The last game system I bought was an Xbox 360 well over a decade ago. I've played original Atari %26 NES. I like that I dont have to have physical games as in storing them. But there's something to be said for just putting in a game disc and being able to play. No log in or waiting for something to update or download. I downloaded Halo, and even with FIOS, it took nearly an hour for it to download before I could even open the game. Overall, I do like it.

Good console. I have both the Series S and Series X. Don't see enough difference to justify the costs. Of course the X has an optical drive. I guess there's that.

My son really liked so I bought a another one for myself and I'd say it was pretty fun.It had so many games like silksong,Undertale ,and even the the Oregon trail.overall it was the best gaming console I've bought.

I think we bought this as new, but we definitely got a refurbished console, and walmart had ZERO customer service when it came to this fact, because we had opened the box (hard to know its been used unless you open the box!) so that was disappointing but it works as it should.

Setting up the console and establishing an account with Microsoft was the easy part. The unit itself worked perfectly fine. The impossible part was on day 2 trying to log back in. I kept getting a message “who are you?” Microsoft would generate a 6 digit code and send to my email which I entered on my account. I would get a message back saying you can now sign in and safety use the account. I could never get in - after about 10 separate code attempts I gave up. At my end all systems including internet worked fine. I googled the problem and there was information about the issue with a work around. I contacted the customer support team at Microsoft twice but no response. I eventually ended up opening a new account and am up and running but I am afraid to log out as I will have this issue again. My 2 stars is for all the aggravation trying to log in to my account. The product itself works fine.

DO NOT BUY this Xbox already came with fan issues and I bought it NEW!!!, before I even considered buying this I looked at the reviews and it was unsurprisingly mixed with 1's and 5's but I believed this company wouldn't do something so scummy take it from me don't buy from them or anyone on Walmart online that is NOT an official company they WILL SCAM YOU

the system is great and graphics are awesome. the only problem is it doesnt have enough memory. i would figure if microsoft is going to make a console that is all digital, they would atleast put enough memory in it to store multiple games. im rather disappointed about that. Thats on microsoft though not walmart

I feel like the price of the product itself was a little high as a result of the Xbox price increase a few months ago however Walmarts price was very competitive with other online retailers.

My Xbox itself works great but my controllers headset port is loose and broken which is weird because I'm pretty sure this was supposed to be new. Sad time but my Xbox works amazing and the controllers headset port does play but the headset port doesn't work well.

I've had the Series X for a couple of weeks, no issues with it so far. Backwards compatibility is cool, I had a bunch of Xbox 360 games that I'm able to play. Also, it's easy to find cheap Xbox One games. Very happy with my purchase, I just wish I bought it years ago.

So the scoop on this little guy is that it's about as powerful as the Xbox one X from last gen. If you mostly play games that have been around for awhile (destiny, GTA 5, halo games), this console will do a good job. It is important to note that some games aren't well optimized for the S, even though MS requires it. Ascent, for example, struggled until several patches addressed it.

The unit is really compact, which is good, but it gets hotter quicker. Since the system does not allow the insertion of discs (games), you would need to either purchase a game pass or transfer your collection from another gaming system. Be prepared to need a huge storage space, to handle your library of games, though.

I managed to get the Xbox series ax controller couple months after purchasing this console. Not because series s was trash or anything just wanted to bigger console. If you have a 2.1 hdmi TV or monitor this console can run 4k which was surprising to me. I gifted it to my sister and it works perfectly with PC setup!

Remote started drifting 2 months after purchase. Console works great as I purchased as a gift but the remote already started having issues 2 months into use. Just stick to the ps5 honestly.

Do not buy this Xbox from this seller. I wish I had paid more attention when ordering that it was a third party seller. Xbox is brand new and when starting up, it went straight into trouble shooting mode. Walmart support was excellent. Returned to the store and a refund was issued. Will just buy directly from the store.

Got it for my husband for Christmas. Was supposed to be a newer version than the one he had. His old one works better. This one constantly disconnects from the WiFi for no reason and has a hard time reconnecting. Everything else In the house will be running on the WiFi just perfectly fine. No issues. The Xbox lags constantly when the WiFi has full signal. Wouldn't recommend this Xbox to anyone. Apparently has hardware issues.

This is a BAD knock off of the X , save the money you'd use to get this series-s and just get the X (imo) Slow laggy performance, heck streaming YouTube on this is a pain go figure the ps5 variant is way better at streaming. Anyway wasted money but a small upgrade from my Xbox one (first gen) lucky me huh

ordered an xbox s series for my 6year old grandsons birthday on black Friday. Today was his birthday and he was so excited when he opened his present but we hooked it up and it wouldn't loas or set up so took it back to Walmart who refuses to exchange it or give us the black Friday deal to buy a new one. Screw Walmart policy. he's 6 and now he has no present !!!
