sided prints from my phone when printing recipes which makes me very happy. \n\nBeing able to connect to the printer via WiFi connection is nice to keep fewer cords dangling for the animals to get tangled up in. \n\nOverall I feel this is a good home printer for my household use.

I only gave this really nice HP Envy 6100 series printer 4 stars due to the patience needed waiting for your picture(s) to print. Other than that, I am so so happy with my purchase. After having regrettably bought a HP printer with no LCD screen, I am feeling quite spoiled with how nice this screen is. Set-Up was easy, as always I have this printer on the Instant Ink (%26 paper) plan which is a nice convenient subscription (unless u forget to cancel plan %26 just freely give HP INK $7.99 a month for 12 months without them even attempting to try to have you connect a printer to the paid subscription!), and the joy of having a nice frame with the perfect picture to finally place in it the second you get home? Well, that's just the cherry on top.

I've been planning a baby shower recently and this has helped me print a lot of things for it and has made it easy. Some universal papers that claim to be for inkjet printers won't work in it, but I don't necessarily think it's on the printers side. It does ask what type of paper you have inserted and it does have many different options. The scanner works really well as well. Overall this is a good printer for your family to use for anything. The instant ink part is also nice, you never run out of ink and pay a low monthly fee depending on how many papers you print a month.

Total pain to set up, and two versions of it need to be installed, otherwise scanning is unavailable. All function must be done through the app, and the app does not name-differentiate between the two versions, although your system (God Mode) will. One must sign up for auto-delivery of ink to get free ink, which comes with the printer. Also, it was extremely difficult to initially install the black ink as the ink ports wouldn't center. But once all of that is overcome it works great. Two-sided printing is hands-free. The page comes out, gets sucked back in, and the other side prints. I didn't install the wi-fi for security reasons.

I bought this printer for use while I am away from home. It is small enough to fit my requirements and does a good job for money. The first one I bought; the print cartridge carriage was locked up and it was a pain to get through the exchange process. I eventually got my replacement printer and am happy with it for the most part. Occasionally it does not print my documents but shutting it off and back on usually corrects the issue. This does not happen all the time just occasionally. I think this is a good printer for the money and if I had to do it over, I would buy the same printer.

The setup instructions appeared straight forward. The problem was none of it worked. I could get it to connect to the router but it wouldn't complete the HP-host setup. It kept posting 'an unknown error'. A deep-dive into the HP web-site suggested using the printer's web-server to initialize its interface. I set a fixed IP in the router for the printer, moved the printer next to the router, opened the printer web-server and initialized it, & finally got the setup to complete successfully. A real PITA.\nOnce the setup was completed, the printing itself is fine. Good, crisp colors.

I bought this as my old HP Envy printer suddenly started not printing cyan. Generally happy but needed HP Support help to set it up. I added the device on my PC but it wouldn't work without adding HPSmart as a "device" even though I already had the HPSmart app.\nNow works OK but very slow connecting- if you open HPSmart to scan a document, you get a blue whirly wheel for at least 20 or 30 secs. Also if you select print on a document of more than one page it automatically selects double-side printing...and then takes 10 or 15 secs to begin printing. All very frustrating. C

I like my printer very much, it prints clear and fast and it also does both sides of a page without my doing a thing. I had lots of trouble trying to get my computer to communicate with my printer. After three days and the use of both the IT folks from HP as well as from my computer I am now able to print. It was not clear to anyone that I dealt with that I was not to use my ENVY 6155e as the printer to use but rather another category (something like "all inclusive"). It works fine now so nothing got thrown out my window and in time I'll forget the trouble I had..

I bought this HP to replace an older model Hp that had been a great printer. This new one looks great and I connected it up as soon as it arrived, but, I was so disappointed in the speed of the printing process. My,old one was three times as fast as the new one which I find very strange, as you would think a model at least five years younger would be ‘new and improved'. Apart from the speed, it looks good and prints well, but I need to patient while waiting for my next new recipe or printed email!

The HP ENVY 6055e All-in-One Printer is the perfect match for my needs. I rarely need a printer, but this one is everything I could possibly need in one unit. The set-up process is extremely simple and automated, I was amazed at how simple it is to Set-up such an advanced Printer. The Ink Cartridges are also very simple to install and calibrate, The HP ENVY 6055e basically does everything for you, with very little input from the user. I have printed a few photos and I'm very happy with the print quality!! This printer is very fast, in my personal opinion, it's the fastest I've owned to date. I love how you know the status of the printer and it's functions by the color of the LED lights. I love HP Products and have been using HP Products for many years, trouble-free. I only set the printer up 4 days ago so not sure of my 4-star rating. All ok so far. Printer much lighter than the Envy it replaced and looks better. Only gripe to date is that the time it takes to get round to printing after pressing 'print'. Up to a minute! Also, the printer told me that it only prints PDF documents so I had to find out how to set it up to print ALL documents!! How stupid is that?

Generally very pleased with this printer, especially at the discounted price and with free months of Instant Ink and paper. One small criticism - the screen is tiny and therefore a little difficult to read and use. I've had several HP printers in the past and this one is the best value for money by far; the only feature it doesn't have that my previous printers did is a document feeder.

When I saw the opportunity to grab this personal printer at a heavy discount, I had to have it after seeing how great my wife’s printer is. This printer is the perfect companion for photos, stickers, and smaller individual documents and certificates. I don’t print as much as my wife does, and this is just perfect for my intermediate demand. My wife said we didn’t need two printers, but I’m glad I never listen to her. She even uses it for single prints taking giving her office printer a break. I think we both look to find things to print just because we can. The printer was very easy even for me and my lack to technical skills. Subscription ink and paper order has made things fluid without any hiccups.

I'm not giving this printer five stars because they too are proprietary with replacement ink cartridges. I bought this to replace my old 5000 series printer as it was getting past its best . This one prints well but is slower to respond to print requests. Clarity of print and scan is good. I have to use HP smart to scan which is more tech that I could do without the simple way for me was better but for those more tech savy is great.

I love this printer! It was so easy to set up and use and there was no learning curve. Once it was out of the box I put it in the location I use for my work and plugged it in. It was connected to my wi-fi in no time and ready to use. All I had to do was insert the included ink cartridges, put in paper and enjoy. I also use instant ink service so my first shipment of ink came within about 3 weeks, just as the cartridges were running out. (The ones that come with the printer are small and don't have\na lot of ink in them so you will want to replace them soon after buying). \nI love the new keypad on it that tells you exactly what to do and gives you the options for the pages you are printing. This is a great, economical printer and perfect for my needs.

On the whole I'm pleased with my new printer. It was tricky to get my laptop to speak to it, I had to ask a friend for help, but now it works well. Things like this are always much harder to install than the manufacturer anticipates. We're not all IT experts. I wish you manufacturers could even begin to understand that.

Set up instructions insisted on using smaller ones as with order. However these would not work and I spent many days trying to get it to work. By day 8 I was ready to give up but decided to put in new ink cartridges ordered at the same time as the printer and guess what it worked. I have not tried scanning yet.

I have always had HP products and have really liked my printers. The 6100e is a great printer for the money. Copies are crisp and clear. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the paper holder does not come out automatically like on my 4500. You have to manually pull it out which is extremely inconvenient.
