I have had a Casio calculator for over 30 years. I had used it my entire career. I had relied on it and it was a staple for my businesses. Sadly, my Casio MS-80TE much like the Voyager spacecraft, traveled far and lasted much longer than could be imagined... finally gave up the ghost....... And yes, I know there is a calculator on every phone, every watch every device, but as many people , some for the first time are discovering, not everything need be a faceless digital product . Tactile buttons matter. physical presence matters. So, I shopped for a replacement Casio MS-80TE. Remarkably, but not surprising, there seems a sub culture of MS-80TE's available on Amazon %26 Ebay. while tempting, all were used and rather overpriced. so I searched for the Casio equal now in production. I now have this Casio MS-80B, an almost identical replacement for the MS-80TE. a touch sleeker, and with a slightly more modern finish, it is a worthy heir to the MS-80TE throne. I am completely happy with this model, and I anticipate this serving me well for many, many years..

I was looking for an inexpensive, BASIC, calculator with larger numbers. Anyhow, I found this one and tried it and I really like it. First, it does not cost very much. Second, it is a BASIC calculator. Third, it stands up on your desk without falling over. Fourth, it has the dual energy source (Sunlight and battery inside). Fifth, the actual KEYS are raised, so that you can use it with your fingers or if you prefer using a pencil (w/ the eraser end). Sixth, it is a CASIO, and I really like this brand since it's been around for a long time. Seventh, I like the measurements of it: 4-1/3 wide, by, 6 inches in length, by, 1/2 inch tall at the bottom and 1 inch tall at the top (since it has a slanted look to it).

What a wonderful portable desk top Casio calculator. The calculator is a nice size it's as big as a dollar bill light weight. It has the solar power battery plus a battery back up so you'll always have a working calculator in your home. The display is nice and large easy to read. The buttons are Large an easy to push. The calculator stays in place on your desk because there are rubber stoppers on the back of the calculator. The Casio calculator is working great and I'm glad to have it in my home you will too.

I bought this for my youngest son, who requested an eighties-style calculator for his general use (he has a scientific calculator for school and IDK what is up with Gen-Z not using their phone calculators). He particularly likes the tactility of the keys and the solar power. The response is instant (his old one was laggy for some reason), and the screen is easy to read. It's a very nice size for the desktop, as it doesn't get lost but it also doesn't take up a lot of real estate. I recommend.

I always use my chromebooks calculator and hate doing that because of the wfi exposure. I've tried several very small handheld calculators but the keys were to spongy. This calculator will keep me off my device calculators, the keys work very nicely and the numbers are easy to read. And, it is very good looking, too! I put it in a sandwich bag to keep it dust free and have used it already through the plastic jury-rig cover. I am very pleased with this purchase!

Casio calculators are just fantastic. Their buttons feel so much more substantial and pleasant to press than no-name or cheaper brands, and they WORK great. This calculator is what they call a pocket-sized one and has a big easy-to-read digital screen, but it's plenty big enough for using for any needs as it measures about 4 3/4" tall by 2 3/4" wide. It feels comfortable in the hand. VERY sturdy handheld calculator! A great find and excellent buy.

I have bought this same calculator twice because the buttons work best. I started buying this calculator when I had to create receipts daily for payments because I could work more quickly with it. It lasts a long time, and I only had to replace this one because of my preschooler that had thrown and dropped it (too many times to count). My old one, even with wobbly pieces was still functioning. Worth every penny.

This calculator generally works well and is easy to use, but the one thing that I find very awkward is the position of the "0" key, being off to one side. I didn't give any thought to the position of the keys when I bought this, but I've discovered that it would be a good idea to consider if the keys are in positions that you're used to. If you like the key layout, then this is a nice calculator to have.

I really like the size of this calculator and especially the size of the buttons. The display is easy to see and it's just the right size to sit on a desk but not take up too much room. I know it calculates cost/sell/margin but honestly I don't use any of that stuff. I got it to use to add up a bunch of numbers easily and be able to read the display without having to put on my reading glasses, LOL!

This calculator is very versatile. I use it for recipes, where I need to calculate for different yields; and to measure my gas mileage; to check prices at the stores; and, of course, to balance my checkbook. Sometimes, I hit the wrong key, but there's no "backspace" or "correction" key, so, I have to hit "C" (clear) to re-enter that number. Also, I'm uncertain as to what the "Tax" buttons do, but, I have no need for them. The display is good with ambient, indoor, lighting, but, not for sunlight or dim lighting. It works for me, and that's all I ask!

Great little basic calculator. Replacing another Casio that was an earlier model. Finally was unable to read the display on that one but lasted nearly 10 yrs so was time for a new one. If you are looking for just your basic calculator that is reliable for budgeting and or balancing your bank account or for those of us who still keep up a balance on hard copy get this one.

My memory of a Casio calculator from many many years ago was that the keys had good "travel", the functionality was good, and the overall product had a quality feel. This model has all that. If I could change one thing it would be to switch the placement of the "0" and "00" keys, but I just need to train my brain.\nWould definitely buy again!

So far, this has been a great little calculator. I had this same kind of calculator before, and it lasted for years and just recently purchased another. I hope this one last for years also. I used it to do much home budgeting and simple calculations. You can't beat it and it's of good quality. It performs the job needed.

I like it a lot, except for the way of % calculation. I don't know who's idea it was to calculate "n+10%" (push same keys on regular calculator) as "n" - "x" - "10" - "%" - "+" or "-" to subtract. Cumbersome. The rest is very nice! Quality is amazing!

For the price this is a very good calculator. I'm pleased with how it functions. I'd like to see batteries sold for these calculators. I haven't been able to find them. Once the battery dies you can still use it with just the solar but it has to be under a light source to work then. I'd give it a 5 rating if I could get batteries for it.
