I was having a hard time deciding if I was getting a Kindle or IPad. With a lot of research I choose the Kindle for 1) price is less then the iPad for 2) I was using it for strictly reading and I am happy with my choice. Battery life is great, and I can read my book without Internet. The one thing that I wish it would allow other reading apps to be downloaded other then that I love my kindle!

Love this kindle! I’ve been a long time Kendall user and fan. This is the newer generation of the Kindle version, and I love it! Super lightweight and excellent battery life. My previous older version had a lag with turning the pages and going to the menu, but that’s not the case for this one. I love this Kindle so happy it was gifted to me!

Happy with this, it's a long time since I had a Kindle, and this is an amazing transformation from those dim and distant days. Light as a feather and pocket sized, for those moments relaxing by the pool on holiday. No need to head off to the library in the depths of winter! You will simply love it.

The size and weight are comfortable to hold and e-ink displays are easier on the eyes than LCD screens. The screen light is well thought out with daytime and late night color options - bluish during the day, yellowish and dimmer for evenings. Expect 4 years of daily use or more.

The purchase was a replacement Kindle for an older model that was given to me by a friend. I like that it can be managed via WiFi. The size is compact so that is is eady to pack in a purse and take anywhere. The paperwhite makes it eady to read in all conditions.

Having used 1st generation kindles since they first came out, I have to admit the Paperwhite is taking some getting used to. My main gripe is holding the darn thing while reading in bed & not accidentally touching the sensitive screen which turns the page. I now have a cover which helps when I hold in my left hand as there is an elasticated strap but nothing for my right hand. But I\u2019m sure perseverance will pay off. I also have to master the technology of the thing & that may take a little longer at my age.<br \/>\r\nAll in all I do like the kindle, especially being able to read without the light on. So I will persevere as I\u2019m determined not to be defeated.

It’s only been a few months but I’m loving my kindle! It’s small enough to fit in my mini backpack and I can take it everywhere and anywhere! The amount of storage it has is awesome! I was able to download so many books without the worry for storage.

This is such a beautiful device. It really is paper-thin and so light, the screen quality is amazing, it doesn’t hurt my eyes, it’s just a perfect product.
