[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice looking coffee maker that is not so big it takes up a lot of counter space. For everything it does, its size is pretty good. I like the blue screen and how clear everything is on it. I also like the silver and black, it's always clean looking. I like how on the kcup side you're able to fill different sizes cups. You can fill a standard sized mug, a tall mug, or a travel mug. On the carafe side is a very nice thermal coffeepot. It locks and has a great seal on it so it keeps your coffee hotter longer than a glass coffeepot. The problem I find with this coffee maker is how you are expected to fill the water on the carafe side. It was steps down inside of it that are labeled with how many cups you want to make. I am not a fan of this and would prefer it just have a window on the side. I am short, I have a big counter, and I cannot see down this coffee maker to know how much water I'm pouring in. I do not want to have to pull my coffee maker out every time I want to use it, so I measure my water first and then pour it in. Besides that, I enjoy this coffee maker very much. I can use carafe, k cups, or make individual cups on the k cup side with my own ground coffee. This is a good coffee maker.

More and more I kept finding great deals on coffee, but they were always whole bean! I found a large bag of Starbucks whole bean coffee on sale in Costco and decided then I needed to cave and get a grinder. I'm so glad I found this one on a whim! I always read reviews before I buy anything, and this seemed overall positive. I was definitely not disappointed. This little thing is more powerful than it looks and very easy to clean. My tip is to NOT get it wet at all. It wipes down just fine with a dry paper towel around the cup and the blades. It keeps everything from getting ruined by moisture and keeps the blades sharp (be careful, because I've learned the hard way). So far, this grinder has worked great. I use it everyday to grind up fresh coffee beans. I only have two problems with the use of it, and they really aren't major issues. Just me being picky. I have a little trouble getting the lid on. You have to line it up just right with the grooves on the top of the machine. And the other one is that it only grinds on one speed, so you really have to pay attention to how long you push the button. I have ground coffee beans down to almost espresso powder, but it still brews up just fine in the coffee maker. If you want a low-cost bean grinder, this is it. I purchased this at a time of absolute necessity- My other long time grinder's blade broke off during the grinding of my next mornings coffee- So I needed one ASAP!- and this model was available for In-Store Pickup. So far, so good. I hope this one lasts for a long time. I've had two of these Hamilton Beach coffee makers before. Both ended up with issues but they each lasted several years. Having said that, this one was a great deal for this type of coffee maker. I love the versatility of being able to make pot coffee ( up to 12 cups ), or to use the Pod type coffee. This is so handy to be able to choose which you want for that day or time. I've been spoiled by having this type of coffee maker for years now and don't want any other kind. This seller sent this out quickly and it arrived in good shape. I was a little worried as the box was a bit beat up but the coffee maker itself was in perfect condition. I would purchase again.

Had it for about 2 months so far, nor problem works great. I like a few cups of caffeinated throughout the morning and my partner drinks 1 cup of decaf. So use the carafe for me and single serve for the decaf. Ideal for us. Easy to operate, can select either strong they call it bold or regular strength, and the included single serve brew basket is a bonus. I had to buy it separately for a K Brewer. The 5 year warranty is nice too. Ordered on line from Walmart at a great price and could bring it back to the store if we didn't like it.....BUT we like it!

If you are looking for the perfect cup of coffee, Hamilton Beach Flexbrew coffee maker is my recommendation. The flexibility of making either a full carafe, or a single cup, is my favorite feature. And I can use both coffee grounds and my k-cup too. Both selections come with a separate water reservoir, which saves me from constantly filling the tanks. I know that’s just a little thing, but in my morning rush I sure appreciate anything that saves time! The programmable timer is easy to use too- another convenient time saver- and who doesn’t love to wake up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee?

I LOVE MY NEW COFFEE MAKER!! It has everything I want and need on it. Got it two weeks ago and it makes a full pot OR it will make a K cup OR you can use your own coffee to make a single cup. It's exactly what I was looking for and a great price. I have already recommended it to many friends and my family. It will be great for visiting decaf drinkers as I can make a full pot of regular and then have decaf k cups for my mom. If you are thinking about getting this, I would suggest you hurry and buy it since I can bet it will be one of those items that sells out for Christmas - quickly.

I set it up before bed, it makes perfect coffee and holds nice and hot until my other family members get up. \nThe strong brew function is perfect for how we enjoy our fresh brew.\nWe (3 of us) were only using our Kerig now we save it for specialty flavors or a cup in the evening. Coffee options for strength of brew is nice as well as having the ability to set coffee on a timer so you can wake up to it ready. Both sides will give you a hot cup of coffee. Important to know that you do need a paper filter when brewing a pot as the basket alone will not keep grounds from finding your pot.

The carafe side makes a nice, hot cup of coffee. I did not have any of the issues with "plastic taste" that others had. My issue is with the single serve side. The temperature of the brewed coffee from the single side is warm, not hot. I have to put it in the microwave for about 20 seconds to bring it up to "hot". I checked the temp with a instant read thermometer, twice. Came out at 147 degrees and 154 degrees. H-B assured me that it comes out between 175 and 180. I thought that the unit might be defective. After much discussion, they sent me a replacement. Guess what? Same issue. Well, I guess I will continue to microwave the single serve for 20 minutes. It's an issue that I can live with. All in all, the coffeemaker is "OK", not great.\nCheck the pics for brewed water coming right out of the single-serve side.

Love the size of machine. Fits a 20 oz to go cup perfectly for the K cup. I like the quickness of the brew. The only drawback is that you have to refill the k cup side every time which really is no big deal. I really wanted to like this coffee maker, but it’s not fully brewing. It only drips a little, even with a full reservoir. I followed the manual step‑by‑step, but the instructions are vague and don’t explain what to do when the machine stops mid‑brew. It’s too soon for me to give a full review, but I wanted to share my initial experience. Before making my first cup of coffee, I had to prime the machine. It took a few cycles of running it without a coffee pod before the water actually started coming through. Once the water was flowing, I let it run a couple more times to fully clean out the system. Only after that did I feel ready to put in a K‑Cup pod and make my first cup. I like it so far. I love the idea that you can make coffee 3 different ways.

I've bought two (five actually). The first one lasted a couple of years and all worked well. The concept is great and I have not been able to find another coffee maker that does the same without exchanging parts. The only issue I've had... is when I the day finally came to replace it, I had to order and return two broken units before I received one that worked. Third times a charm. It was worth it! I use it for a small office and it's perfect. Takes up little space and so very easy to clean.

We've had 3 of these flex brew coffee makers. The first one started leaking after about 6 years of use. The second one stopped working but only after it overflowed and flooded 3 times. We've tried other brands but despite having to replace the older ones, we're happiest with this brand.

Replaces our older Hamilton Beach FlexBrew. The single serve side quit making on that one. I do like the new features on this model. The cup size option is a smart thing to have, and the water tank feature is a great idea. The carafe is much lighter weight. The extra accessories storage features are not as substantial as with the older model, but it should work sufficiently.
