SECOND UPDATE - Wayfair pulled through and sent me a NEW machine, complete with Cuisinarts included warranty. Zero issues with this machine and I love it! Bumping my review back to a five star! 4-1-2026\n\nUPDATED REVIEW - 33 days after purchasing, the machine started dripping through the dispenser. Non-stop. Of course, 30 days is the point of no return for Wayfair. I pulled all the paperwork and started sleuthing immediately. I did all of the suggested cleanings. Twice. It was fine during the cleaning cycles with water only in it. Next day I put a very large mug under the dispenser and it did the same thing - coffee was fast dripping out of the dispenser on its own. I started reviewing my paperwork and realized that this machine has been refurbished. I went to the online order page and the original Wayfair listing and NO WHERE was it disclosed that this machine had been refurbished. BUT that is in small print. I contacted Wayfair customer service and after providing video and photos, including photos of the paperwork on the refurbish, they worked to make this right. I do appreciate them acknowledging that I did NOT purchase a refurbished machine and that the listing would have indicated that, had they known. My original review was five star. I’ve knocked it back to four star but will update again after the new machine arrives and I’ve used it for a few months. 3.21.26\n\nI used a similar model of this on-demand coffee pot while visiting a friend and really loved the concept of it. Decided to purchase after reviewing and researching WAY TOO MANY other coffee pot options. I love it. You fill a side tank with water. Add coffee grounds to the included filter, and turn it on! You dispense the coffee, as you want it, into your cup. Even after two hours in the pot it’s perfect. Taste and temp are spot on! I have it a five state wring, but would have chosen 4.5 had that been an option. Here’s the reason there’s some education, nuance and finesse to figuring out the dial turn and programming features. It’s not intuitive. At all. Otherwise -\nPerfect!!

I do like this coffee maker. I've had it since February 2025 - so about 6 months. My cord is long enough. I like not having a carafe that can break. I like the adjustable time for keeping the warming plate hot. I usually don't make a full pot. The clean button lit up today, for the first time, so I did the vinegar clean - no issues. The only issue I do have is with the drip tray. It's pretty useless. Water condensation (not coffee) does not go into the drip tray. Instead it goes around the part that protrudes from the back of the tray and fits into the coffee maker, and collects on the kitchen counter. As I said, it's water not coffee so I'm guessing it's condensation that runs down into the base and completely misses the drip tray. The protrusion part of the drip tray does not seem to be big enough to fill the space it is supposed to fill, so water goes all around it. This especially happens when I lift the lid to clean it. There's lots of condensation that runs into the space where the coffee reservoir sits (when you take it out to clean it) as well as running wherever it runs to get to the counter. It's not a deal breaker at this point. I usually remove the drip tray and stick a paper towel in the opening when I go to clean it. I let it do its thing today, so I could get a picture of it. If Cuisinart were to fix this issue, I would certainly buy this again if/when this one wears out. If not, I would probably go back to one with a carafe (and hope I don't break it).

I've owned three Cuisinart DCC-3000 coffee makers over the years, and the fact that I keep buying the same model says a lot about how much I like it.\n\nThe biggest advantage is the convenience. Instead of pouring from a carafe, you simply press the lever to fill your cup. It's quick, easy, and much less messy. The coffee stays hot and tastes great even after the brewer automatically shuts off.\n\nThe built-in Clean reminder is another nice feature. It periodically reminds you to run a cleaning cycle, making routine maintenance easy to remember. Since I have a whole-house water softener, mineral buildup isn't much of a concern, but I still appreciate the reminder.\n\nMy biggest complaint is the coffee level gauge. It's useful, but on every unit I've owned, it's eventually stopped working. Cleaning the coffee reservoir is also a little more work than washing a traditional carafe.\n\nI did have one defective unit that had to be returned because the Clean light started flashing during the initial rinse right out of the box. Fortunately, the replacement worked perfectly.\n\nIf Cuisinart improved the durability of the coffee gauge, updated the display, added smart/Wi-Fi features, and tightened up quality control, this would easily be a five-star coffee maker. Even so, it's still my go-to coffee maker after all these years.

Excellent drip coffee maker! I got tired of the stale tasting pod coffee, decided to grind beans and go back to auto drip coffee maker and more than happy I did! I bought a different brand machine in the beginning and was disappointed, returned it and found this Cuisinart coffee on demand. Not only is it a much nicer looking machine, it has all of the functions I want, but the difference in the taste of the coffee is superior! I believe the shower head is key to better tasting coffee. Love the ability to program the coffee to be ready for when I wake up. You can program the machine to keep your coffee warm for up to 4 hours after brewing and since it has a tank for holding the coffee to keep the coffee warm, it does not taste burnt even up to the 4 hour point. I also love that you dispense the coffee one cup at a time. I sip coffee through out the morning and this function makes it simple to keep the temp perfect! So happy I found this machine very happy with it and would definitely purchase again!

Don't get me wrong, I do love the brand and this coffee pot. My disappointment lies in the programming feature. I bought this brand because dependable programming is important to me. I like to have my coffee maker set to go off in the mornings before I get up for work. I have done this with every Cuisinart coffee pot I've ever had, (I'm on my 3rd). \nThe program feature is easy to figure out and get set, but for no apparent reason the coffee pot goes off whenever it feels like it and not at 4:45am as programmed. Believe me when I say I have double and triple checked the time and program time, but it still goes off once a week WAY before the set time. \nThe other issue I have, which started out as a selling point for me is the 1-4 cup selection, to make only up to 4 cups of coffee at a time. My logic is that I can fill the water chamber up, it holds 12 cups worth of water and then program it to go off each morning to only make 1-4 cups of coffee. SO, I'd only have to fill the water chamber up once every 3 days, which I thought was a great selling point! However, you can't program the coffee maker to do that. Even by pushing the 1-4 cup button, then setting it to 'auto on', then turning on your pot, as you do when you want it to go off at the programmed time, it will not just make 1-4 cups, it will use ALL the water in the chamber. \nI do love the brand, and the coffee maker is nice. The two issues I have aren't end of the world type issues, that's for sure. I do wish I'd purchased the newer version of the Cuisinart pot I had previously owned. It would have been a little cheaper and would have required just as much cleaning as this one.

I purchased this coffee maker to replace an older one that was still working but was slow to dispense coffee and the taste was just so-so. \r\nThis coffee maker is quite the opposite. The upgrade I enjoy the most is having the light underneath where the cup sits so you can see the cup fill and won't under or overfill. It also dispenses coffee at the right speed. Not too quick or slow. The coffee also has a much better taste and is hotter than my other coffee maker, so maybe that's why the coffee tastes better. It's easy to fill, reload with coffee and set the timer each evening so I have fresh coffee when I wake. I can only say positives about this coffee maker and glad I made the purchase!

It brews a good cup of coffee. On that I have no complaints. Otherwise I wouldn't be buying it for the 2nd time. We bought the first coffee pot in July 2022. It was still brewing until the end. Little things went wrong. It leaks from the pouring spout.Then the level of remaining coffee stopped registering. Next, a plastic piece of its inner working fell off in the hot coffee container. So we ordered a new one. The new one also leaks from the pour spout. That is why they are engineered with a catch basin underneath where you put your cup for filling. But, we didn't want a separate carafe, and are overall satisfied with the coffee pot. Not perfect, but worth the money.

The DCC-3000 model coffee machine is great! We spent a weekend at a friend's house and they had this model. As soon as I got home, I ordered it. I am sad to see this model being discontinued, I only hope this means they are going to maybe update it. The only thing that would need updated is the area where you place the coffee cup. It is not tall enough to place a taller mug underneath, but this isn't a deal breaker for us. Making this machine any taller might be problematic in where one places the machine on their countertop. I just hope to see this machine back in some form or another. We've had it about 6 weeks now and so far it's GREAT!

This coffee maker is the exact replacement for our previous Cuisinart coffee maker that lasted 10 YEARS!\n Also, we never had to replace any parts...at all!\n We were quite impressed with the performance and the speed to brew a pot. Total time to brew 7 minutes. The replacement brew in just over 6 minutes.\n My only issue was me overfilling the tank which flows into the condensation drain then into the spill tray that can be easily drained when float rises to let you know it's full. (All this is totally my fault)\n I highly recommend this coffee maker and with care and regular cleaning its nice knowing it should last a long time.

if you like to have a "pot" of coffee but don't like the task of keeping the glass coffee carafe stain free, you'll love this design as much as I do. I first bought this maker several years ago. I loved it. when the gauge that tells you how much coffee is still in the "pot" stopped working last year, I decided to try a different style that included k-cup capability. after using it for 10 months, I decided I missed the convenience/features of my cuisinart, so I bought another and gave the other maker to my sister. I'm a fan for life. I hope you're still making this design in a few years when I'm ready for a new one.

Everything about this coffee brew station is amazing. From the detachable water reservoir to the cool little empty/full gauge for the coffee reservoir to the push down lever to dispense the coffee into your cup. \nOur previous brewer was similar, but had a push button dispensing system that wore out making it necessary to take the filter basket out, then take the coffee reservoir out to pour the coffee. It was such a waste to have to get rid of it for that reason! This is a much better design! \nIt even has a light that goes on when you dispense the coffee so you can see how much you have in your cup!

Let me start by saying, I am not a coffee fanatic. I like my coffee hot, black and reasonably strong. This coffee maker does the job well and I like the carafe is heat controlled so that you never have to worry about the last cup being burned, like most other coffee makers. Also, there are no little pods to worry about disposing of.\r\n\r\nMy only complaint is the valve seems to degrade slowly. Our last one lasted a little over 3 1/2 years. One morning I awakened to a cup of java, and a counter full of Folger's Finest. But I like the unit enough to spring for a new one.

OK, lots of great improvements over the last model. Love the pouring light so you can see how full your cup is. Give me an a for that. But, you still use the same plunger to release the coffee into the cup. If not for that plunger, I would still be using, my old Cuisinart. So please come up with a new plunger or at least a quick and easy way to replace it once it gets crusty and begins to leak. Lastly, whose idea was it to drain all the water from the top showerhead if you will into the coffee dispenser ? You take everything out to clean everything out and as soon as you do all the water runs down into the only area that’s not supposed to get wet. This is another design flaw.\nOtherwise, I am totally happy with my Cuisinart.

This is my favorite coffee maker of all time. I purchased my first unit of this type in 2007, and it worked perfectly for 18 years. The newer model I purchased as a replacement has some improved features, including a detachable water reservoir and an integrated light that illuminates the cup as brewed coffee is being dispensed. I especially like the internal carafe that holds and dispenses the brewed coffee. It practically eliminates any evaporation while keeping the coffee hot for hours. The unit is easy to operate and clean after use.

The best coffee maker I've ever used. No exaggeration. Makes great coffee. I never thought that the coffee maker makes that much difference until I used this one. I use ordinary Maxwell House 100% Columbian. Nothing fancy. Keeps it at the perfect temperature but doesn't bake it like the glass carafe makers. I still have the first one I bought over 10 years ago. Still works but the parts are showing their age so I bought a new one. Honestly was afraid they'd stop making them. Made my son buy one also. He is a fan as well.

This is my most favorite coffee pot ever. It’s my 2nd one of this design. My first one made it about 13 years!! It’s so easy to use. I can get coffee at any time during the brew process. The gauge lets me know exactly how much coffee is left. The best part is no coffee pot to burn the coffee while keeping it hot. The coffee stays at the perfect temperature and you can set it to stay warm for a couple of hours to half of the day. JUST GO OUT AND GET IT!!

We recently replaced our coffee maker with this same one! It's the 3rd one we've owned in the past several years. It is simple to use and clean, is perfect for the two coffee drinkers in our house for the whole morning, with one cup at a time dispensed while the full well stays hot. This is my second one of these. The first lasted more than 5 years. It makes the best tasting coffee, no pitcher to scrub (or break), and keeps it nice and hot until you finish it. This one may last even longer for me, as it took a bit of a learning curve to find the best cleaner and best schedule for doing it. I have found that most Cuisinart products are extremely well made and reliable, and this coffee maker is no exception.

This is my second one of this Cusinart coffee machine. The first one finally gave it up after almost 7 years. I love the ability to make one or 12 cups, easy programmable settings and the ability to keep it hot for up to 4 hours. This coffee maker holds the coffee in a reservoir inside the coffeemaker with a heating element. It always stays hot. This is my second purchase of this same coffeemaker. The first one lasted 6 years. It's a little pricier than others, wish it would have lasted longer, but not much lasts long anymore anyway. Good to see that the power cord has been made longer. Otherwise an attractive, easy to use product.

Best coffee maker option for multi-servings!! Coffee remains hot up to 4 hours and is easily accessible with the press of a lever. Programmable feature is great, but the BEST part about this appliance is the ease of cleaning!!! Decided we were done paying the higher cost of Keurig cups for this Cuisinart beauty. Easy to set up and clean, well made metal parts (not completely plastic like Keurigs) and looks beautiful on my counter. Only took a few days to find just the right taste intensity. This is our 3rd one of this coffee maker. We love the carafe-less style. The reason we have to get a new one after about 3 years is that the unit turns off when done brewing. All of them have done this. This newest one starts brewing when we set it to brew in the morning. Turn it off, turn the dial away then back to delayed brew and it's fine. So far. This is a great machine otherwise.

This is the third version of this coffeemaker I have bought in the last 20 years. They last about 7 or 8 years before the gaskets go out. Still, I like the idea that I can put my cup under there and get a hot cup of coffee. It is fairly easy to clean and the timer works well. It would be perfect if I could put my travel mug under there, but using a cup is not that hard.

I had a Keurig for many years. Although it was reliable I wanted to make a change. I saw this coffee maker and loved the fact that it does not have a carafe but has an interior tank to keep the coffee hot. Love how it dispenses. I also really like the gauge that tells you how much coffee is still in the tank. On top of all that, it looks amazing sitting on my kitchen counter.

This has been my favorite coffee maker for 15 years. I love that I don’t have to keep replacing glass carafes that I would always end up breaking. Also, this machine will keep your coffee piping hot. The downside is I’m currently on my third machine because the removable water tank inevitably begins to leak or the spigot where the coffee dispenses will leak coffee.
