The drive is very sensitive. If you bump the drive or computer while its in use it will tell you the drive is corrupt the next time you use it. That said, it goes threw the fix mode and all seems well after but its an inconvenience to wait for that process when really there is nothing wrong with the drive or files.

This device is supposed to have 2TB capacity. I moved 192GB from my PC to the device and Windows tells me that the device has an error so I allow Windows to repair/fix it. Upon Windows completing the repair I use it one more time and now i am unable to use it at all. Widows no longer recognizes the device. I have ran 6 various recovery programs and have tried the device on 3 other PC and Linux based machines and it not longer responds or is active to any interaction. The consensus is that the NAND USB2DISK USB Device is fake and does not have the capacity of 2TB and once I moved enough data to it to fill it then the Firmware no longer allowed the device to be utilized. I am unable to retrieve or access the 193GB of files that I moved to it and so that is lost. I was to use the device to move all the files to a Linux workstation. Two years of work gone. I want a solution to this problem.

Everything seems to work as advertised. Knocked off a star for all the ads showing TWO USB devices, but the price is just for one. Yes, I know the text clearly states "1PC", but why show two?

I recently got a terabyte thumb drive, and I have to say, it's been a game changer for me! DO NOT BUY! it's a rip off. I tested the supposed "2 TB" USB thumbdrive for capacity using specific software for this purpose. The results - it's only about 58GigaBytes, NOT 2TeraBytes!; using F3 probe 9.0(C) 2010 Digirati Internet LTDA. "Probe finished, ... Done. Bad news: The device `/dev/sdb' is a counterfeit of type limbo. *Usable* size: 58.26 GB, Announced size: 1.91 TB, Module: 2.00 TB, Approximate cache size: 511.00 MB, Physical block size: 512.00 Byte ." The manufacturer or seller "MAOLAI" knows this and the reported size to the operating system was deliberately altered to fool the purchaser.

I mean yes it's very easy to use and it has a lot of space but there's a problem every time I plug it in to my laptop it always says on my laptop that there's something wrong with my USB port and every time I try to download like a game on it it doesn't want to download onto it and it downloaded a few games on it but it just won't work anymore it keeps saying there's a problem maybe it's just my laptop I don't know but I'm very confused so yeah overall it is pretty nice

At first, this drive worked fine, now, my laptop keeps telling me the drive has errors (file corruption errors). While I can still access what is already on the drive, I cannot send anything else to it from the hard drive for storage. I have already reformatted it three times and it still falls into file corruption. Downloading directly to the drive is useless because it causes the drive to get stuck freezing my Windows Explorer, in turn causing me to have to restart the laptop and what ever remnants of the failed download remained, I cannot delete. I do not recommend this flash drive unless you want to spend time doing file maintenance and constantly dealing with file corruptions.

i bought it because i wanted a cheap storage device and couldnt believe the price and product. so after first use. its excellent. i just started and read the reviews. i hope it doesnt corrupt on me. im using it for a cfw ps3. formatted to ntfs. i moved one game onto for ps3 and one fot ps2. (my ps3 can play both) they worked just fine. another complain i read was that it doesnt really have 2tb. actual size is something like 70gb or less. i checked the storage capacity on my laptop. it reads 1.9tb. which is normal because it needs reserve space to run systems and what not. ill be giving anlther review after i download more than 70gb of games

Well, this is a horrible flash drive. It let me download my pictures onto the flash drive but now it tells me there's nothing there when I completely see that they're there and then it keeps saying an error occurred so I am not happy and I've been reading reviews and there's a lot of people not happy with these people. I think maybe you should take them off of your list to buy from . I would ask for a refund, but my pictures are all on there and I don't want them having them, but I don't know how to get them off because when I put the flash drive into my computer, it says there's nothing there.

There is nothing high-speed about this USB, it's already been 3 hours that I've been transferred files.

Scam. I have a program that writes out to a Jump Drive or an SD Card or an SSD drive. It first creates 256 folders numbered from zero(0) to 255. THEN - in each of those folders it creates files based upon the size of the drive (2TB in this case) divided by 256 which equals eight(8). So eight files per folder equals 2TB. All files in a given folder equals the number of the folder (so folder 0 has 8 * 1GB files which contain nothing but zeros(0). Folder 1 has 1's, Folder 2 has 2's and so forth.) The 2TB Jump Drive only made it to 8GB and then all files just contained garbage. Thus, these 2TB Jump Drives really are only 64GB Jump Drives. DO NOT BUY.

This is not a 1TB drive - it's a fake. Only discovered this today (a few months after purchase) when I was moving a large file to the drive and ran into various problems - extremely slow transfer speed, corrupted data. \n\nIt's a common scam - a cheap 16 or 32g drive with the internal firmware hacked to display a fake 1TB capacity. You can run a program called "H2testw" to verify the actual capacity of a drive (though it takes several hours). \n\nI did not expect to get ripped off this blatantly buying on Walmart.

It arrived in good shape and time. The problem is when I try to save files and photos upon it to no avail. Some typed files transfer but nearly all of the photos and videos have titles without any content in the file or image in the photo. I consider this not even worth the effort to get it replaced so I will simply retry my effort and it if does not work, I shall simply toss it in the trash and consider it a lesson learned. Just have to ignore the cheap trash available from certain countries with low reliability standards.

This flash drive is perfect! It is lightweight enough to not weigh down your pocket if you want to put it with your key fob. Personally, I wouldn't put it with a bunch of keys in fear of damage. There is plenty of storage space to hold all of your data, or if you want to partition and use some space for backups and some for media to free up cloud or device space, this is perfect! If you remember the rule of three (three backups), this could definitely be one of those three!

It functions as designed. The last 2 flash memories I bought didn't. have been having problems with portable memory storage of all kinds due to lack of quality control, even when I pay twice as much to get a name brand. I ordered 3 SD cards from Lenovo for my phone (it's a Motorola manufactured by Lenovo), and one worked, two didn't. This time I ordered the cheapest 1TB flash drive available. Don't let the fact that I happened to get a good one make you think you necessarily will. If you can find a cheaper one, buy it instead.

now when I say no to what I recommend just know that I mean for video I bought this to use on my Chrome laptop which is up to speed and fully functional Samsung and it does work very well if you have a gigabyte worth of pictures and images that you need to store away somewhere but if you are looking for something for video this is definitely not a stick for you I would look elsewhere although it says laptop and high speed it doesn't work for video I'd be careful I lost a lot of stuff close to 400 gigs of video all in one pop

Unfortunately, this is a counterfeit thumb drive, whereby it reports as having a larger amount of memory than it actually has. I bought this for file backups on my DVR, and it does not come anywhere to holding 1tb of data. My DVR vendor ran a series of tests on it because I thought the DVR unit had malfunctioned, and they confirmed this is a Chinese counterfeit. I return it for a refund. \n\nIf you buy this, know the price is too good to be true for a 1tb drive, so but it at your own risk.

I bought this to clear up space on my hard drive of files that I don’t need ready access to. After I transferred about 80gb of data I ejected the drive. When I plugged the drive back in 3 hours later to transfer some more files the drive name was back to untitled and all my files are missing. Now I have to spend at least a day running programs to see what I can recover. Now I see why they discounted it so much. No one was going to pay over $100 for a faulty drive.

These are fake 2TB USB flash drives. They are 64GB drives that have been altered to return 2TB capacity when checked by file explorer. You can copy to them, and all looks right, but nothing is actually written. When you try to open the files that you think are there, SURPRISE!!!\n\nThey are a waste of money. The USB Flash Drive looked OK until I tried to use it. When I inserted it into my computer (and I tried both our computers), it worked great and was a "Plug and Play", BUT after loading several hundred pictures I ran into issues. Unplugging and then trying again, the computer said there were ERRORS and when doing a "Error Check" it would lock up both my computers.

As other reviewers have stated, this is not a 1 TB memory. It only holds about 64 GB of data. Attempts to write more than that corrupt existing folders making them unreadable and those corrupted folders can't be deleted without reformatting the USB drive and losing all data. Write operations are excruciatingly slow on the order of an hour to write 64 GB.

My computer was getting full with the software and video fills i have on my computer. when i try and move fills to the flash drive sometime it let the file be add and they work. and the when you try to files and later they will not load or work when you try to use them. this was a piece of junk you sent. me so from this day forward anything I need for my computer will not be order from walmart. everything I ordered from walmart works well but not the flash drive you set me.

I plan on to use it for backing up all my pictures! Can't wait! I will say it did take a long time to get here....
