I very rarely write reviews, which is ridiculous because I rely on them heavily, but felt obliged to do so for these great lights. I spent a lot of time researching outdoor lights for the fence around our pool as we bought some last year that didn't even last a season. I had a really hard time finding what I wanted - solar, plastic or non-glass bulb protectant, ambient light but not too dull, long length, not huge spacing between bulbs, cost efficient. I finally found these and ordered 8 boxes of them and I have to say, they are perfect. They were very easy to install, bulb spacing is just right and the amount of light they put off is perfect. They are very attractive, as well. We've had several windy and/or rainy days but they still turn on at dusk and stay on for several hours and we've had no issues. I am pleasantly surprised at the great quality of these lights and would highly recommend them. Thanks Brightech!

Just the right amount of light! The spacing when combined with the lumens produces a perfect light that is not overbearing. A big bonus for us... the plug and play mini solar w/ internal battery. This standard two prong (IP44) plug and play solar feature allows the string lights to be used with an alternate standard house plug (making certain the specs/voltage are compatible, ours came with fairy lights)... and similarly the mini solar setup can be used with other products (again making certain the specs/voltage are compatible). Just an overall great product! So nice to have a lighted outdoor area without an electrical bill and one where the lights turn on and off without my thinking. Also provides decent and attractive lighting for dark areas where night time security may be an issue.

These lights are great! I was looking for Edison style bulks for outdoors but didn't want to fuss with finding an outlet that could reach. I was skeptical about a solar option because I thought it wouldn't be bright enough, but it would be easiest to avoid the outlet situation. These are the perfect amount of light to give ambiance to my deck (not as bright as the outdoor light I have out there).\n\nOne thing that didn't work well (minus one star) were the screws sent for installation. There was a clip that the solar panel could connect to, but the two smaller screws provided to do this were too short to attach to anything. I ended up using the longer screws (meant for drywall installation) to secure the clip to the solar panel but they stick out very far.

First, these are plastic bulbs that do not shatter. Second, I have had them up for two years on my deck and LOVE them. Perfect light for a glass of wine, snacks, and time with friends. No dead bulbs or problems with them. I do have to tighten the bulbs from time to time if they seem dim or out. I just got a third string of them now that the price has come back down. Pay attention to the light color when buying. One is a warmer more yellow light, and another strand length is a cooler "warm white". Make sure you get strands that are the same color temperature! The product description does educate the buyer on it so be sure to look for the info.

WOW!!! These are awesome and are exactly what we wanted to highlight our new pergola. We have 2 strands strung inside the pergola in a Z pattern, looking fantastic. They are on all night and add a lovely touch to the backyard. Very easy to install, only question I had was turning them on, there didn't seem to be any 'confirmation' click nor could I feel any movement. But I must have done it right because they lit up that very night. I was contacted by Emma, site manager, with whom I did respond and send pictures since I do not use any social media. I put these on our back porch and it was very easy to set up. The clip for the solar panel allowed me to clip it to the roof where it gets plenty of sun and each light bulb has a little hook, so you can drape the string or use the hooks. They charge up during the day and come on automatically when it gets dark! The solar ones were worth the extra cost to me because they won't use electricity and I don't have to manually turn them on (you can turn them off anytime you want of course). It make a beautiful scene on the porch and definitely gives it a cafe vibe. Recommend!

We did not like the idea of running power to the gazebo then found the Brightech Ambience Pro Solar Powered String LightsLights online and decided to give it a go. The solar/battery unit comes with a variety of mounting options. I attached it directly to a fence post, but the ground spike and clip options would be helpful in other settings. I installed three sets a few days ago. Even on an overcast day, they came on reliably at dark--including the set that gets some shade in the afternoon.

We bought these lights to replace another manufacturer's lights in our patio, they kept going out all the time and weren't durable enough for us. Super grateful for Brightech, all of their lights are durable and heavy duty and I love that these are solar. I can't wait to see the savings on my electric bill and we really enjoy coming home after work and seeing these gorgeous lights lit up on their own. The best part is that they are LED so they don't get warm at all, super safe for our kids.

I spent weeks searching for attractive solar powered lights and these are exactly what I was looking for. They look like the lights you would see outside at a hip restaurant. Even on cloudy days they light up at dusk and they're still glowing bright when I go to bed around 11:30pm.
I recommend ordering at least 2 strands unless it's a very small area you want to cover. We wanted them in a V-shape between 3 poles that are around 10' apart and ordered a 2nd set because one was too short.

We got these lights for the summer, going to host a party next week and so just put them up around our fence in the back yard. We also bought an extra string to hang on the gazebo next to the BBQ which worked out really well. They hang down so nicely and are waterproof so we don't ever have to take them down. We accidently got the solar ones but once we installed them we realized how much better it is to not have to pay for the electricity. Been telling all of our friends about these.

I love these lights, they've been up for 2 weeks now and they look great. I would be interested to see how they hold up in the long term. I heard about Brightech form my neighbor, who has these string lights on his porch. I thought they looked great so I got them too. I would recommend you use an extra wire for support and not the string of the lights itself. I'm planning to take these with us on our camping trip next week that's why I got the solar ones. Excellent find!

So I was looing for some high quality string lights when I stumbled on these. They look really great, even better than the picture. I bought a dimmer with these so I could control the brightness, as these tend to get a little too bright for my taste. The lights are sturdy and really easy to set up. They were all ready to go in 15 minutes, and we're saving money on the electric bill because they are solar! Love the new look of these.

I was looking for some outside decor that would match the mid-century style we have inside and was pleasantly surprised to find out about these lights! Wow, I did not realize that there are mid-century string lights out there and these are really great. They are really high-quality, bright, and the best part is that they are solar. They are cute and they stay on for several hours despite the fact that the solar panel doesn't get full sun all day. The one thing I wish might have been different was that the cord could have been longer, so that I could have put the solar panel on the other side of my porch stairs. But in any case I was able to figure out how to place everything so that it worked well. It really lends a cute aesthetic to my porch at night.

Excellent lighting, I never thought that I will buy string lights but I finnally gave in. These are so worth it. And I love the fact that they are solar. That's something that I've never tried before but now I can't imagine why I would want to switch to anything else. Solar is so convenient and saves me on the electric bil. I'm looking forward to see what the savings would be like in the winter season.

Great lights, we had some trouble installing the solar panel and making sure that it stays in place, but we figured out, we used a few more clamps to fit it to the fence and a steel wire to provide more suppport for the lights. Our backyard is really long so it was a challenge putting them up but now that we're done with the set up these lights look terrific. We're really happy with this purchase.

I needed solar powered lights so these lights are ideal.I installed these lights on my pergola in my backyard.The wind where I live is always extremely strong so I could not choose a glass type light. These are plastic features but , look like glass which is impressive.I have used them continuously for a few months and they light up at night and give the exact amount of light that I require.

Got these for my grandparents and was relaly pleasantly surprised. The quality is superior to the ones I use at home, they are super durable and really easy to set up. I chose the solar ones because this way my grandparents dont have to plug them in and they don't have to pay anything for the electricity. We've had a really great experience with Brightech and I would definitely order again.

They are easy to put up, add lots of bright light BUT.... go on way to late to truly appreciate. I tried setting the on button earlier but no matter what they go on at 9 pm and off at 5 am - i don’t enjoy them the way i thought I would. If I didn’t throw away the boxes i’d Probably return for less quality lights that went on a couple hours earlier. If they could fix that issue I’d buy more for my property.

Love the solar power, it’s a quick install and then you just forget about it and let it do its thing. Comes with little clips that have kept the lights up through some rough storms, and I like that the lights come on automatically because my backyard gets very dark as soon as the sun goes down. Cute, traditional lighting that really elevates the space!

I put my lights and solar panel out this afternoon and they are already working from just a couple of hours in the Georgia sun. I am very pleased with my purchase for three reasons; quality is much better than anything sold at the big lot stores, they are beautiful in the hanging from the trees, and prompt shipping. I will be purchasing more of them.

We've never had solar string lights before, this is our first time. I can't believe my husband had to convince me to get these. He kept saying that we could use these for camping trips, because they charge from the sun, but when I saw these I fell in love with them immediately and got an extra set for our backyard at home.
