The Pro Le Blanc Knife Block Set is an excellent package of quality German made knives in a very high quality hardened stainless steel for easy care. The blades are ground to perfection and robust, the edges honed razer sharp out of the box, the tang is a pinch up design that allows the user to choke up and maintain fine control. The heel of the handle is curved to prevent slippage. The Le Blanc white handles are better suited for my kitchen, and the block is heavy robust and functional with self sharpening ceramic function. The included poly cutting board is well sized for most cutting chores and well designed. This 7-pc set includes everything you need to get started minus possibly a Santoku which I ordered to compliment the set. The kitchen shears are quality stainless and sharp for fine cuts. Overall and excellent quality set, that fits the needs of this cook, for all but boning and butchering large game. Outstanding quality and heritage behind Zwilling's Pro line and a classy Le Blanc flair!

I could not wait to receive my 7 Piece set with Self Sharpening Block. I used it immediately after I opened it and was not disappointed. The knives are all easy to handle, cut precisely and are well made. The sharpening block is really nice, and visually stunning in appearance. This is the best knives I have purchased even though it is a starter kit for me after upgrading from brands of a lower price range.. I have encountered seeing these knives in a few of my friends homes and admired them so much that I chose to order a set for myself. I find these knives to be sturdy, and have an elegant look to them. I would recommend these to anyone looking to upgrade from casual knives to a professional set of knives. The knives are streamline and easy to clean. These knives would complement any set of stainless steel silverware set. I should start off by saying that I am average-above average in the kitchen and really have learned to understand the importance of having a good knife or knife set in order to make meals. I’ve used plenty of knives ranging from very poor to higher quality and this sets is well towards the top. The balance on each is spot on. They are light but sharp, precise and easy to use, and goodness, they look good. The block that came with our set is also well made and we are more than pleased with everything about it. Yes, it was pricey but we imagine teaching our future kids, nieces and nephews how to cook up meals using these knives. Thank you.

This set has it all! Even a boning knife and a bird's beak paring knife! two of my favorites. The Pro S line is tried and true. The quality of the steel can last for decades - mine has - and the comfortable handles are perfect for medium and small hands. If you have bigger hands, check out the new Pro line. Little bigger grips and a little more weight.\r\n\r\nThis set is complete with high quality straight edge steak knives so you can maintain their edge. But doesn't take a lot, these knives stay sharp wit regular honing. I do recommend hand washing, so they stay looking like new. They are dishwasher safe though.

This knife block is such a beautiful addition to our kitchen. We received it as a gift for our wedding and continue to be impressed by the quality of the knives. The variety of sizes is perfect for daily use; we only added one larger knife to the set as a vegetable-cutting tool and because we also love the Kanren kiri series. This set builds well: we were also able to add in the steak knives, which fit perfectly into the block. I look forward to having this for the rest of my life. The quality of the actual knives is excellent. They are balanced, sharp, and feel good in the hand for precise cutting.

We responded “we wanted them to last forever”. Hahah. Took the knives out of the box and instantly felt a tremendous difference in feel from all the other knives I have wasted money on. I could tell immediately that this was a quality product. I love to cook but hated prep. Wow what a difference the right knives make in preparation of your meal. I love these knives will be buying more.

I had a previous set so I knew these knives were second to none. Using a brand new set made me realize I need to take my old set to sharpen (which I did today) and also just how amazingly sharp these knives are when properly sharpnenned. Wow they make cooking 10 times easier and much faster to boot. The white handles are the finshing touch. I just HAD to have them. Wish they made a larger compete set in white but the block does include space for steal knives amd another large knife. The 30% off for presidents day made it a no brainer

I purchase German knives about 30 years ago although I thought they would last forever they didn’t. They ended up becoming butter knives but now these new knives from SWILLING are great, and work like a charm I was able to cut meat that I could not cut before, as my German, very expensive knives just were no longer sharp enough as they used to be . although one of my knives were missing, Wayfair hurried up and replaced it thank you  customer Service you guys are great thank you

Absolutely love this knife set. Chef's knife is a perfect fit in the hand, bread knife gets the job done, having both the utility knife and the pairing knife is a perfect 1-2 punch for handling the smaller items. I bought a set of 4 Zwilling pro steak knives to go along with this set. Outside of a maybe a breaker knife, there isn't much else that you need! Avoid those knife sets with 15 knives, you won't use em all!

I have been wanting a great knife set like this for years but refused to indulge myself. Luckily, my wife spoils me and got me these knives as a gift (along with the magnetic board pictured here - the board is not included in the ten piece set). The ten piece set is beautiful, the knives beds are so sharp, so easy to use and make using them a joy. I'm incredibly glad to have these knives in our kitchen.

So sharp, I was surprised at how easily they cut through soft veggies like tomatoes. I like the self sharpening block, so I can keep up their cutting ability.\r\nOne of the rubber feet on the wood block needs tightening, but not a problem to do myself.

Knives are of high quality. The knife block has enough space to accommodate future additions and looks great. The knives were all very sharp and have held a good edge so far. This set included a 'prep' knife that I didn't think I would have much use for but I have found it to be very useful in practice. Overall I feel it was a good value for a quality knife set.

Always a quality knife. Got the 7-piece pro block set after owning a complete pro set for decades. The o my reason I take off a star is the size options - seems my go-to 6” chefs knife from almost 30 years ago just can't be replicated. It's perfection. While I like all the new ones I've invested in as well, they just don't feel as comfortable - the handle is larger and shape is more awkward. Blades all feel a bit off too (I've literally tried all sizes and shapes over the years). This could just be habit and age, and a new user would never know what they're missing because they are consistently satisfying products.

These knives are well balanced and came sharp and ready to use. The construction is solid and can use these knives daily without needing to sharpen due to the knife block having a built in sharpener in each holder! Talk about low maintenance! I've just starting using these knives, but oh boy - they are so much sharper than my last pair. I really appreciate the extra slots for some random knives I have. I also think this is a great "bare bones" kit as you can pretty much accomplish anything with this knife set. Every time I cut I hear a cool "whoosh" with these!

I bought this knife set to replace a much cheaper set where the coating on the handles had worn off. This is a much higher quality of knives. Each handle is weighted just right. The grip is very comfortable. The cutting blade is razor sharp making slicing and dicing easy. Excited to use for many years to come.
