I got my first MX Ergo in 2020, and recently bought a second one (first one still works) to keep at the office while my original stays at my home office so I no longer bring the one back and forth each day. I also wanted to upgrade to USB-C. I’m happy to say that the MX Ergo S works just as flawlessly as the OG. It’s the most comfortably daily driver I’ve ever used, and I was once the biggest antagonist of roller-ball mice. I have comically large hands (just over 4inch wide palms, 8.5inches tip of middle finger to bottom of palm before wrist) so fitting a mouse is hard work. This one isn’t too big, for normal hands, and for me it’s actually comfortable in that it doesn’t force me to curve my hand around unnaturally; the included wedge is perfect for compensating for the extra width of my palm. The roller-ball is also incredibly smooth; you may need to pop it out and clean it once a month or so depending on your personal environment but this is quick. I just pop it out and grab a cotton swab, about 2 minutes total time. The battery also lasts so long I actually haven’t paid attention to it so I can’t give a good estimate. I use it everyday for 6-10 hours, and I charge it maybe 2-3x a quarter at most? The last thing I’ll mention is that despite its size, this is the perfect travel mouse! Sure it’s slightly large, but the benefit is you can just rest it on your tray table or lap while using it since the roller-ball does all of the work!

I have been a pretty loyal fan of Logitech mouse and keyboard technology and design. I went through 3 of the 1st generation M570 marble mouse before buying this MX Ergo model.\n\nTo start with, I was really excited to see the new features and modifications on this new bird. The one that grabbed my attention the most was the adjustable angle of the mouse itself. This metallic base is held on magnetic hinge to a ridge at the base of the mouse... which pivots 20° pronate or suppinate. The angle really makes this mouse even better ergonomically. The plus model comes with an additional wedge to add 10° more to 30°. This plus model is only available through Best Buy and the wedge is not sold separately by Logitech.\n\nThe scrolling wheel has a normal and fine mode to move the mouse in smaller jumps for more detailed work. There is also a page up or down fir bigger jumps.\n\nThis mouse can also be used with two devices with one mouse. Its called Logitech Flow. This feature is controlled by two button on top of the mouse.\n\nI can't really think of any downsides to this new model. I highly recommend buying this newest Logitech flagship.\n\nThis mouse is now rechargeable via USB C interface... which is a big improvement over AA batteries.

First I would like to say that I have been buying occasionally from B&H for about 30 years and have never been disapointed with the products or the service. My MX-4 quit working and I have Parkinson’s so I tried a trackball. When I am having a good day it is like everyone else, It will take some getting used to. Only 3 complaints, the instructions for the new ring functions were better,the wedge needs to be attachable and I wish th pointer speed had better range. On most days it is difficult to move my wrist and pr my arm enough to use the muse well. The trackball is a big help. When I am having a bad day it is impossible to use a mouse but I can still perform basic functions with the trackball, like opening emails and printing documents, I just push the ball around until I get it ti the right place and then hit the button. It was worth the price just for that. I hope this is helpful to someone.

I could sense that I was beginning to feel like carpal tunnel syndrome would soon be bugging me, and the GoPoint mouse I had used for years just wasn't cutting it. Having seen the Logitech Lift Vertical Ergonomic Wireless Mouse here I actually purchased that - and was rather disappointed. While it held my hand in a decent position, having to swipe my hand to and fro 9as one does with a mouse) became rather unweildy.\n\nSo then I saw this item - and it has been a pleasuer. Been using it for a few months and really cannot complain - I used to like trackballs back in the day (decades ago) but my job entailed a lot of travel and the GoPoint mice (I've gone though a few) were great - comfortable as well as small for packing purposes. But I guess age started getting to me, and now that I'm retired size does not matter.\n\nBottom line - if you like using trackballs, this one is quite good -highly recommended.

Amazing mouse, ergonomic and covers my whole palm. I had upgraded from the M570, which seemed more like an intro model. The bluetooth/dongle would constantly lag ad pointer would skip, the ball was loose and got dirty quickly and the buttons were finicky. The ball on the ergo is sturdy, the buttons and wheels feel great and the multi angles make resting my hand a breeze. I opted for a ball mouse because my wrist became really sore from using a conventional mouse at the office all day. This took the pain away and all i use is my thumb which rests comfortably on the ball. I wouldn't recommend any other mouse due to the vigorous movement of the wrist which the pain can keep you up at night, especially if working with documents and spreadsheets. Definitely recommend this mouse.

I've been a dedicated trackball user for decades and this one is far and away the best I've ever experienced. Even after hours of editing audio files or photographs my wrist didn't hurt and my fingers weren't ice cold from lack of circulation. The build quality is solid and the adjustable "handshake" angle is a total game changer for my poor carpal tunnel ridden wrist. Whatever that coating is makes a huge difference too. It gives just enough friction so that your hand doesn't slide off, which sounds stupid and minor but turns out to be pretty important for fatigue. The assignable buttons are clutch and save you loads of time with custom macros and shortcuts. Don't even think twice about buying this. You can thank me later.

I really like how there's 2 different settings for the trackball. It's very nice that there are multiple different angles to adjust the mouse placement. The battery life is also great. It's nice that you can connect via Bluetooth in case you aren't able to plug in the adapter. I've used for 2 weeks straight now and still haven't had to charge the mouse. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the product.

The ability and precision to move the cursor (pointer) and click or highlight where desired without shuttling your mouse or fingers is a pleasure and a relief from wrist strain. It is also convenient in limited space, such as on an airline seat tray. There are also flexible features for switching to left index finger for clicking and scrolling and for increasing or slowing the speed for precision. I have been using for years with reliable Bluetooth connection on PC, but ordered newsest model for its USB-C connector and charging. Don't leave home without it!

This is my second mouse of the exact same type. I liked the look, feel and features fo the MX Ergo that I decided to buy one for my spouse. We both have more than 1 computer and this is trackball mouse is perfect for us to easily switch between devices. I bought the exact the same model but this second one feels a lot lighter and cheaper than my previous one. The trackball feel and scroll seems less smooth. It is more expensive now too. But I get the price change since a lot more people are now working from home and it's probably just a matter of supply and demand. What is not acceptable to me is that the materials used on my second model seems cheap. Hopefully I did not get a fake one, but it works with Logi Options software so it may be that the supply chain decided to just cheap out on the materials.

Purely Professional, High Long-Term Reliability. The Ergo MX S has become the mouse I rely on up to 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is difficult now to write without it, and in fact I wore out the previous generation Ergo X after 10 years. And its same form factor made the transition beautiful, with silent, soft but firm clicks. I highly recommend it taking it with me on location beyond the home office.

I've used plenty of trackball mice, of pretty much every description. This is the nicest, the finest, the most pleasant to use that I've encountered yet. Very much worth the money if you spend a lot of time mouse in hand. The mass of it is extra satisfying, and the included wedge to increase the angle from horizontal is a major bonus from a comfortability standpoint. I'm deeply satisfied with this purchase.

I use my PC for work all day, every day, and then quite a bit for recreation on evenings and weekends. I'm extra careful about repetitive stress injuries. I love my ERGO! Once I got used to the tilt, my wrist got much happier. The new greater tilt is even better. Also, Logi hardware quality cannot be beat. I'm always shocked when a Logi trackball wears out, because it takes years of heavy use to happen. <3

I used to use a trackball back in the 90s, and I generally like trackpads. I recently got this as a spur-of-the-moment decision, and I really like it. I got used to it very quickly, and I like being able to just rest my arm on the desk and just use the trackball. It has enough buttons for me, and is super responsive. The battery also lasts forever, I'm a week in and at over 90% charge.

This is the first trackball mouse I've ever used and I love it. I wanted something that would be easy on my wrist and was wireless. Having recently switched from a traditional mouse, it didn't take me long at all to become accustomed to the trackball. This mouse is very comfortable to use and its ability to tilt is my favorite part about it. I would definitely recommend the investment!

Much nicer and more comfy than the older models of trackball I have used. I love how easy it is to switch control between my work and home computers. The only thing I don't like about it is that the precision button is in an awkward spot and I accidentally hit it frequently when I don't mean to. But overall this mouse is the best I've ever used. I has started out with the entry level Logi trackball and it worked well, but the ball had a good bit of play in the base and the plastic felt thin and cheap. \nEverything about the Ergo is just so much better, the trackball moves so much smoother and the palm surface just feels great. The angle tilt feature makes this even more comfortable. The tilt plate is held with strong magnets, I haven't had a problem with it tipping unexpectedly. Battery life is great, I've been using it for about a month and it hasn't needed a recharge. \nI don't play PC games and only use the trackball for rendering. \nFor a trackball that you can pick up in stores, it's a solid purchase. \nThe only thing that's keeping this from five stars is the price.

I have used two MX Ergo trackballs for a couple of years on my machines and they are great. Very comfortable, can navigate in tight spaces with ease and the battery life is great. Super exciting to have received this latest version with silent keys and USB C to simplify my device charging routine. Excellent incremental improvement of an already great product!

I like the new features on this mouse. Very robust and hardly moves, and I like the feature of an additional wrist plate, which is at the right angle for my hand to make mouse movements. Most of all, I don't have to make many wrist movements to move the mouse back and forth, which made my hand more uncomfortable after long use of the mouse.

The controls are easy to reach with the index and digit fingers. It does feel a lot larger than the old thumb ball mouse I had before, but I adapted to that quickly.
