Very sharp and well designed. All 3 knives have been massive upgrades over what we had. They do a fantastic job cutting all the toughest things - for example, the chef's knife slices through tomato/pepper/scallion skins with no issues, and the bread knife handles very crusty sourdough well too. We would highly recommend.

The reason I bought this set, other than the great price, is that I bought a small paring knife by Wusthoff 35 years ago in Germany. I never sharpened it, and it remained my sharpest and very favorite knife until about a year ago. Now it's my second favorite. I love the craftsmanship, quality and durability of these knives. The blades are truly sharp, just the way a knife blade should be!
