Camera clarity is second to none! The 4 camera kit also includes two solar panels which provides some flexibility as the locations I placed some of my cameras did not have access to direct sunlight to stay charged. Once Apple updates their Home integration to allow for recording/streaming beyond 1080p I will integrate into my Apple home setup. Also pleasantly surprised with the size of the home base I thought it was going to another bulky box connected to my router but it's small enough to hide away.

Setup of software and hardware has been easy and straightforward -- it's literally plug and play.\r\n\r\nThere is something about the app's UX .. it's not 'obvious' to navigate, but once you've gained familiarity it's okay.\r\n\r\nThe head on the installation screws keeps getting stripped. The metal is too soft and the thread too fine. The installation screws need to be proper mechanical/structural hardware, not electrical hardware.

A huge upgrade from those household brands. The night vision is just amazing. I love that they charge themselves to last long, stand up to the storms, and detect anything abnormal at my house! I definitely want more of Eufy products.

The camera setup was quick and easy and working well. I had some issues with returning separate solar panels, not knowing that the camera set comes with 2 solar panels. Therefore, did not give them 5 starts due to how hard it was to get permission to return the extra solar chargers I purchased separately. The other item worth noting is that Eufy currently does not make a long charge cord should you need to plug in a camera to a USB charger permanently that does not get sun exposure or when the sun is low in the winter.

Easy to initialize all components once charged up. Syncing to HomeBase3 was simple after realising the iPhone generated QR code is for the cameras (DOH!) to start registering to the HomeBase3. Picture quality is outstanding even at night. Many setup options NOT provided with the kit, found very good YouTube videos which showed the vast amount of selections. Very pleased and highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this camera system; it was pretty easy to set up once you know where you can attach them to your house. I really appreciate that these are truly wireless and only need solar power to keep them going. The video is incredibly clear and I love that the tower has so much memory and can keep hours and hours of footage on file.

The Homebase 3 is very nice and easy to set up. I was upgrading and the transfer of cameras between Homebase unites was very easy. The solar cameras have a great resolution, however the bater life is disappointing even with the build in solar panels. Apple HomeKit integration is easy to set up. HomeKit integration seems to cause even greater battery drain. I suspect I will need to buy a couple of external solar panels for the cameras.

The S3 pro cam kit was easy to setup and the picture quality is excellent. However be aware with battery life if your camera picks up a lot of events. One of my cameras did require a recharge mostly caused by activity from a blowing flag and from vehicles in my driveway. I have since added a second geofence area to eliminate the flag alarms with hopes that will extend the battery life of that camera. Overall, very pleased.

Eufy S3Pro cams are incredible, I have used two many over the ears and especially for HomeKit. These were a breeze to set up, have excellent solar regenerative abilities where I don't even need the additional solar panels. These cameras have made me a Eufy believer!

Excellent camera. Good range, sharp picture, easy to set up and use the app. When motion is detected it can either send a notification to your device or sound an alarm from the camera and the home base (depending on which setting it is on). Highly recommend.

This camera lives up to all the hype. I'm very pleased with the clarity of the picture day and night. My camera is in a very low light/sunlight area and the power has only dropped to 98% then shoots right back up to 100% Eufy you have a solid winner here.

The installation went as planned, the operations is fairly easy, and everything seems to work. My only worry is one of the 4 cameras does get enough sun so I may have to tweak that a bit. But the system works very well and the Daylike feature is really good for setting video at night utilizing low light to see video clearly. It's pricey though.

The kit has everything you need to get the job done, clarity is on another level, and features this camera gives is great! Especially the night vision, looks like day!

Great 4K cameras, and zero monthly cost. 2nd eufy security system I've owned, and I am very pleased.

One of my main requirements was avoiding a monthly subscription since I already have a NAS at home. Thankfully, this camera supports local storage, which makes it a perfect fit.\n\nSetup was straightforward, and I love that it comes with two solar panels—especially since I mounted the cameras in locations that don’t have easy access to power outlets. The solar panels keep the battery topped off without any extra hassle.\n\nThe Eufy app is user-friendly and lets you arm or disarm all cameras—or just individual ones—with ease. Whether I’m at home or away, I can control everything remotely without any issues.\n\nWhere this camera really shines is the night vision. It’s not the typical black-and-white you get with most cameras—instead, you still get color night vision, and the clarity is excellent. Very nice 4K image and night viewing. Good WiFi coverage distance outdoors. But compared to the wired E330 Pro camera, the S3 Pro is a letdown. Set at max sensitivity, it won't detect a human > 40 ft. Yet will unfortuntatly detect leaf movement and shadows. Won't detect a cat > 20 ft. Clips of motion start late and end early. Snapshot every 3 mins is working on one camera and not on the other.

I had a previous gen of Eufy solar cams, which were good for a while. I started getting solar charging issues. 1 cam had sun all the time, and it eventually stopped taking a charge at all. The other was in a less sunny place, and struggled to keep a charge. The S3 Pro’s were ordered as an upgrade, and I swapped out 4 older cams for these, after researching the S3 Pro for quite some time.\n\nThe best part of them are the following improvements. The solar panel is larger and more efficient, and so far these 4 cams have maintained full charge continually. I get more sun where I am than most, so not the best example for everyone. That said, compared to the older cams the difference is immediate. This upgrade alone should benefit anyone to a large degree. The next item is the color night vision. It looks like daylight and it’s very customizable. The rest of the feature set is similar to the older cams, but resolution, solar capabilities, night vision quality are notably better. \n\nVery user friendly setup, plug and play, or close. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set of 2 cameras are actually pretty high quality. Video pic is great… high resolution. I love that the cameras can be charged manually or by solar with just one hour of sunlight a day. The motion detection is great. The cameras pic up motion quickly. I like that you can add facial recognition too of family members if you want. Installation is easy. Directions just a little confusing but nothing that you can’t figure out yourself just by playing around with it. Would def recommend.

The S3 is a great camera with only one drawback. Because it is powered by battery and solar, it limits the amount of time that it will record a video before stopping. This makes some situations less than ideal, especially for scenarios where the camera doesn't record often, so when it does you want it to capture everything for as long as possible. \r\nIdeally, you would be able to by-pass this setting with the understanding that the battery might get depleted and you will no longer have camera coverage until it's recharged by the Sun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love getting new products like this because I have tried so many. The Eufy S3 Pro is absolutely amazing. Prior to this we had night owl cameras. They are great because of the continuous recordings. I love the eufy because it doesn’t miss anything. The AI technology within them is amazing and the video is incredibly clear. The installation was done within 30 minutes start to finish. The fact that I don’t have to run wires all over my house again was a game changer in itself.

One of the four cameras repeatedly went offline due to a weak Wi-Fi signal when placed more than 1 m from the HomeBase. After a three-day email exchange, Eufy admitted an AI-generated response was incorrect and advised me to contact the Australian distributor (Direct Electronics). I am now awaiting a replacement. Given the cost and the expectation of reliability for a critical family and property security system, this experience is disappointing and suggests inadequate quality control.

I’d like to know if it is compatible with the solar panel add on I had been using for my older eufycam 2 which this is replacing. It does not seem to have the same connector. Is there a part I need for this to work with an older solar cam. The new unit does have a built in solar panel but since the older panel is already installed in that spot I thought I’d try to connect it.

Have had the Eufy system for about 2 moths. This camera extended my existing 2-camera Eufy system. Love the quality (4K, day-for-night visibility, in *color*) and the features. Easy to set up. No storage (cloud) fees, since videos are stored locally. \n\nI would give it one more star (to make 5) if the sound quality were better. Very difficult to understand speech, even when someone is standing right in front of the camera. Am hoping that a future upgrade to the firmware will improve that.

I love the fact that the solar battery kicks in if anything happens to the power source - which is an awesome extra layer of protection.
