The fact this unit has no CD capabilities, it's cosiderably shorter front to back. This allows for it to fit so much easier into my 85' CJ7. If you have an older Jeep you know what I mean ( no room between dash and defroster duct ). Besides the awesome fitment the sound is excellent and the fact that it's a marine unit is icing on the cake for my open air CJ. Wonderful upgrade in my Jeep.Lovin it!!! I installed this stereo in my partners car to replace an older Kenwood that ate a CD. It was basically a swap out as the harness and mounting was the same. Took 20 minutes to do. The sound quality difference is amazing even though they have the same basic features. Technology in just 10 or so years is incredible. It is exactly what I expected from Kenwood. I have an similar older Kenwood head-unit that I love, but it is missing bluetooth. I think this unit will be a good choice of replacement after installation. I like the size of the form factor. - It fits my portable project with room to spare for more batteries.It is exactly what I expected from Kenwood. Coming from a flip 5 to a charge 5 has been a welcome change not to say the flip 5 doesn't amazing this just boast more sound better bass and the ability to charge your phone. I like the rubber grips on the bottom its essential when cooking I can put on my my freezer door and opening and closing it while preparing good it stays closed not a budge at all. I thoroughly enjoy this speaker.

Kenwood quality has alway been great. I have a Kenwood system,receiver and Amp in a different truck that has been in it since 2006. Still sounds excellent.Kenwood quality has alway been great. Great receiver at a good value. It has many different options for settings of sound, frequencies, lights, etc. The green looks really nice and bright. The power and sound is excellent. The bluetooth works great so no more having to plug your phone in to a USB cord. I'm really enjoying the Kenwood.

pure trash. dont waste your money. buy a better one. after hours of installing this from scratch, it wouldn't even turn on. hooked a different one up that was for a different project and turned right on. this is junk. its now in a hundred pieces on the floor. not even worth the tine to return it.

It's a little older model but you can set the frequencies from your base to your mids to your highs and 15 different hearts frequencies bass boost audio enhancers loud mode all kinds of things I mean it sounds very very good it will push 6 in and make them sound like you have a mid amp hooked to it.

Received the radio today and I have installed it , it sounds clear and have a good radio station signal, I tested the phone Bluetooth had no issues everyone seems to hear me clear it also has a lot of features to it still learning it 😆 lol great radio.

This is a really neat car deck, has tons of sounds enables and super easy to connect even does multiple devices like my tablet and phone at once. The app also works and there are different types on play store but likely you wont need it.
