I had the P300-10 for nearly seven years. It still sounded great but didn't have quite enough for upgraded door speakers. This thing leveled out the sound perfectly. Sounds excellent as I have come to expect from this brand, and will last. For reference, I have it in my Subaru XV Crosstrek and it fits well behind the passenger rear seat.

Awesome set up

I put this subwoofer in a subcompact SUV. It's more deep base than I need but that's on me. I likely would have been better off with 300 watt sub. I only used one set of the velcro strips on the bottom of the sub sitting on the carpet in the cargo space. It won't move around but will be easy to take out when I need the extra cargo space. I may need to find midrange drivers in the front doors more efficient than the stock speakers in the doors now. Still figuring that out.I put this subwoofer in a subcompact SUV. I've had 3000 watt systems that would jar your eyeteeth loose... I purchased a new vehicle and wanted to keep the factory stereo intact. The P500 was simple to install. Just tapped into my rear speakers and ran the power and ground. Running the power wire was the most time consuming. Sound quality is what I was after and that's what I got.
