Omg can I say WOW!! yummy! I ran across these for the first time when I was shopping for an online order, and I will be honest with you I didnt know what I was getting myself into, but I read thru comments and the reviews were all good saying "if you have the chance buy two bags" "they're so delicious " and so on. So I took the leap and added 2 to my order, and when they arrived at the door, I spotted them first hand and grabbed them out of the bag before I even carried the groceries inside 😅. I opened the bag with great excitement and bam, THE BAG RIPPED, and all the chips were on the porch!! I was shocked to see them getting gobbled up by my cocker spaniel. He didn't complain about them at all! After my shock was over, I grabbed my phone to take a video of him, but they were all gone by then, but I did get one of him and the few that were left. But the second bag I opened (in the house) and I thought I would smell something different, but they just smelt like plain lays chips. I was taken aback by them not having a savory smell, but I can't judge them by their smell, so I grabbed one out of the bag and put it in my mouth... WHAT!!?? Was it bbq? cheddar and sour cream? or sour cream and onion?.. I didn't get the taste of salt and vinegar (and that's my favorite chip), but the flavors were changing in my mouth with every chew I made. I just wonder if every bag tastes differently because the flavor changes so much in every bite. That's just something to keep in mind. but if you do buy these, go in open-minded and make sure you're sitting down at the table when you open the bag 😆. The only negative thing I can say about the bag is the small amount of chips that you get in the big bag. It was over half full of air, and the chips were so small in the bag you had to reach your whole arm in to get one out. But I think that's with every packaged food these days. But i think if that is all the negative things I have to say about the chips, then i think that's pretty good!! I know it's not the company's fault, but approximately 3/4 of the bag of chips were crushed. I'm talking eat them with a spoon because they were so crushed! I bought them for a friendly get together and couldn't use them. This isn't the first time it has happened and I know it won't be the last time. They were just crushed beyond belief. TBH these weren't that bad, they definitely have a vinegar base aftertaste and the initial bite I guess was more of an BBQ type flavor more or less...I've seen some review's claim it has a ketchup like taste which I can kind of relate but to me it's more of a sweet Barbecue with a dill pickle vinegar type afterburn lol they're really good though and I bought these on rollback for a discounted price of $2.50 so definitely worth the value 😎👍👍 It pairs pretty well with a tuna fish salad sandwich btw, just saying lol 🐟 🥪

First of all the chips have a delicious flavor; and are light and crispy! however, they can, in some instances, be a little too salty, according to my taste! I'm not sure if they offer their barbecue flavored chips in the 'lightly salted' option; just as they do their regular chips. At times, I try to eat them one by one, so as not to pile on the salt, in one bite. But this can be challenging, since it's tempting to chew on a small stack of them! Hence their motto: ''no one can eat just one" - (at a time)! 😃

Lay's Barbecue Chips have that classic BBQ flavor — bold, smoky, and really satisfying. These very good jobs or seasoned well and had a good flavor. The price has gone up and the chips are not cooked evenly. Some are definitely overcooked. Also, somehow have brown spots on them. There seems to be fewer chips in each bag than used to be, but that is happening in other brands also. I would buy them again, but not as often as I used to because of the price and lack of quality control.

This flavor of Lays potato chips tasted good. Lately I've been getting too many black spots and overcooked chips in the plain classic chips, but these honey barbecue chips had fewer overcooked ones and ones with black spots on them. I would try them again. I would serve them to company. They tend to be pricey unless on sale. The texture on the ones that weren't overcooked was very nice.

I love Baked Chips. It's just something different, texture wise. This flavor... I'm torn. I dont hate it. But I don't like like it. I don't get baked potato flavor. To me, these were best eaten as a snack, not paired with anything. I tried to pair with a sandwich, and it just didn't mesh together. Still good quality chip.

Well, these here are so delicious no one would blame you for hiding them. Except maybe the wife. Which is why I get her Sea Salt and Vinegar, which is her favorite, but yuck! am I right? But I still have to hide my BBQ chips because otherwise she'll just do halvsies—half sea salt and vinegar, half BBQ, to go with her sandwich, which just ain't fair because I don't do halvsies with her vinegar chips! So I just hide mine and then she'll be like, Ed? You seen those barbecue chips? And I'll be like, Nope. Which is true because I ain't seen em since I hid em in the garage. But then I gotta take my sandwich out to the garage and eat it in on my work bench just so's I can keep Willa from eatin all my BBQ! And then I got to brush my teeth right after to erase the evidence and what fun is that, putting that toothpaste flavor in your mouth instead of letting that barbecue chips flavor linger there like it was meant to, so you can have a bit of the afterglow, am I right? There ought to be more justice in this world!

Light %26 Crispy. Nice regular size bag of chips that are fairly unbroken. Good flavor and a good amount of BBQ taste. Definitely in keeping with the "Nobody can eat just one" marketing. Just the crunch I need with a sandwich. Not resealable.

I love chips but they're high in calories. Who eats only 12 chips or whatever the serving is on regular chips? Not me so I've been buying baked chips for a while, mostly the plain flavor because that's all there used to be. Baked chips are an acquired taste. They're very thin, they taste somewhat “diet-y” but they're crunchy, lower in calories and the portion size is larger so you can satisfy a chip craving. When I saw this flavor come up online I had to try. Very good! They could use more of the vinegar, the tang is there but would love a stronger taste. I was worried about including them in delivery order, as mentioned these chips tend to be very thin but the bag arrived not crushed or damaged in any way.
